Picture is grainy and in my opinion horrible. These were professional photos so there is no reason they should have turned out like that. Calendars and magnets are always great but this was very disappointing.
I have been ordering photo books from Shutterfly for many years now. I always order the 12x12 photo book. Last year and this year they are both 95 pages in total. Both years I had them sent to the same address in Canada. Both years I included the large gift box to ship them in. Last year I paid a total of $174.98. This year I paid a total of $272.88. This is getting ridiculous expensive.

I ordered 40 picture holiday cards from Shutterfly about 8 days ago (which included the photo) but just received them, which DIDN'T include the photo. I spoke with a customer representative *******610) who said he was unable to give me the correct cards without charging another $75 (he'll give me shipping free this time). The confirmation emails don't include what the cards should look like. I won't be using Shutterfly again.
Use another site. Quality is average, absolutely no human customer service, and promo codes are a scam. Some owner is sitting in a resort making money off scamming people on this site. My card was 2.75 per card, once I put my 50% off code in, the card price jumped to $4.03! What a waste of time and energy. This should be reported to the better business bureau.
Advertise 5X7 cards, but they have trimmed 1/4 inch off every single card (so only 4.75 by 6.75) This might not seem like a big deal but multiply by the thousands of cards they make and it saves them a bundle while they false advertise. They achieve this by lopping off right and bottom sides, not centered.
Ordered over Thanksgiving weekend, and noticed they added an extra word. Called to corrected it on Monday, and they couldn't correct or cancel the order, asked for a manager and they keep telling me no manager was there to help me. Michael Woldu (I'm sure he didn't give me his real name), gave me the wrong info. Was rude and so was the next CS rep, I spoke too. No one could help me, made me re-order n overall wasn't happy. I will no longer use them, terrible CS, no management to help you, and the qualified is just okay.
I ordered one 8x10 and 208 4x6 photos for our daughters 30th birthday for decorations, and Shutterfly failed to send the 4x6s. I called and they said they can send it again and I asked for it to be expedited, and they said it would arrive 4 days later then what I needed them for. This was on Nov 14 I called, and they said it would be the 20th. Would not accommodate to expedite it! Sad that Costco joined with them. This was my first and probably my last time using Shutterfly. There are other photo companies out there.
I spent hours on a project I was making for a Christmas gift.when it came time to check out I kept getting a error message saying try again later. My promo codes expire today, so I contacted customer support and their response was to delete the app and it's cache in my iPhone settings and see if that works. If I do that my project is gone. What was the point!

I have ordered from Shutterfly for years. I just ordered 4,000 pictures. I got them all, the quality is AWFUL, and worse- they are all shuffled. Not one picture from 3+ years is in order. I have to sort through 4,000 $#*!ty quality pics to arrange them in my photo albums. It already took hours to go through all of my photos to place the order. Am I really supposed to reorder from a different company now?! I'm so mad and disappointed!

Have had my pictures on shutterfly since it was Kodak gallery believe that over 30 yrs ago. Went to look for some pictures last week and all were gone. I was told they got deleted because of an email I received some time ago and didnt respond to. These are pictures that were sacred to me. Just can't believe with the technology we have today they are unable to recover them. I was told it may have went to my spam email not really sure who reads them and if so who's fault is that when they sent to to them why it went to spam I haven't any idea. I'm so frustrated over theirs not a kind word I can say after 2 hours on the phone with these people and their automated bullshit
For years, I developed and maintained detailed, captioned photo shared sites on Shutterfly, documenting my wife's and my travel around the world. Early in 2023, Shutterfly closed and erased our shared site, along with those of thousands of other customers. Although Shutterfly claims to have provided advance notice, we never received any. Shutterfly offered not so much as an apology for destroying what took a huge amount of work, over many years' time.
My purchase was for a birthday- framed portrait. The end result was an embarrassment: The head as cut off, the centering of the photo changed, overall very poor - costing 160USD! I should have read the reviews before buying!

I ordered a custom bandana as a demo to promote business. Once received and checked we would order 100 or so. Went through the online order process and paid. Got the email that everything was set and order was being processed. Two weeks later...nothing. Checked and saw order was "tracking" but only label was printed. Went to online help because a call didn't work. They reordered my product and said sooo sorry, we will get it right out to you. Two weeks later...same thing. I gave up. They wanted to give me a 50% OFF coupon...? Seriously, how about telling me what happened and how you were going to fix the problem.
Placed an order for invitations and spent $14.99 to rush the delivery. Supposed to arrive Friday Oct 6. Then it's updated to Saturday the 7th. Still fine because I was hand delivering them on Sunday the 8th. DHL turns it over to the post office (huge mistake) Saturday mid morning. Post office doesn't deliver and Monday is a holiday so new delivery date is Tuesday the 10th. I contact Shutterfly and they claim my delivery date was the 9th (Monday). Not true. They insist that it will still arrive Monday and if it doesn't to contact them for a refund. As expected it didn't arrive so I contact customer service and they claim my delivery date is the 10th. Nope it's not. They refuse to back down or refund my money. Offer me a credit on a future order. I declined and ask for my money back and they come back and tell me my delivery date was always the 10th. No, no it wasn't. I would not recommend ever again. They used to be good but like many companies they have gone to crap.

For starters, I waited forever for a specialty photo item to arrive. Finally got it and whoever packed it crammed it into the plastic so the photo is useless because the edging was crinkled up. Customer service is also terrible. I was told I would get a full refund and that I would be rushed a replacement. Then they went back on their word and told me that I would have to decide between a new print or a refund.
