After 3 months of waiting and constantly having to call pool supply world daily for my pool to be delivered it finally arrived. It was missing a part to put the pool together. I called today and they said that part was cancelled. They said it was due to it being out of stock for the year. I would be getting a refund for that part. They didn't inform me of this and I have been waiting for a week for the missing part. I am absolutely discussed with how this business is being ran. I have been so patient and understanding in process. This seems so unexcusable to me. They tried to tell me that that there are no supervisors I can talk to. Every time I get told I will get a call back I never do. I have spoken to countless employees over the past 3 months. I have to wait on hold for at least 30 minutes each time I call. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY! I really wish I would have read the reviews before ordering from them. I am so outraged at this point I can't even tell you everything I want to in this review that has happened in the last 3 months. Extremely poor costumer service. They do not get back to you on anything. They leave you on hold for a half hour and when the pick up they hang up. Then I have call back to talk to someone else and they transfer me to wait on hold again. They don't ship all of your order and cancel items without telling you. They take months to ship products and they when you are left with half of your order and the rest is out of stock it's your problem. They are the worst! I will be going to the better business bureau about this and I will be leaving reviews where ever I can about this awful business
We ordered a pool ladder over 2 months ago. They took their money asap but didnt ship ladder for over a month later. When we finally recieved the ladder there were pieces missing. I called and emailed multiple times with no luck. Finally get ahold of someone and they were supposed to help either get parts or refund either of which was another 10 day wait. It was actually easier to file a dispute with paypal or the cc company to get a refund than dealing with these i competetent people. I understand covid but this expierience was absolutely ridiculous avoid doing bussiness with them at all costs if possible
Ordered a pool filter cartridge from Pool Supply World. They shipped me the wrong cartridge. Took me almost one month and a least a dozen calls to their totally ineffective customer service department to finally get a return authorization label. Still have not received a credit. These are crocked operators if you need help. You can get a return and credit from Amazon in 5 minutes so why does Pool Supply World make it so hard?. Warning: do not buy from these illegitimate frauds.
I ordered 4 new pool filters on June 20th (it's July 25th). I've not received them or received a shipping confirmation. After 3 weeks, I emailed them to check on the status of my order (as I understand that COVID has put production behind for many companies). They emailed me back stating they would look into it and email me within 5 business days. I never heard anything else. I emailed them again a week later and still got nothing. I paid with PayPal so I tried making a claim through there which begins with yet again, contacting the company. It's been over a week and I've still gotten no response. I officially just bumped my claim up to go through PayPal instead of them. I'm hoping to at least get my money back. I'll never be ordering from them again.
I ordered a ladder that stated that it would ship within 24 to 48 hours. That was not the case. I cancelled the order and it has been since 6/21/20 and I still have not received my money back. There is no reason it should take this amount of time to refund my money. I will tell everyone to NEVER use this site or this company.
I have used them for several years and they were awesome. Since March 2020, they have failed completely. Didn't receive chemicals. Never shipped. Chat line is useless. Can't talk to a real person. On hold for literally hours. Never responded to emails. I had to go through my credit card company to get my money back. Won't buy from again. I wish they had minus stars.
I am so very dissatisfied with this company. I ordered a Polaris pool cleaner that was advertised to adapt to any in ground pool which is a false statement. I had to pay a pool service to advise me this Polaris was not compatible for my pool. I contacted the company with a delayed response. When I finally received a response I was told I had to contact the Polaris company. I tried numerous attempts to contact this company and left numerous messages without success. When I contacted this company again I was told it was past the 30 day return policy and they could not help me. This is a scam.
Above ground metal frame pool was faulty. Pool Supply World did not allow a return even though the manufacturer of Intex was hard to get in touch with. Do not buy from them unless you want a major hassle! Their customer service is horrible and they definitely do not value their customers!
I ordered a new pump for my hot tub on a Sunday. Ten minutes later realized that I ordered the wrong pump. I called immediately to cancel it and was told it was to late or had already shipped and now I have to pay to ship it back and pay a restocking fee. UFB.
I've been going through this for about a month now. As of 7/20, I'm still waiting on my refund. I whole heartily agree with Travis P. About this company. Try to stay away from this company because they don't keep their word, my restock fee was suppose to be waive but that didn't happen. The wait is long but I was determined to wait it out, be prepare to wait at least 11/2 hr. You would think someone was really looking at these reviews to improve this horrible company but all they want is your money and act like they don't want to give it back. I wish I could have given it a half of star, get your act together.
Ordered pool filters! Never got them! Wish I knew what to do to get others to stop buying here. There should be a way to stop jerks like this! Wish I had been smart enough to do my research before I ordered! How many terrible reviews can a company get and still survive.
