We pass by Petco Unleashed a few times a week and I have to stop in with my furbabies at least once a week to pickup treats, grooming supplies, toys and to checkout the latest fashions. My furbabies loves to go shopping. We love the customer service. They are knowledgeable and friendly. They are definitely animal lovers. A couple of towns over there's a really big Petco where there's a grooming salon. I have 2 bichon frise and they do a fantastic job on their afros, nails and teeth. We are very happy with the service. The furbabies are excited to shop for TREATS.

Took my dog to petco. Had an appointment with "the most experienced groomer, 20 years experience". Discussed my prior experience at a different petco, told her that the dog was shaved, not trimmed, and that I wanted dog bathed, and his "feathering" trimmed and shaped. Came back to find my dog completely shaved. No feathers,, very uneven, clearly, no scissor was used, just a shaver every where. Lost all of his personal look. Terrible job. Did not listen at all. Her response to my dissapointment, "but I did just what the last groomer did"

I have 25 animals I care for. 4 are dogs and 8 are cats (5 strays). I've priced getting in the car, going to a store, buying the supplies I need, driving back, etc. In time and money, Petco is actually less costly and light-years more convenient. It all comes right to the door - automatically - just when I need it! I haven't seen the inside of a pet store in years! Check it out!

While I love our local store, I'd advise you to steer away from ordering online. I ordered some pet toothpaste (peanut butter flavor) that dried like cement in my dog's hair when she got her ears involved while I was brushing her teeth. I ended up having to cut the dried toothpaste out of her hair. I complained, told them the whole story, and what was the customer service's response? Here are some more brands you can also buy and try (after already spending $12.99 plus shipping). No offer to refund if I returned the unused portion of the tube, no exchange, no apology, nothing. Their attitude was not what I expected at all. They don't stand behind their products online, which is not true of the brick and mortar store.

Very unhappy with Petco. My cat loves to go outside & has recently caught fleas. Went to Petco & purchased their "Advantage Flea & Tick Treatment Shampoo for Cats & Kittens." Used it on my cat & it almost killed her. She was dry heaving & coughing up foam. I had to give her a stomach neutralizer to get the poison out of her stomach. I'm so upset that they would have such a poisonous product on their shelf. The main ingredient in the shampoo is Pyrethrins. Use it on your cat and it causes seizures, makes them foam at the mouth, vomit, muscle spasms, and (apparently very regularly) death. How can they even sell a product like this in stores?

Looked into other reviews online & on MULTIPLE occasions the pet died from using this. Unbelievable that this corporation is more concerned about making their next dollar then what is in their products. If you actually cared about animals, products like this wouldn't be on your shelf.

Will not shop at Petco ever again. Will be choosing the local, all natural neighborhood pet store where they actually care what ingredients we give to our animals.

By the way, the flea shampoo didn't even work.

Honestly its for the Cedar Rapids Store seems like every time I have gone there the employees are rude the last time I was there I was looking to buy my child a guinea pig they were on sale so I was very interested in buying but first of all if I'm gonna buy an animal I want to have interaction with it before I buy make sure it is gentle and not mean because I don't want my child bit the employee said I couldn't hold it unless I was 100% buying it and walked away I didn't get to explain my reason she just assumed I didn't want one this is not the only time Ive had them walk away while I am asking questions that was the last time I plan on going to that store I spend A LOT when I'm in pet stores but I refuse to in a place that has terrible customer service I prefer to go to Pet Smart so glad they are friendly and take their time with their customers!
