Lousy customerservice. Ordered a custom made shirt with swedish flag to be picked up at my hotel when I was to arrive. When I arrived at the UK, the very same day in the evening I got an email that the shirt havn't been able to be delivered by UPS because I wasnt on the hotel when they tried to deliver it. Lousy. I was to give another deliveryaddress and it would take another 3 working days. In 3 working days I was in sweden again. The Customer Service or UPS didnt even bother to look up when I was to arrive (2+ days) or even inform me of the fact that I had to be present.
40 year plus customer who collects Polo men's shirts and sweaters. I think the pima cotton sweaters are spectacular EXCEPT for this year's additions.
Never have I seen such poor quality from Ralph Lauren. The material and workmanship from China is terrible. Extremely thin cotton was used... friends who compared this year to last say that the material is at least 50% thinner, doesn't hang well as it wrinkles and loses shape.
What a waste of money on a product that usually is first rate.
And the company, when contacted, sent only a standard form reply.

I ordered an expensive pullover, but it was too small.
I sent an item for exchange for a size larger, they confirmed they have received the return but never sent me the item nor refunded me the money.
I called a few times, they keep telling me to call back & they will check. It has been over 6 months. I want my money back or the item back! Thieves
I bought a floor lamp cost 500+ without lamp shade delivered. The customer assistance promise to ship out a new one after retaining the revised address.
However, they didn't retain the lamp shade that I bought, nor did they inform me this product is going to be discontinued. After knowing that I am a foreigner, and the item has been shipped overseas. Returning may cost me even more than the price I bought the lamp. They still insist on returning for credit; otherwise, there's no refund/partial refund.
Worst customer service.
They sent me a wrong item and still charged me for a return shipping. They said they would credit the shipping charge but never did. I had to call many times to follow up as I wasn't seeing the charge and one of their customer service reps hang up on me in the middle of the conversation. Their stuff are made of cheap material but prices are not cheap.
Definitely one of worst online shopping experience. Make me feel like ordering from a crook.
* No confirmation email after online order. Not even sure if the order was placed afterwards.
* It took them more than 3 weeks to ship the order, another week for delivery.
* No date was shown on the attached invoice.
* Quality of shirts is much worse than expected, color mismatch.
* Had to return due to the low quality and wrong color. Was charged $10 for two-way shipping for such return.
* No refund notification after the return.
* No communication whatsoever!
* One of worst online shopping experience!
Every few months I get these awesome 65% off sale offers on my email, ordering online is pretty simple and I always get the cutest stuff for my 7 year old daughter. The only thing is when looking for baby stuff you may not always get the size you are looking for (but products that are not on sale are always available) Yesterday o got 70% off! Great style, great site.
Love, Love, Love... the products and the customer service is diamond! The new returns policy leaves much to be desired, but customer service is still first rate. I have to say. Com is better than the stores and the stores are pretty terrific all around. RL has the best items and best quality items, and you can feel good about your order being sent properly. Great sales... I just love this site
This is classic, high end clothing. It never seems to go out of style.
Answer: I wrote a letter following their directions exactly and they sent back my item and said they couldn't find my account even though I explicitly said the item was a gift. I would never order from them and hope I never receive a gift from them again. I don't think it's a a scam I just think they suck. Try the BBB and/or the International Trade Commission. I just gave my stupid scarf to Goodwill.
