We have been MLB.com subscribers for years. Loved the service, although the blackout dates are irritating. Over the past few years MLB has begun the process of pimping games out, FOX, ESPN were kind of understandable, but Amazon Prime and Apple TV proves they don't care about their subscribers.
Today we found out that tonight's game was on Apple TV. We could not get the game on our Apple TV device. Spoke to Apple sooort and was told that our ancient 2021 operating system was not supported. 45 minutes of updating got the game to open but found out it requires a $6.99 per month subscription to Apple TV plus. Why am I paying MLB.Com if I have to pay another streaming service?
Last year.

EVERY time you go there, there is a picture of ohtani proclaiming him God. So tired of their anti-white, woke agenda, as is most media, pushing these players on us while ignoring others for obvious reasons. Why has Babe Ruth's, THE GREATEST PLAYER EVER, number never been retire? Hmmmmm...wonder why.
MLB.TV has always been glitchy but doable. Since the ASG of 2023, matters have taken a downturn. I can no longer view condensed games or recaps on my Android TV and customer service has yet to respond, nor have I seen any online comments about it. I'm holding out hope that complaints like mine will light a fire under them to do the right thing.
Took my money at the beginning of the season. Now the app doesn't work on my TV and they informed me that my TV is no longer supported...halfway through the season. Terrible customer service. They now want me to buy more equipment in order to use the service I have already paid for. And they refuse to refund my money.
Worthless...don't do. If you live in a market like I do (Philadelphia)...someplace, someone will be showing this game so 'ALL" home games are blacked out and just about ALL away games. What is the point of having a network where the true fan of a team can't watch their own team? Worthless...worthless, worthless. If baseball wants to make a comeback (or they are doomed), well...they better put more FAN in the word FAN...
Let me start by saying that I live in Salem, Oregon, and the nearest baseball team (the Mariners) is 220 miles away. I am apparently subject to blackout for them, but don't really care because I don't follow them. I signed up to be able to watch Dodger games on my computer while I work or do other things. Last year (2022) I was able to watch nearly ALL of the Dodger games regardless of where they were playing.
This year? For some reason, MLB.TV has me blacked out from every game. I have seen fewer than five games all season so far. I have called customer service half a dozen times. Each time I'm told that based on my location my being blacked out is a mistake. Can they fix it? Nope! They tell me that Tier 1 cannot do that (even though they did it last year) so they will take my number and Tier 2 will call me back within 24-48 hours. Nobody...ever...calls. Not once. I called back and asked for a supervisor. I'm told supervisors are not available and one will call me back within 24-48 hours Big surprise...nobody called. Ever.
To sum up: MLB.tv wants us to pay $120 to see our team...never. Then when we complain, their customer service is non-existent. Great business model. The only reason I gave these thieves one star is because zero stars was not an option.
The technical support is no help. They 'escalate' issues and never get back to you. They open tickets and close them w/o the problem being resolved. Turrible.
You pay for the whole season but don't get all of the games. They constantly hand off games to other providers. When Apple+ or Peackock or anyone else broadcasts the games, you don't get to watch unless you start paying for these other stations. So you get to pay MLB and every other streaming service to see ALL games. Of course they don't advertise this when they sell you.
Tried 2 different cards one had over 5 grand on it. Don't know what there problem is. I have no problem with YouTube tv or Hulu. I waited 30 minutes and my card was declined. I guess they have to many customers don't want new ones. Iam done with MLB TV Be careful trying to use a MasterCard. They show it's the preferred card of major league baseball. Not really what a joke.
A Boston/LA game was blacked out and we live in Columbus, Ohio. I called and they were incompetent and unhelpful and the (foreigner-sounding) agent said he required my IP address in order to help us access the game.
This is truly one of the biggest scams out there. They will tell you that some home games are blacked out, but if you look at the link that they gave you for games that are blacked out there's nothing there. And if you look into the fine print, it will tell you that home games and away games are blacked out. It's an absolute scam
Even tho mariners is my favorite team, blackouts far exceed televised games. What a giant ripoff. $150 down the toilet
Why do I have to pay another streaming service to watch the Reds. I know it's being filmed why does MLB not have the right to show their own games... what a joke for paying for radio
I purchased MLB to watch baseball games and not watch player or manager interviews. If I wanted to watch interviews I would go to the appropriate sportscast to do so. It is very annoying and aggravating. If announcers can't keep up with a game, then change announcers. This is a crap policy. Watching Atlanta game and have had three interviews in just the 3 and 4 innings And another 3 more thru the 7th. Redundant crap. What think of team, etc, etc. Sick of watching these interviews. Why am I unable to access my account.? Why am I unable to set up a new account? This is an absolute pain in the tush. Two hours off my Sunday evening. Nobody to reach no help available: You suck - Below on your website, you were asking more information from me. How dare you? Do your jobs
James was ver courteous, and helped get the Phillies collage for national league championship delivered earlier than anticipated
Great asset to your team
Playing for 3+ yrs. Passes time. Used to be good game. Updates are simply to make users download new programs but no enhancements. Game designed using multiple programs meaning your skills don't matter if the program is predeterminación of game outcome. Don't waste $$ to buy players, etc. whether you get good players or purchase supposed player enhancements the programs win and they make $$. Phantom players you didn't buy or select end up on roster and can't be deleted. Big brother or glitch? Overall if you're sitting in airport or under dryer or on toilet it passes time. Clutch game mode best however you can't manually control game so…it will never be a #1 option among other similar games.
Refreshing my browser 25 times per game takes the fun out of watching my team. I cannot believe in this day and age of technology and with the money that the MLB has that they cannot find a way to have a functioning product after all these years.
When I created my MLB account they populated my address as Avenue of the Americas, New York City. I live in PA. Under edit profile I am not allowed to change my address. When I attempt to buy tickets on the Phillies website, I am automatically sent to the MLB site. Then it says I can't buy phillies tickets because I don't live in PA, DE, or NJ. I've emailed support 4 times trying to get my address corrected. The response is to contact the team I purchased the tickets from. I can't buy the tickets because the MLB account address is wrong. I've emailed them to ignore the tickets. Just tell me how to fix me address. The response is to contact the team I purchased my tickets from.
No way to access the wild card, div, or any schedule. It just disappeared an hour ago.\
Mlb morons don't know anything about their website.
Forced to go to espn, cbs, or any other, mlb has no information.
