Yeah right the very next day I was thrown into a higher bracket as they knew many weeks had zero hard brakes but depending on sir Tustin
If they got 4 hard brakes in a week they wanted thst on your record
And by no means warm your car up on a cold winter night. If you let it run 30 minutes to drive 5 miles home
It will list you as taking 35 minutes to drive 5 miles
And if it is after 10 pm it is a dangerous time of the night. Thank god your car don't get car jacked. Progressive would likely seek the death penalty for the owner

I also switched C C cards for billing once
One day after I did it
They discontinued my auto pay and charged me 39.00 to do it
Plus raised my premium 15% for dropping auto pay
And of course they never tell you why. They just do it. It wasn't until I canceled and asked how I could have a premium due that I found out. That's why I hate giving some places my C C to steal as they like. Progressive is one of the worst

It's a bait n trap company
Have ma neighbor trees lifting my fence, and progressive was Incapable of calling my neighbors insurance to remove the trees. Rather they refused they're responsibility to protect my property. Progressive is a scammer. Never buy their services, on the web they cover and pay for averting, when you need them, you are at your own. Stay away of them.

- June 13.2022 Passenger / car right side mirror was damaged ( assuming hit by shopping cart) at Target before 940 AM.
- Took pictures, called and, send to the AGENCY ( CRADDOLPH INSURANCE) *******689 No answer
- June 14.2022 called PROGRESSIVE *******499 filled claim & received case #
- June15.2022 received introductory SMS. With AGENT NAME Lenore Marciano as point of contact & phone #
- June 15.2022 spoke with agent and she highlited her concern that Im new policy holder, I have been with Progressive since 2016. I changed from direct engagement on line to an AGENCY ( CRADDOLPH) since I get same coverage for -500 less in deductible so for 4 years I paid insurance for 1000 deductible over and above quoted rates by AGENCY.
- Send pictures incident showing damages mirrors, sheâ€Âll, and handle, AGENT ( MARCIANO) asked for video of the location on their portal, i accommodated the request
- June 16.2022 received call and email with estimate DECLINING ANY REPAIR & REPLACEMENT COST since they PROGRESSIVE RECIEVED FROM THEIR BODY SHOP WAS BELOW 500 USD.
- I searched the body shop info. It was BOGUS, DOES NOT EXIST in LAS vegas and itS salvaged CHOP SHOP parts in HENDERSON
In addition ALL PARTS QUOTED were NOT AVAILABLE AND SHOP Personal advised me they were pressured BY PROGRESSIVE to supply PARTS ONLY QUOTES WITH TOTAL BELOW 500 USD. ( see my email attachments for further details).
- PROGRESSIVE AGENT MARCIANO shared that fine prints on the policy permitting them to use salvaged parts not MERCEDES PART and I should solicit legal advise.
BOTTOM LINE, DO NOT EVER ACCEPT PROGRESSIVE …ITS FRAUD
Absolute trash, I've been paying into insurance my entire life without making a claim. Im 31 years old and some dumbo breaks 2 of my windows out and robs us and damages our brand new car. I Would love for our insurance company have our backs when something like this happens but it's been an absolute nightmare. Our claims rep doesn't respond to us for 5 days. They cant find anyone to fix our car for another 3 months. They cover a rental for 30 days at $40 a day. Sweet I should be able to get a motorcycle with that. Now I have 3 kids and am Carless. I've paid over $20,000 in insurance in my life and this is what I got out of it. Do yourself a favor and get insurance from someone else.
Customer service doesn't listen. I set up my policy for a one time draft and asked the agent to send me a reminder of when it was due. I didn't want a monthly draft. Twice they sent drafts to my bank. Then charged me when the bank declined it. I spoke with customer service and told them I never gave the agent permission for a monthly draft. Progressive was trying to charge me a $20.00 fee for the declined draft. I told them I'm not paying it. They can accept next months payment at what it's supposed to be or I'd dump them. The agent was apparently ok with me letting them go so I said see ya. Insurance companies are a dime a dozen so Flo can kiss my $#*!
Progressive insurance has poor customer service and is hands down the MOST EXPENSIVE insurance out there. (At least for my policies. I had 2.1 motorcycle and 1 motorhome. I have a clean record and I was paying almost $400/mo for the 2 policies for a long time. Then I took my policies to state farm, I git the EXACT same policies on both vehicles and am now paying a total of $82/mo. When I called Progressive to cancel the policies I had to pay another $150 to cancel them. So canceling my rip off policies cost me almost as much as 2 months coverage with a REAL insurance company. Don't waste your money with Progressive unless your record is so bad noone else will cover you.
The claims process has been horrible the people that hit me did not file a claim so I had to file a claim the claims adjusters did not act swiftly they finally had to threaten the people that hit me they would cancel their insurance if they didn't comply then the adjuster took another week in order use parts unacceptable because I am the person that was hit I wasn't even in the vehicle they were in the tent of driving do not by progressive insurance and hopefully you'll never have to file a claim with them
15 year loyal customer here. After being involved in a total loss accident where I was not at fault, they tried to lowball me with a pathetic payoff amount on a brand new vehicle after no communication for 2 weeks. When I disagreed with the payoff and hired my own appraiser they stopped all communication. What horrible customer service! Do not choose progressive!
I would say Progressive is just your typical, no frills car insurance company with decent customer service. However, their pricing is way too expensive. They only rewards drivers with clean records. I would shop around for cheaper polices as they are there to be had. Nothing special about this company at all.
Progressive markets itself as a company that will provide you with competitive pricing, however, once you insure your vehicle or house with them their rates will INCREASE AT EVERY RENEWAL.
My insurance rate was almost doubled without ANY reason (I made no changes of any kind to my driving).
Unreal that Insurance companies are allowed to this (all in the name of money!). NOT TRUSTWORTHY.