I bought from them a couple of times because they have the cheapest price and free shipping. HOWEVER, they sell outdates and even opened stuff without telling you, and in general they don't allow return or replacement unless you're willing to pay a hefty restocking fee. My most recent purchase was a 3L PhosFree. I made a mistake in the order and emailed them the next day asking for a replacement. They said it's already shipped, asked me to contact FedEx. I called FedEx, but they haven't got the item. So I called PoolSupplyWorld. This time they simply said no replacement, no return unless a $25 restocking fee. When the item arrived, I realized why they could sell at a lower price, because the seal was open! I had a previous experience with them and it was no better. So I have decided not buy from them anymore. If you're really enticed by their price and free shipping, you might buy some equipment but absolutely no chemicals, test strips, etc. that could expire. I'd rather to pay a little bit more at Amazon or other places where I know I can get basic customer service and also not be scammed by open product.
After waiting almost a month after it was supposed to be delivered. They cancelled my order. I promised my kids a pool and these fools don't even respond to your emails. If you call them they can't help you. THEY ARE NOT A POOL STORE BUT INSTEAD A DROP SHIPPER WITH BS PICTURES TO MAKE YOU BELIEVE THEY ARE. So now middle of july no one has this item and my kids have no pool. Thanks a lot A**HOLES.
Horrible customer service. I ordered a replacement DE filter Unit on June 10. Apparently Fedex lost the item and it has been in PA since June 13. I finally cancelled the order on June 21 and asked for a refund. So far it has been over 3 weeks and there has been no refund despite several callswhere you have to wait on hold for 60-90 minutes just to get to talk to someone, and emails that have never had any response. Totally inexcusable in my opinion.
Purchased a Pool Blaster Max, the day I received it the blaster did not work very well- so I call the pool Supply World which is co owned by Leslie's Pools to ask for a return and purchase the commercial grade pool cleaner. It has been over a month and after being on hold for over a hour at a time and speaking with 6 different people all that put the blame on someone else and promising me someone would contact me and send a return tag- as of today no one has contacted me or called-so i contacted my credit card company to get a refund- do not do business with these people- its all a scam
I order a pool pump 12 days ago with no response as to when I would get it. I emailed twice... no response. I called and stayed on hold for 30 minutes and they told me it was back ordered for 5 weeks... NO CALL, NO EMAIL, NO CONTACT! Horrible way to do business and expect to keep customers. STAY AWAY! By the way... no physical address should have warned me... no local phone number... no google business account... no yelp account. Are they trying to stay stealth or hide?
I ordered a simple pool filter cartridge replacement that is taking forever to arrive to me. I phoned the company and after waiting a long time on hold, the customer service rep told me there would be a delay of a few weeks or so because it was coming rom the manufacture and because of Covid-19. I placed the order on June 21,2020 and still do not have it. I told the rep that I just wanted a refund. She said she had to request it and that I would get and email. To this day, I have still not received an email about any refund. I am currently on a call with customer service and have been on hold for over 35 minutes. This is horrible service and I will never order from this company again. I don't know how they are still in business with all the reviews that I have read. GIVE ME MY PRODUCT OR MY MONEY BACK PLEASE!
We ordered a ladder that said it could be mounted to the deck of our above ground pool and was adjustable. It was neither but since we had to take it out of the box and assemble it to discover it was unusable, they are refusing to take it back and refund our money! I will never use this company again and will warn anyone I know to stay away! If they can't back their products, what good is a cheap price?
I placed an order on May 2nd. Its now July. I called, emailed, fb messaged and was told once they would email me tracking and didnt even do that. I contacted the better business Bureau and pool supply world never responded to them. I never received a refund. Do not give them your money.
I recently ordered a set of grid filters for my in ground pool and found a really good price from Pool Supply World. I purchased the item and waited about 10 days before it finally arrived. When I opened the box only 7 of the 8 filters were inside. I immediately call the help desk and wait for 45 minutes before someone could help me. Once I get a customer service rep to finally pickup, she says that she will file a ticket for me and I will need to wait 5 to 6 business days for someone to call me back. It is summer time and I have opened up my filter and need to complete my replacement of the grids. I decide to purchase one grid from Leslie's Pool Supply for $45 (what a rip-off). I figure I will return the grid that I assume will be sent out from Pool Supply World and take it back to Leslie's for a refund. Well I finally get an email from PSW ONE MONTH LATER stating that they want me to send a picture of the box that had the filters in it. Okay, well I actually did take a picture before removing them from the box, so no problem. After sending the picture of the 7 grids and a paragraph explaining what happened, they reply back that they are sending a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) so I can ship the entire order back to them. Did you not read the information I sent you? Please do yourself a favor and buy from someone who understands what customer service means! I am out $45, but if I save someone the headache I have had, it is well worth it!

Answer: I never received my Raypak after waiting 10 weeks. It took about an additional 3 weeks and numerous phone calls to get my refund.
Answer: Pricing was slightly better -- In the end, totally NOT worth it. I imagine if everything would have gone well it could have been a positive experience? However, if you have any issues, this may be the worst company on the planet to do business with. Horrible customer service!
