Nike Reviews Summary

Nike's reputation is marked by a strong appreciation for product quality and innovative design, with many customers praising the performance and aesthetic appeal of their offerings. However, significant concerns dominate the feedback, particularly regarding customer service inefficiencies, warranty issues, and difficulties with order fulfillment and returns. Customers frequently express frustration over unresponsive support and perceived indifference to their complaints, leading to a sense of dissatisfaction and mistrust. Overall, while Nike excels in product development, its customer service approach requires substantial improvement to align with the expectations of its loyal clientele.

I never expected this from a brand like Nike. I purchased a pair of shoes that arrived with a clear manufacturing fault — both pairs had visible white glue around every edge. I wore them once and returned them immediately with full photo evidence. Despite returning them within the legal return period, Nike refused to issue a refund and claimed there was a "resolution previously communicated" — even though no explanation or resolution was ever provided. I received the same copy-paste answer repeatedly, and the case was simply closed. No accountability. No refund. No inspection details. No customer care. As a loyal Nike customer for years, this experience has made me feel ignored, dismissed, and undervalued. It's shocking that a global brand refuses to take responsibility for an obvious quality defect. I will not be shopping with Nike again, and I will be sharing this experience publicly so others are aware of how returns are actually handled — especially when the product is faulty.

DO NOT BUY Nike Gift Cards
September 15, 2025

Only after I filed a BBB complaint did Nike replace my $45 gift card — and even then, they added their boilerplate excuse about not being responsible for lost or stolen cards. I had been stonewalled by customer services and I had already heard that line multiple times and explained why it didn't apply. The card was never lost or stolen — it stayed in my possession the entire time. The PIN was still covered and not visible, so it could not have been used by anyone else before me. The receipt shows the card was purchased on 12/12/24, but Nike's own records claim it was used on 12/21/24 — before I even received it on 12/24/24. This clearly shows the problem is with Nike's gift card security system, not with the customer. Nike still denies responsibility and only replaced the gift card as a "one-time courtesy" after I involved the BBB. That's not a real resolution — it's damage control. Their system allowed unauthorized use before the intended recipient ever had access, and rather than admit fault, they tried to shift blame onto me. Buyer Beware: Nike gift cards are not secure. Even if you keep the card and PIN protected, you may find the balance gone before you ever get to use it. Nike denies responsibility and hides behind "courtesy replacements" instead of fixing their broken system. I strongly caution against buying Nike gift cards until these serious security flaws are addressed.

Shoe caused injury!
June 23, 2025

I've been a loyal Nike customer for years, but this recent experience has completely shattered my trust in the brand. I purchased a pair of Nike shoes that ended up causing a painful bruise on my ankle—a clear product issue, not a sizing or sock problem. When I reached out to Nike for support, I was met with cold, robotic responses and zero empathy. Their customer service insisted on an "inspection" process but made it clear in advance that I likely wouldn't qualify for any compensation, even before seeing the product. Let me be clear: I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable—just a gift card to replace shoes that physically injured me. I even offered to destroy the shoes and send a photo, but Nike refused. The whole process felt designed to deter customers rather than help them. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, especially from a global brand that markets itself as customer-focused and athlete-first. Nike, if you won't stand behind your products, why should anyone stand in line to buy them?

Very long delivery
June 21, 2025

I made an order on the site, it was written that it will be delivered within a week, but the delivery lasted two weeks. And of course they wrote off the money instantly, and support can't say anything objective about the delivery.

Terrible app. Don't bother
February 10, 2025

Don't purchase from Nike app. It's a waste of time. I place an order, order gets canceled without reason. I call an agent. The he agent says I must supply them with an ID number. However, I cannot add my ID number in the app or online. Then why even try sell anything? Nike app is pathetic. If you can't add ID don't buy. Support is absolutely useless. Chat bot is extremely useless. If I could give no stars I would.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! The process to speak to a manager as if they're some God, is freaking sad! You are not important that I have to go through all your unprofessional workers! All they do is hang up! Orders are not complete when arrived, and still yet, not have received my items! Tried to change a order right after I submitted, and that process is horrible too! Nike product is great, but not worth the BS you have to go through just to get some assistance from someone that can actually help!