Progressive insurance is a scam inusrance company. They will take your money month after month. Then we you have an acutal claim occur such as a windshield crack from a bird strike they will deny your claim and say you are a fraud in order to not repair your vehicle. What is the point of having insurance if they will not ever cover damage on your car. I can imagine if you have an actual collision they told me they would not cover this either that I would have to pay out of pocket for everything. Stay far away from progressive. They are the worst insurance company in the USA. Avoid like the plague.
I have multiple policies with Progressive. In less than a year they raised my homeowners insurance by $ 438.00. Without one claim. The excuse was my house valued more in less than a year... these people are giving cheap rates only to raise them when they got you... Flo must be raising her salary... I dumping them ASAP.
After the res umbrella company aka Travelers increased my insurance there times because I decline to use their driving app "intellidrive" I went to Progressive a completed their online application. They gave me a $642 quote for 6 months. When I asked them if they were going to increase my quote as Travelers did they told me they were going to ask me to send proof of insurance and base on how long I was with the "other insurance" they will adjust my quote. That means insurance companies are working with each other to take money out of the drivers with any stupid excuses like not using their driving app or changing carriers when they increase their prices three times higher like Travelers did. What a rip-off of progressive car insurance. The advertising in the picture is deceiving as if you lower the price it also lowers your coverage.
So I chatted with someone. Wrote into them also and even called. When I chatted with their team member she assured me that they would stop my direct debit and change my due date. It was not stopped. I emailed and asked them to cancel my policy and received an email from them asking me to confirm my address and DOB and something else. I responded that I will not as they should have this information but wanted a supervisor to contact me.
Needless to say, they canceled my policy and no return call and they overdrew my account.
We have called 9 times to reach Jon Ousterout who left his name on our previous BBB claim. He didnt reply back. Finally we caught him on phone, he was very rude and unprofessional. He didnt keep his promises to solve the claim. We have lost very much income from our productive business hours for an unprofessional company Progressive. Therefore we are awaiting an apology call from Tricia Griffith for her unprofessional worker Jon Ousterout and a compensation for our lost income. If we dont receive a call from Tricia Griffith, we will be glad to publish our bad experience with Progressive online.
We had auto insurance with Progressive for 8 days until we found another company that provided the same coverage for $1200 less! So I canceled my Progressive policy and went with the other company. Progressive now is charging a $50 cancellation fee (I guess because they're not competitive) as well as a $5 "Other Fee" (guess this is for the annual office Christmas party). When i called to question the overall bill, I asked them if there were and cancellation or other fees in it (I typically ask questions I already know the answer to). The customer service person said definitely not. So not only are they not competitive, they lie about the specific charges in the bill.
These extra charges amount to pure EXTORTION! If I were to do this to another person, I'd be in jail.
I have had progressive auto insurance for about 4 years and paid around $110 a month for below average coverage on our 09' Toyota Highlander. I recently made a claim for coverage on our front windshield which is a $0 deductible in the state of Florida. Progressive denied our claim due to a technicality. My first thought was how could an insurance deny a claim for around $200 when I pay them $1,400.00 a year for coverage and have NEVER made any claims? I spoke with the glass claim supervisor by the name of Jamey Smith. He told me that he would think about it over the weekend and get back to me. After chasing him down for almost a week he finally returned my call and was sorry to say that they would not pay for my windshield replacement. I found that Farm Bureau Insurance will provide more coverage on our car for about 40% less money. Please don't use Progressive Insurance or you will find yourself being lied to and searching for an honest and reliable Insurance company to cover your car too. #never1claimin4years
Signed up and was quoted a price and then was charged $30/month more. I would say it was pure bait and switch. I was able to cancel it but what a hassle. I don't know if this a normal practice but felt pretty shady. They were given all accurate info from the beginning then charged my card more without explanation.
Progressive is No 1 Crooked Insurance Company in the United States. I had Collision insurance. My car had scratches damage and when I filed claim, I was told by Progressive Reperesentative that there will be multiple claims and each claim will have a $500 deductible. Long story short, my car had $4345. 00 cost of damage and Progressive wanted to pay me only $200.
Answer: It depends on your questions. In my experience you will be transferred until you get lucky with someone to help you. Look for another company.
