The Overton's web site sucks. I wanted to buy a custom boat cover and had to search through several pages until I found what I thought was the cover I wanted. The title sounded right, but the explanation was vague. I purchased, and it was not the right one. Called to return, but it is not a returnable item. I will assume part of the blame for this mess up, but if the site would list a cover for a specific boat, AND let you choose the options you do or don't want, I'm sure people would be confident in their purchase. As it is, there could be four or five different covers for the same boat, with different options, and they are splattered all over the boat covers section, rather than packed nicely together. It has been a while since I ordered from this company (I believe I had another problem with them in the past), and I can definitely say that this was the LAST time I will ever buy from them. No customer service, and no regard for the customer. A lot of other better places to shop.

No customer service

I purchased two boat lights on line. One will not operate. There is no way to get an exchange or refund. I have been put on hold over one hour. They never pick up. Also, they will not respond to an email.
Absolutely terrible. Are they going out of business?

Come on Marcus Lemonis, do you know what is going on there? Live Chat pops up, doesn't work for 6 weeks now. Phones, nobody ever answers, have to listen to the stupid music forever for the last 6 weeks. Who knows how long before that.

I have received two 110 V inflator pumps, both of which stopped working after 10 minutes. I have tried to contact customer service via telephone on 5 different occasions, at various times of day (including right at 8 AM) and have NEVER gotten through to anyone. The LIVE chat on their website always states it is "off line". I have sent messages via their email link and never gotten a response. Don't ever plan to return anything because no one will provide any service to you. Look for another supplier, even it it may cost a bit more. Never again Overton's!

The worst pretty much sums it up. Horrible customer service. When your order arrives taped shut start worrying. My particular order arrived with no hardware or instructions. After waiting over a half hour for customers Service's excuses, still no hardware. Excuses of vendor issues, people on vacation etc etc. Weeks later still nothing. Can't believe they are in business. Do yourself a favor and avoid these idiots.

SLOW. Ordered an "in-stock" $180 item early morning on July 1,2020. Skipped the free shipping, paid an extra $22.00 for "2nd Day Air Express." Order confirmation indicated delivery would be July 3rd. Nothing but crickets for six days, when they said the order had been shipped. More crickets. Two more days later,, got tracking they finally turned it over to FedEx, shipping via Ground- not 2nd day air paid for- and hopefully would arrive in 4 more days.
OVERTON'S DOES NOT SHIP AS PROMISED. OVERTONS CHARGES FOR 2 DAY AIR, SITS ON THE ORDER FOR OVER A WEEK, THEN SHIPS VIA GROUND, KEEPING THE EXTRA CHARGES.! AVOID!

The process for returning your order is horrible. You have to call to process a return - I called multiple times for 3 days straight (hold time >20 minutes). I emailed - no response. Finally after waiting 36 minutes someone answered.

Customer Service is non-existent. I ordered an item on June 15th. Item hasn't shipped and still states processing. Can't get through to customer service by phone or their online chat to cancel order (as I found the item I wanted somewhere else). I will not order from this company again. They charged my credit card once I ordered, so now I have to work through my bank to resolve. Really didn't have the time for this hassle.

Horrible service
July 4, 2020

Ordered a boating pull behind tube and was sent a cheaper one that was not the one I ordered. I have emailed 3 times with no response, called once and put on hold for 48min then hung up on, finally talked to a person that said they did not have the product I ordered in stock now. It has been 3 day and still waiting to get a return slip emailed to me so I can return wrong item and then get my money returned. This company is horrible and I will never order from them again. I ordered a new tube from Amazon got it on 2 days and it was $5 cheaper

Scam

I ordered an item months ago. When it was finally delivered, the wrong item was delivered. When I finally got a hold of a customer service rep, they said they didn't even have the item? Now I have to go through the process of returning a random item I never even ordered before I can get my refund.

I placed a pretty large order on April 23,2020 for 'in stock' boat seats. As of today (6/29/2020) no seats and no response to my emails asking for a shipping update. Tried to call them, and 45 minutes later I was still on hold. Now trying to get my money back!

