I downloaded the trial & paid $1.95. It did not work for me. So I canceled prior to the charge. But they still charged my card $49.95. I contacted them via chat bot. I explained what happened & they refunded me $45 of the $45.95. Evidently this service is mostly for businesses. The chat bot was very helpful.

They will offered a great price at the beginning with a subscription behind as a ghost. DO NOT BUY IT. They will charge even more of what they say at the start point without your consent. When you request a cancellation they will tell you everything was told at the beginning of the purchase. Not true, it only says at 14 days trial and pay for the first service as I did.

I called to cancel the initial plan but Alexander Lambis, the rep, gave me a better price since it is only me using PDFSimpli for e-sign. I got a much better price. I will try it out for a month and see how it goes but the rep answered the phone quickly and helped me out. Thank you Alexander!

I accessed this service to convert 1 document. I was in a high-stress situation, so some responsibility could be laid with my frame of mind. I thought I was paying a one-off fee (of £1.95) for 14 days' access. However, somehow I'd missed the very small print that I was in fact signing up to a £49.95 monthly subscription. To make matters worse, I did not receive an email to acknowledge that I had subscribed, so I was unaware untuiol the payment left my PayPal account. I emailed PDFSimpli, and they did not offer any refund. SO I had to contact my bank and PayPal, which took a considerable amount of time and effort. To put things right PDFSimpli could have easily refunded me, but chose not to; it was obvious from my 'account' activity I used it once and never revisited the site. I won't be recommending this service to anyone.

I had one PDF to convert. I was led to believe that I could do it for free.
I subsequently found that my PayPal account had been debited by $1.45, and then later by $49.95.
Having messaged this organisation, requesting my money back, I have not got a refund, or a reply.

If I could give the company 0 Stars I would. I did a Google search for an online service that could convert different files and file formats into one PDF document. I found PDFSimpli that stated the service was free. I uploaded all of my documents and made sure that they were in the correct order for the final PDF document. This process took about 30 minutes. I clicked on a button that said convert and a pop-up came up basically saying that I could pay $1.95 to get the file immediately or wait 24 hours. Because I needed the document by the end of the day I opted to pay the $1.95 to get that 1 document not realizing I was signing up for a monthly subscription. I never used the service again or logged into the account again. I used it that one time to get that 1 document converted. I have now paid a total of $1,078.65 for this one document and the company refuses to refund me and has only offered to give me 1 month of this subscription back. Furthermore they are based out of Puerto Rico so they are immune to any lawsuits. My only recourse is through the bank and so far they have not been very helpful. I would not recommend doing business with an unscrupulous company like this unless you want problems and headaches.

We understand it can be frustrating to realize a subscription was active for an extended period, but as with any recurring plan, it is the customer’s responsibility to manage or cancel it in a timely manner. As for refunds, we have already extended goodwill beyond the standard policy. While we regret that you did not reach out earlier, we cannot reasonably refund charges for over a year of an active subscription that was neither canceled nor disputed at the time.

Should cancellation not be initiated, billing will continue as per the agreed terms, which must be accepted prior to commencing the trial. PDF Simpli works with a user based system in which every user must choose the trial plan where it is explained that the account is for 14 days and due to an automatic renewal upon not canceling within the trial period. Also, every customer receives these details in the email once the account is created.
