Dont believe FREE SHIPPING. They get you to place an order then come back and say there will be additional shipping charges. This is a horrible company. Wasted almost a month of my time.
Just buy from Amazon. Overtons doesnt know how to run a website and its really a mess.

Waiting for item to be restocked, but what is annoying is in the meanwhile being spammed with advertising, which is difficult to block. Unsubscribe doesn't seem to work. Once I get my item I'll block the sender.
I am Pretty pissed off.
The part I received had been installed before.
It was dirty, greasy and the box was in bad shape.
I won't be sending it back because I need it now and can't wait to send it back and you ship another one out.

I have multiple gift cards with their business name on the website but they are refusing to honor them. Poor business even one of the other businesses on the card are no longer open. Absolutely poor customer service when I tried to obtain help about this as well!

Chatted with Almedine & talked to Ty for 38min 53 sec. Almedine said "instock". Ty said "not showing in stock"

Overton's has the most uninterested customer service reps I've ever experienced. Like many other reviews left here they really don't put any effort to help you. I have ordered "In Stock" items a few times and waited several weeks to receive partial orders. Still waiting on a Bimini "in stock" item for 6 weeks. When contacting customer service the answer is always the same, "It will be shipped in 2 to 3 weeks". I don't mind a delay in shipping due to the present circumstances of Covid but to continue to provide false or misleading at best statements is just bad customer service. Overton's just own it and apologize for the delay rather than continuing to mislead your customer base, its not like there aren't other companies that will be happy to take our business.
I placed my order and got an email relatively quickly confirming the details. It said I would receive another email when the order was shipped. A week later, I was wondering why I never got that email. Lo and behold, when I go onto their system to track my order, it says my order doesn't exist. I finally called and was told they had to call the warehouse and would call me right back. They didn't. But, now 12 days later, it is at least showing up as being shipped. Will I receive it? I have my doubts.
I ordered boat seats in April 2020, they took my payment instantly. Never got the seats now here it is September 2020, and I'm still waiting on a refund of my money. HORRIBLE service!
Fraud! I made the purchase thinking the item would arrive for at least one of my kids birthdays and now we've missed both. I called 2 weeks after the purchase to inquiry about my order and they sent an email thanking me for the purchase. I called after 2 more weeks to cancel the order and they sent an email thanking me for the purchase. Customer service has been horrible. NO HONESTY! DO NOT CONSIDER PURCHASING AN ITEM THAT EVEN SHOWS IN STOCK!
Perhaps less resources could be spent handling customer complaints and inquiry and use the time to actually not sell something that is not in stock... PLAY TO WIN!
Bought an anchor from company. Cost 60.89 to be shipped to home. As soon as I purchased item and was charged i RECEIVED AN EMAIL STATING IT WAS ON BACK ORDER, weeks went by with no word of purchase. I contacted store many times with no answer to phone. Finally last night I got a hold of someone on their chat they canceled the order. Said I would get a refund. Tonight I get an email saying they will credit me 7.95 back on card. They charged me $60.89. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!
I ordered an 18" mooring ball to handle 1/2" chain. After many, many unanswered calls to customer service and "chat" attempts that went unconnected, I opened a dispute with PayPal. As a result, I got a few idiotic, foolish emails apologizing about this and that, citing Covid, blah, blah, blah. 30 days into it I finally got confirmation that the order was cancelled.
Oh yeah, and there is this nonsense about contacting "Marcus" (purported executive at Overton's) if you're not happy, he's not happy. My, oh my, what a joke.
This company should be avoided at all cost. Despicable customer service, despicable lies regarding product receipt dates, and on and on.
If these folks are not out of business soon, it's a miracle.
Called to ask about an order I had purchased that was in stock. I place the order 12 days prior to calling. After waiting on hold for 32 minutes I gave up and emailed them the next day. They opted to just refund my money with no response or excuse as to why they couldn't get it shipped after 13 days. Generally Overtons was really good on shipping guess they just dont care
Forced to take delivery three months after order. They informed me a week after they claimed item was in stock to say there was a backlog. Did not allow items to be cancelled and cannot get straight answer on how to return item. Be aware of their techniques to not cancel. Also Marcus offer to return calls or emails is a joke. Never heard back. He doesn't care even though he leaves an impression he is there for the consumer.
Ordered a ski trainer for the kids who were coming to the lake in a couple of weeks... No word after a week then told 7-10 before the order would be ready to be sent out for delivery. Tried to cancel the order and was denied and advised to "send it back when it comes and pay for return shipping." Going to Paypal to cancel and then file with Better Business. The service was from a rep from Camping world... Stay away
Never received what I paid for. Ordered it the end of May 2020. It's now August The cost was 148.00. Be careful if you are thinking about ordering from them.
DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DOES NOT EXIST. ALL YOU GET IS A RECORDED MESSAGE TELLING YOU TO WAIT FOR THE NEXT AGENT. AFTER AN HOUR ON HOLD, STILL BEING TOLD TO WAIT FOR THE NEXT AGENT.
As others said I should have read reviews before buying from Overton. Been 1 week since order and after waiting 25 minutes for a customer service chat was told they could not tell me when it would ship. Upon asking for refund I was told that was not possible because the order was in the warehouse... WTF.
I hope I can get my money back.
Made $115.18 purchase on May 9. Item quality was awful. Called customer service to process a return. Waited 30 minutes before speaking to a representative. Took another 20 minutes of which 5 minutes was actually communicating and the remaining 15 minutes was more holding. On May 29, received a credit of $18.88. WTF? On June 2, called customer service - carbon copy of first call almost to the minute. Received credit of $76.31. $19.99 still outstanding. Called customer service again. Only took 25 minutes for someone to respond. Learned the $19.99 was for shipping and non-refundable because my reason for the return was "changed mind." Argued for another ten minutes to no avail.
I returned 2 life jackets. It was miserable because the lack of customer service and
NO RETURN LABELS WITH THE ORDER cost me alot of run around! So I had to send them to liberal California to camping world. They received the package because I saved receipts of shipping, YET NO REFUND! Someone who works there is double dipping and STEALING from the company...? I'm not happy and will NEVER shop here again. It was signed by APEREZ. I will follow up on this. NOPE never again, you lost my business.

Answer: Live chat seemed almost immediately available, but representatives have no power to resolve issues nor do they have any information regarding items they list. Researching the item I was after showed it had been discontinued by the manufacturer and would no longer be available, but online reps kept insisting that the item could be back ordered f I waited long enough. Maybe I'd believe them if it wasn't for the literally hundreds of reviews calling out the exact same scam. Chat Reps had snippy, dismissive attitude as noted in many, many reviews. The reps know they are working for a scam organization and they're cool with it.
