Many users express frustration over billing problems and the perceived decline in content quality, particularly regarding Netflix originals. Overall, while the platform remains popular for its variety, the growing concerns about service reliability and customer support suggest a need for improvement to retain loyal customers.

Netflix provides a great service for a great price. There is nothing bad I can even really think of saying about them. I have been a satisfied customer for at least 2 years! They also provide great customer service when there are issues (which does not happen often).
I was one of the people who never "got" netflix until the rising cost of cable got the best of me and I decided to give it a try. I couldn't be more happy with it. It's like having a full video store at your fingertips. We play netflix through our X-box 360 and even with a sub-par internet connection it works amazing. I highly recommend it to everyone looking to cut the cost of there cable/satellite companies
Good but just wish there was abetted selection for instant streaming.
Netlix is pretty neat, unlimited streaming on numerous devices. One thing I don't like: I closed my account because I couldn't afford it for a bit. When I opened my account back up, I was hit with tax. I'm thinking, can they do that? No one else I know pays a tax on streaming. What's worse, I'm paying more than my county and state tax rate. Florida state rate is 6%, my county is 6%. Netflix charged me 7.5%. First month I called, I was told I'd hear back in two weeks. A month goes by with no word, so I call back and I get to talk to a supervisor. They asked for the same info I gave them the first month about the tax rate. The supervisor said I'd hear back in 72 hours, this time it was true, I did hear back in 72 hours. Only to be told that I was being charged the correct rate of 7.5%. Thanks a lot Netlix, would've been nice if you discussed that with me before I signed up again.
Used to have streaming and 1 dvd/month. However, somehow I couldn't stream onto my computer anymore with silverlight(?). I will probably renew the streaming part when my daughter comes home from college because she watches more tv programs that she missed while she was at school. Was going to stop netflix, but I like to get tv series from HBO and Starz.
SO CONVENIENT! It's pretty cool how they added k-dramas and movies. Love the layout and navigation of it, super easy to use!
Movies get here fast. I don't stream much but if I did, I wouldn't be happy with Thr selection. Since it works great for what I like which is the DVDs, I give them 5 stars!
So many options, unlimited movies, great customer service!
If you had asked me a few weeks ago, I would have rated this higher. They have a new feature where tv episodes keep playing automatically- not helpful if you like to go to sleep while watching a single episode...
I wanted to love Netflix - it's so easy. I put my account on hold quite a while ago because I rarely watched the DVDs I ordered right away (maybe 1 a month) and rarely used the junk streaming content - I thought I might get wistful for crap movies and shows and I'd spent so much time feeding their ratings machine, but I didn't. I logged in and canceled my account, sad for the lost ratings. I noticed a charge on my online credit card statement recently and investigated - they had reactivated my account three months ago (yeah yeah, I should be more vigilant with the statements, whatever). When I called, Tayvon said he could only authorize one month of credit but could see I hadn't used it since I placed the hold. I asked to escalate, he put me on hold then offered to give two months credit because his supervisor was busy. He told me I could call my bank and dispute the third charge (likely a policy because AMEX will eat a small charge rather than go to the trouble to dispute it). Ick.
For me it is the best and most affordable website to watch movies... There are no late fees and no stress. It has the largest collection of all kinds of movies you wanna watch
I love watching instant movies on netflix! They have so many good ones and the price is cheap just for online viewing. I don; t subscribe the the movies being delivered to my home anymore just the online deal and I love it!
I have been using netflix to stream movies and I love it. The picture quality is surprisingly good for internet delivery and the variety is decent. They have a better selection through their DVD mail service (which I don't subscribe to, but know because when I do searches sometimes it says a movie is only available on DVD). It's about $9 per month and there are movies, t.v. shows, made for t.v. movies, documentaries, and t.v. specials available to watch. They have a good selection of foreign films. For the price charged you get a good value.
Good for me and for now. They better expand their stock and availability if they want to still be competitive.
Most of us try to keep track of all our favorite movies and TV shows but sometimes it's very difficult with most of our busy schedules. Netflix, Hulu and Sidereel are three of many sites that allow us to track the things that we want to watch. Watching our favorite videos online saved us money and time. We can watch something faster online since there are less commercials (usually saves about 15 min.) it's also cheaper than going to the movies or renting a video for a night. Using these sites we can watch them from anywhere in the world at a convenient hour.
Netflix is a really great site since it has thousands of movies and TV shows to choose from. I personally really like the fact that it has no commercials. I think that Netflix should update their site daily so that the viewers can watch a show that was shown the night before. I also wish that Netflix was more affordable since the prices are a little high. But overall it's a fantastic site and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
As movie stores, such as Blockbusters and Movie Galleries, are becoming slim to none in existence, many people have resorted to online options to watch movies. Many people prefer the online option to view their movies because it is often times free or cheaper than renting one at a store. Also having to be home or near a tv at the exact time your favorite tv series airs its newest episode is no longer an issue with these web 2.0 tools since they have both movies and tv episodes for their users. This instant availability has definitely been a major pro for users and is probably one of the main reasons movie stores are going out of business.
I found three web 2.0 sites that people can use to watch their favorite tv shows and movies. I took into account the websites' affordability, accessibility, reliability, and more to create my reviews.
Netflix is very user friendly. A con of the website is that you have to subscribe to the monthly fee of $7.99 before even using the site which means there are no free options. However after subscribing you can watch unlimited episodes and movies online. A pro of the site is that it also offers the option of watching through PS3. Wii, Xbox, Mobile, Tablets, Smart TVs, and Bluray players. I would definitely recommend this website to a friend due to all of the options the site provides.
I loooove Netflix! We stopped paying for cable a year ago and have switched to a ROKU box. Everything we watch is streaming now and Netflix has everything our heart desires! :)
Simply the best deal for your money.
I don't like that some movies and shows aren't available for streaming and can only be gotten by DvD. (meaning that to view everything available you need both plans.) But other than that, I LOVE Netflix.
They really care about thier customers too. They listen and learn and improve the site based on customer need... not company bottom line. And for that they have loyal customers that will be with them and supporting them for years to come.
During this time of recovery from an economic downturn, people are saving money and have become more frugal than ever before. Many people have cut back on the luxury items and only focused on obtaining the necessities. Going to the movies with high priced tickets and popcorn was a luxury that many people cut back on.
As we began to embrace these cut backs we put together a list of websites to watch movies and/or tv on to little or no cost. We kept in mind a number of things such as affordability, reliability, clarity, and much more.
I personally think that this site is the best when it comes to online movie/tv screening because it is very easy to use and aesthetically pleasing. It is a very visual website and you can find just about every movie you can think of. There is a very low monthly price which is a con because nothing beats a free site, however it is affordable. I would definitely recommend this site to a friend.
A great site with a low price. I only watch via my X360, so I don't need the DVD's, I only stream and for $8, I can watch unlimited content. I'll never get why people cry so much. Go buy the X-Files complete series, it costs UPWARDS OF $200! I can watch the whole series and movies for $8. Not sure about you brain-dead monkies, but I'd rather pay the $8 instead of $200.
The reason I've given it 4/5 is because some shows are dated, being 3 or 4 seasons behind, and the movies are usually crappy B ones, but that's fine with me as there are plenty of TV shows to be watched.
Answer: They do not, but he can listen to stand up shows I guess
Answer: Ohh finally someone thats having the same problem... Netflix always blames my Wi-Fi but, I know thats not the problem. Considering canceling.