Horrible warranty
September 25, 2024

Nike supposedly has a two year warranty but it starts when the shoe was manufactured not when you purchased it. Basically you can buy a pair today and they could be falling apart 6 months later and they will not honor the warranty if it was made over 2 years ago.How am I to know as a consumer when the shoe was manufactured? I can tell you when I purchased it how much it cost and that it's defective. They should put an expiration date on your receipt so you can shop for their product as you would milk. Both pairs are less than 2 years old

As a loyal and long-time buyer from Nike, I am appalled by the incompetence of Nike's Thailand customer service team through the Nike Apps Online. They should be held accountable for their poor performance. Despite my clear right to a 2-year warranty, they continuously refuse to honor it, demonstrating a complete lack of skill and respect for customers. This team needs to be either retrained, punished, or fired. Their refusal to address legitimate issues is unacceptable and goes against Nike's standards. Avoid dealing with Nike Thailand if you expect any real support.

Do not trust this company with your data or your money. If you are not a member, they make you pay return shipping for online orders. So a pair of shoes can cost 25% of the shoe purchase amount or more to return. The alternative is to get a membership, which they will use to sell your data and market to you, despite all of your efforts to avoid both of irritants. Their products are not worth the hype or the money. It feels like they are telling you to go f*** yourself if you don't just join the cult - er, club. No thanks. In this day and age, there are many alternatives to that criminal organization.

Imagine that Nike in Dubai is not willing to return or change my daughter sneakers that I bought for my daughter for Eid just because the maid threw the box. I mean, they have no objection to me throwing away sneakers worth 550 dirhams, just for the sake of a box.

I don't know how a famous company like Nike has a customer service that don't try to find solutions for customers only telling them the formula of the policy only super disappointed

I'm out $68 in shipping charges.
I paid $30 for overnight shipping of 2 pairs of shoes for my son who was back from college. The morning they were to arrive I got a notice that they would not be delivered until at least 2 days later after he had already left to go back to school. I used the chat feature for customer service. They blamed their carrier, not my problem...I paid for a service that Nike didn't fulfill. Asked them to cancel order, no can do I was told but I could call the carrier myself if I wanted. Next suggestion, place an identical order and they will deliver next day and I can return the original order. You're kidding me right? They were supposed to refund the $30 in shipping but a week later, I've yet to see a credit. During the course of this chat, I had to endure stupid swoosh language and toward the end of the chat, which was over 30 minutes to be told they couldn't do anything, they started trying to sell me additional merchandise. Unbelievable.

Package finally arrives in a giant box too large for 2 pair of shoes. I had to pay $38 to return the shoes.

Is just bull. I'll never purchase anything from Nike again.

I spent over $100 on this Tiger Woods Nike golf shirt and I'm wearing it one day and it starts falling apart. They put a seam in the back and then used a black piece of adhesive tape to connect the two back panels as well as the collar and the shirt literally fell apart. Nike will do nothing about it. It's the last Nike product I will ever buy. I have bought $10 shirts that have lasted longer than this $100 + shirt.

I loved Nikes since I first saw them forty plus years ago. I been a loyal and dedicated fan and customer four fifths of my life. I have purchased hundreds of pairs in my life and Jordan's, Nike and Converse for decades and am a vip customer at Nike.com. Today I bought a valentines gift card for my girl and she hated it. Five min later I called and got told I was s!&& out of luck forty years of loyalty and they couldn't refund my money no matter what I said to them. I'm beside myself with rage knowing I helped make these jerks rich being loyal to the point of exclusive to this company. I have spent 100s of thousands on these clothes only to be sniffed and made to choke down this gift card for 125 bucks. I'm so furious that I'm not even using it period I will never as long as I am alive. Forty years of spending here only to be told it don't matter j I will never use this brand again. Choking down the gidts
