Father's day hero

I order a jacket for my spouse. It go delivered on time. Someone stole it off my porch. I called Ralph Lauren and they saved the day! They replaced the jacket, paid for expedited shipping and gave me a 15% discount for my inconvenience! I can't thank them enough!

I had an awful experience with Ralph Lauren in January 2016. I bought a windbreaker jacket online as a gift. The jacket was not on sale, it cost approx. $250 AUD. Unfortunately we needed a smaller size, so I tried to go online through their 'contact us' page to clarify the exchange process. However, the 'submit' button on thier contact us page didn't work. Then I tried to look for a number to call, but they provide only a '1-800' # which you cannot call internationally!

So I find the companies email address on a form I had and email them my concerns about contacting them (as i was a bit concerned that all options to get in touch didn't work... not very professional!). They replied, quite quickly, and in their email they state:
"Ralph Lauren does not have an exchange policy, please return the item for a full refund and re-purchase the item". Although this is very disappointing. The clincher is, when you return the item they charge an 'international return fee' of $25 AUD! So basically I'm unfairly treated for purchasing online!

I email back and let them know i'm extremely disappointed about this, and question I why should pay an international fee for returning the item when I purchased the item in Australia?! I asked for my query to be escalated to a manager and for someone to give me a call... no one ever replied to my email. And as a clincher, they advise that if i have any questions i can call their '1-800' #. Grrr!

Can we just think about this for a sec... a top designer, high end prices, and an expectation of quality customer service... does not have an exchange policy, does not realise that international buyers cannot call a 1-800 #s, and penalises people for shopping online?!

And to top it all off, they end all their emails with the standard line "We look forward to providing you with the legendary service you have come to expect from RalphLauren.com.au" - AS IF, just make sure you have no issues!

I will never buy another Ralph Lauren product because of this experience and I caution all those who might want to buy a Ralph Lauren product online.

Disappointing Quality
February 16, 2016

Based on the name, I was thrilled to get a RL down coat on sale late last year. Although it was marked down, I still happily paid a pretty penny for it. Imagine my surprise, when I noticed that some of the threads had begun to snap and come apart. I've only just started wearing it!

In any case, a friend who sews and who is studying to be a seamstress took a look and declared it to be cheap thread that was used. Really!? Again. Not a cheap coat! I should also mention that I purchased it at a quality store - not one where I would expect a knock off. No more RL for me!

On a business trip in Milan I visited brand store of Ralph Lauren and made a number of purchases, including 2 shirts Ralph Lauren (Polo Ralph Lauren Custom Fit 16 1/2) for myself and as a present to my business partner, who was expected anniversary.
Relying on unconditional quality of exclusive brand Ralph Lauren, I gave to my business partner this shirt as an anniversary gift.
After a short time, this business partner sent to me a letter of gratitude for the gift with photos of just unpacked shirt. My surprise and shame had no bounds when I saw in the photo the hole on the presented shirt Ralph Lauren. And not just a hole, but mended hole in the shirt, which has packed and sold as new!
Such case is outrageous and unacceptable for such an exclusive brand like Ralph Lauren, and gives reason to doubt the quality of products in the future.
Usually in the first-class boutiques of such brands as Ralph Lauren, customers can afford to themselves not to open packed shirt in the store and check its quality. I assumed, that giving the company a permanent preference, I has the right to return the trust of Ralph Lauren about the quality and service, about what I wrote to an official representation of the company. Now I'm waiting for comments from the famous brand for about 6 month..

Ordered boots online and the next day they went on sale. When I called to ask for an adjustment, I was not even done asking when the rep. Was already giving me the credit.
Now, that's good customer service.
They are in my "favorites".
Good job, Ralph Lauren.

Love Ralph Lauren swimwear and crochet coverups. I own just about every crochet and solid style. Quality is amazing. I love the water so I spend alot of time boating and swimming. So beautiful and comfortable.

Purchased a polo shirt from Ralph Lauren online when it arrived it was too small I've got 4 other Ralph Lauren polo shirts all the same size/style but for some reason this one is too small but they refuse to change it as it's from the create your own range would never buy from them again

WHAT THE $#*!

Honestly i shop for all my clothing online, i go to about 10+ websites for clothing and have never EVER had a problem. I have always been able to return things within the week and gotten my return or refund ASAP. But with Ralph Lauren i could not even track my return package and it took OVER 7 days for them to tell me they received it. Now its been 4 days since they processed my return and i'm still waiting on my refund. As a student who loves clothing i would tell you to RUN to the hills with this company online. Without my refund i still have to wait to finish my shopping and it's very frustrating. I have called several times and they say i need to wait the full 14 days and while i explained to them it has been over that time they were not very helpful and just confirm if i wanted my money back or credit? In-store i have no idea what their service is like but online it is complete and utter trash. I will never shop here again and hope you don't aswell. I have never written a review for a company because i have never been this mad. Ralph Lauren truly does not have a good online shopping experience please think twice before checking out.

Till date no one replied to my 2 emails!
Ralph Lauren has debited the full price / amount while the item is not available in the store, This issue has been happened twice. The first time was on 27 Jan 2015 (Order Number *******316) and the second time on 14 Feb 2015 (order number *******455). And the amounts still held.

Tried to return a gift

Tried to return a gift. Stated it was a gift and they sent the item back saying they couldn't find the order on my profile. That is some crappy customer service when I followed their instructions exactly. I hope I never receive a gift from this website again and I certainly would not buy anything from them.

I have loved Ralph Lauren clothing for as long as I can remember. With that being said, the online customer service lacks the same quality as the clothes. Why does an exchange or refund take 12 BUSINESS DAYS?! I shipped an item from Atlanta to North Carolina and was told that it coulb be 3 weeks before they process the exchange. When you spend over $300 for items, you dont expect to have to wait a month for an exchange to be processed! I was told they only receive items in bulk, in other words they wait for a large amount of items to come in before they will process any returns. That is unacceptable for a company of its caliber. The company doesn't wait 12 business days to take my money for a purchase, so why should it take 12 business days for me to get my money or my product!

Lots of issues with shipping on the orders or quality items. The customer service never answers their emails so do not even bother. By the time you reach them, the item you want is usually out of stock, so pick up the phone right away and insist. The best "solution" I have ever been offered was a refund, still having to ship back the wrong item received for which they did not even offer a home pick up, and a meager $20 gift card. Usually, throughout my many problematic orders with them, there were no gift cards given out even when the mistake was theirs and I could not get the item I selected (out of stock) because of their incompetence. I do not understand how the company is still alive. I am definitely looking for a new online retailer to shop at.

I like my blazer very much. It is a typical Ralph Lauren product. It doesn't wrinkle easily and feels great when I'm wearing it. I should have ordered one size larger though, this fits small.

Ralphlauren.com claimed to have delivered the full package. However, there were missing items and they refused to refund or re-deliver, instead insisting on complete innocence. Customer service was completely useless and incompetent. Do not buy or buy at your own risk. A total scam, AVOID.

I have been a longtime fan of the clothes, but my results with using this site have been rather disappointing. Ive had one order where the wrong size was sent (correct size was on the packing list) and two orders where I received the wrong item altogether (although both times the packing list info was correct). The most recent time, by the time I received and returned the incorrect item, the item I wanted had since sold out. Very disappointing.
