Once you send these folks money, they are impossible to get a hold of. If you call, they say they will get back to you within 1 business day - that does NOT happen. I've been waiting over a month to get some assistance with a purchase I made from them and they simply don't get in touch! So frustrating!
We received a chair that had bad hydraulics and from the day 1 it sank every time I sat in it. Customer service line never picked up and my husband left several messages over the course of six months. I myself left two voice messages for their customer service line. Finally, I emailed them and the response was "we don't know why your chair smells and since you waited so long to tell us, we can't help you". Note, I said the chair "sinks". This is the WORST chair and the WORST customer service ever. Now we are stuck with a lemon. DO NOT BUY from this company.
The chair I purchased was refurbished, and I was quite displeased with the job done. The seams of the new upholstery are uneven and unfinished. In many places a black lining shows where it shouldn't. It doesn't look like a new chair--it's very clearly been recovered.
The left arm of the chair is also not adjustable. The lever is broken.
Overall, it's still a very sturdy and comfortable chair, but I would warn anyone considering buying one that the look and functionality are quite subpar.

This refurbished chair purchased from SeatingMind.com, which cost $620 (original price over $1200), makes annoying sound when lowering the height - hopefully not always. Otherwise the chair does the job as expected.
Maybe Herman Miller would return this product for a new one, but with SeatingMind.com, it does not qualify for a return or refund. Their web page looks as if return is free and easy, but you should have a more serious defect than this one in order to qualify for a return.
If I knew this, I would have just purchased an original product directly from Herman Miller at twice the price. I hope other potential customers make informed decisions when purchasing chairs from SeatingMind.com.
Don't trust the reviews on their site or this site. Look at the reviews on the BBB, this site intentionally misleads customers by showing pictures of chairs they do not have and they intentionally defraud consumers by knowingly shipping them something they did not order. You get what you pay for and it is more true here than anywhere. Do not make the same mistake I made.
After reading a lot of negative reviews and some good ones I decided to purchase a refurbished Herman Miller Aeron chair from Seating Mind. I have been in business most of my life and know that a bad customer experience is shared with as many as possible. With a good experience only a handful of people are told about it. I purchased this chair back in November and was full aware that it would take at least 3 weeks to be delivered. I received the chair before Christmas despite all the package delays due to volume and weather. It is a great chair and my shopping and customer service experience were exceptional. If you're thinking about purchasing a chair from Seating Mind I highly recommend them.
We ordered new office chairs from Seatingmind.com for a very good price. Initially there were some issues with the chairs not being exactly what we expected based on the item description. We reached out to customer service and they were quick to respond and resolve the issue. Since the first issue, we had a piece break on one of the chairs, through no fault whatsoever of Seatingmind. I reached out to customer service once again to assist with getting a replacement part. I had no expectations to even receive a replacement part. Not only did they send the part at no cost, they did it within a day of me reaching out and immediately sent tracking information. I am very impressed with their service and follow-through and will be buying more from them in the future.
I have now purchased three Humanscale Freedom chairs from Seating Mind, and I would only consider buying chairs from them in the future. Their refurbished chairs are as good as new. Their prices are exceptional and their customer service is prompt, friendly and effective.
Took a month for it to arrive, presumably because of covid, and it is too low for a standard desk. Something is wrong with the cylinder, minor issue but ergonomically taxing for my forearms. After reading the reviews i was concerned I had been ripped off. However, they have been very responsive and sent a replacement cylinder. However I made the chair high enough by ordering new casters off amazon that are rollerblade wheels and add enough height. Otherwise the herman miller aeron is very comfortable but I guess when you buy a used chair it's not going to have issues.
Took more than a month for the chair to arrive and now it's too low for a standard height desk. Did everything i could googling to figure out how to raise it with adjustment screw underneath, doesn't work. Terrible wrist pain from poor ergonomics, i'm so frustrated. Their customer service is non existent. Don't waste your money with this company.
I bought an expensive Steelcase Chair from them. It was great for about 6 months, then the cylinder broke and it would no longer stay up. I wrote them initially in December of 2019, and they wrote back and gave me instructions on how to fix it myself. The instructions were poor and I could not follow them, so I asked for help. They did not reply so I wrote to Steelcase, who wrote back and showed me the very small disclaimer on seating mind's website that this company is not an official seller of their product, so no warranty comes from steelcase for their chairs.
I then had a friend come over and try the "repair", but when the seat was removed through a lot of effort, the cylinder was not the same kind as the one in the instructions and there was no repair that could be done. I wrote back a couple more times, no acknowledgment of my supposed 5 year warranty. I checked with the local steelcase seller and they wanted 300.00 to repair it.
They SUCK. Do not buy anything from them.
Same company as Office Chairs at Work. Check all review sites. Same address. Two names to hide their horrible reputation. All chairs are used. They aren't clear about that. So they're all in different conditions, not close to new. So, they may or may not have what inventory they describe or show on their website. Ordered a chair with black fabric and a "Titanium base", shown as metal in the pictures. The fabric was gray, the base was beat-up, poorly spray painted, black plastic. Asked them to send the correct chair, they literally told me no. Seriously. I don't think they had what they showed on the site. They said "LOL. WE'RE NOT SENDING YOU ANYTHING". I was told to shop elsewhere. Pretty shocking. Problem is I don't dare return it. I don't know if I'll get a refund. They have a 35% restocking fee. So I'll keep this chair I didn't order and cut my losses. Learn from me. Don't shop here.
WE ordered the chair on 9/12 and haven't seen it yet, nor have we gotten any shipping information. I can't comment on the quality of the item only the service.
I ordered a $649 chair in May. I am still waiting. Seatingmind says it is lost, but they never even bothered to file la claim with FEDEX. BUYERS BEWARE! Seatingmind, do the right thing and either give me my money back or send my my chair.

2 weeks in and I still haven't received the product. As far as I know, it's hasn't even been shipped yet. Won't buy from you again.
I ordered the chair, and was immediately charged for it. 2 weeks went by, and I didn't receive it. I checked in asking when to expect it, and was told you didn't have the product anymore. I was offered a different color, without all the parts working. I declined that and got a refund. But I would have preferred the chair. And even if it wasn't available, I would have appreciated being told that proactively. Not having to wait 2 weeks, then only find out when I asked.
The chair I received has worked well. No mechanical problems. I've purchased other refurbished items before and they have always arrived looking like new. The chair I received, however, was pretty dirty. I took a wet wipe to it and it was pretty black by the time I finished. There were also stray threads coming out of the seat pad. Nevertheless, after cleaning things up (and spraying the fabrics down, just to be sure), I've enjoyed using the chair, even after several months.
I ordered this chair August 30 and I recieved this survey before I even found out when I could expect it to be shipped. I would be helpful to your customers if it was the reverse.

The chair I ordered on August 8th still hasn't shipped (It's now September 9th). I contacted customer service and they said it could take up to 30 days. This was NOT stated when I ordered. Prior to ordering it said 5-15 days, then immediately after ordering it shows +10 days for "COVID-19 reasons", now it's +5 more days for some unknown reason. They also charge you immediately on order, so they've had my money for a month so far and I have nothing to show for it.
Credit card charged immediately, yet my order hasn't even been processed in a week. Don't use COVID as an excuse for this type of practice. I will be contacting my credit card company very soon.