What A Hassle

I returned an item to Overton's according to the return instructions. The package arrived at their service center a month ago, as verified by USPS tracking. I have never received credit on my card and there is absolutely no human being within their company who can or will tell me what is going on. Their chat function doesn't work. Thirty minutes on hold waiting for customer service and all I am told is that someone will email me. That was two weeks ago and (guess what?!) that has never happened. I've messaged their Facebook Page. I've called repeatedly. It isn't a ton of money, but they should not be allowed to keep it just because they are inept. Overton's used to be a great company. I've bought from them for decades. But it appears that it is now part of some corporate conglomerate and they have screwed it up royally. Avoid!

Very dishonest!

I tried to order a kayak online that states that shipping is free and then a freight charge was added. A freight charge IS a shipping charge. So shipping is not free. The official name is freight shipping. I understand why Overton's has so many bad reviews!

STILL WAITING!

Placed an order on May 26, waited a few days for a E-mail for shipping info never got one called and was told that Overton's had a 10-12 day ship policy, well day 12 and no e-mail called and was told they did not know why my package hasn't shipped yet. Ever day I get E-mail on sale that are going on but they can't send one about your order. Told them that about Marcus Lemonis "Iam not happy if you are not happy needs to change his logo cause his company sucks if they had said at check out about their shipping Iwould not have ordered. Well it's 18 days and no package but they have my Money, will never buy from this company again could have bought from Amazon but I try to give different companies my business like I do with my local business. 15 e-mails on Exclusive sales none on my order, I would have not got so mad if they would have sent update on my order that's what I told customer service. MRCUS LEMONIS I'AM NOT HAPPY

Called 8-10 times waited 30 minutes plus each time and never talked to a human being. I just wanted to know when my product was coming because I had ordered it over two weeks ago. I will never buy from this sorry company ever again. They lack people communication skills, the the customer is why they are in business, but unfortunately not for long with the service they offer.

Items that were ordered and paid for were not shipped. I tried to call customer and found it doesn't exist. I even tried to call the number to order items and no one answered. You would think they would at least pick up the phone if someone is trying to put an order in. I used to deal with this company years ago with good results. Things have changed. This company is so substandard I don't believe I'll ever get the missing items. The next call is to my credit card company to look for a resolution.

I paid $30 for overnight shipping on a Thursday. It is now the following Wednesday and my item still says it's hasn't shipped. I sat on the phone for 15 minutes only to be redirected to exactly where I started my phone call and waited another 10 minutes before hanging up. I've sent 2 emails with no response. Next step is to call the bank and stop payment.

So it seems they only have a few items actually "in stock" I ordered a Taylor Made dock box on May 7th, as of the 21st still no shipping notification. Emailed them, no reply, ended up having to contact them via social media to get some form of response. Got a call that the item had shipped and should be here May 26th. Beware that when an item on their site says "in stock" it's actually not, it ships directly from the manufacturer. Which would have been fine if I was told this. Also ordered a vacuum sealer they claimed was in stock, had to call again to check on it and it has not shipped 10 days after ordering, yet they claim it is at their warehouse. The person on their chat said they have no way of tracking the order once it goes to the warehouse. What a joke. Buyer beware. FYI. Ordered something from Boat Outfitters and in less than 24 hours received multiple communication emails about the order, shipping and tracking. Much more organized and well run company.

Not at all worth ordering from this company! They are insanely slow at processing and shipping orders! The worst company to deal with in my opinion! I have called every day to see what is going on with my order and the customer service people at Overtons lie and lie and lie about the status of the order -- every day for the past week I have called to see if my order has shipped out and the customer service dept at Overtons has told me that my order was going to ship out "tomorrow". I placed my order at Overtons.com 10 days ago and they have not even shipped out my order yet. Stick with Amazon and/or any other company. Dealing with Overtons has been horrible thus far. Ridiculous to place an order for items that say are in stock on the Overtons website and here I am still waiting for them to even ship out the items I ordered 10 days ago. Who knows when my items will actually arrive at my house, but 10 days after ordering in-stock items, and this horrible company has not even shipped the items out yet?! So not worth dealing with this company!
