I had had transferred money to my skrill account, after what skrill suddenly decided to close my account, and when i contacted customer service they reopened it without my money on my account. After that I contacted customer service multiple times and all they said is that I have to check it with the money sender. Money sender did send the money and I have a proof, together with an email from skrill saying i have recived the money, but customer service continued being rude and unhelpful repeting that I should contact the money sender again. Also when I first tried to verify my account with the code I supose to recive on my phone, somebody from skrill called me saying that they cannot send the code because I downloaded "junk" on my laptop?! Honestly, I think that skrill is a scam, or their software is not good, its not safe and I definetly dont recommend anyone trusting their money with it.

NOT worth 1 star!
Shocking and deliberately misleading!
They are s…t, they're happy to accept any amount as a deposit, great, you'd think? But, NO!
What they don't tell you is they restrict your withdrawals to $700 per day!
You only find this out after you deposit and TRY to withdraw!
When I rang the UK office the lady found my call TOO hard to handle and put the phone down in my ear!
Stay away at all costs!

One of the worst! AirTm and Paypal are far better. Skrill and Neteller both are scammers, you tranfer money among them, you loose a lot. You buy crypto, the fees is higher than any crypto exchange... stil you don't get fare return and then there are limits, which are disgusting and make you to remain (Force) with them. While there are no such restrictions in AirTM and Paypal.

I have been using Skrill for many years and I was sattisfied, however after many years of satisfaction, Desislava threw everything into water. The reasons:

1. Highly unprofessional behavior. I am asking her questions, she is responding shortly, inaccurate and closing the ticket as Resolved even she didnt try to help me. Than I need to reopen a ticket and wait at least 48 hours in order to get another unprofessional quick answer which will again be closed as "Resolved".

2. She locked my account by claiming that my account was created when I was underage! Now I am 31 years old. I am asking her when my account was created, she refuses to respond me and telling me to check my emails when I have created my account. If she knows that I was underage when I have opened my account, this means she knows the exact date when I created the Account however instead of giving me an answer, she tells me to check my email and find and email before many many many years.

3. Lets assume that I was underage when I created my account, why they accepted the account creation? There was ID Card Verification since ever. Didnt they see that I am underage that time? How they did such a huge mistake!? Also another absurd thing is that I am 31 Years old! According to their Terms and Conditions, people under 18 cant use their services, i am +13 from 18. If I created account and got verified before 18, this is not my mistake, this is their mistake so I shouldnt be the one punished after decade, the person who allowed this creation should be allowed.

4. I have done dozens of transactions via Skrill, since it was Moneybooker. Maybe Desislava that time was learning how to read letters and now comes and restricts my account. Shame on you.

The truth is that I has a Skrill account for many years, and used it occasionaly mainly during my travels, as a security measure, just not to use my regular cards. However I didn't use my account much, after I got Revolut which is much more convenient and I had never activated the new card Skrill had sent me.
Everything was great until one day I've noticed that my account had negative balance. I asked them how can this be possible as 1) My card had not been activated by me 2) Since I had no money in it, whoever made the charge should be declared and not have negative balance. They reply that the charge was from something I bought A COUPLE of YEARS ago, and the merchant decided to claim the money now. Needless to say that this was totally unacceptable as I was unable to remeber whether or not I had made this transaction after two whole years, plus that even so, a mercant cannot just claim money whenever he/she wants, they have about 10 days I think to do that, and surely enough not two years!
So to summarize Skrill was asking me money for a transaction I had possibly, two years ago, the inactive card (it should not have worked just because it had never been activated) had negative balance (a card that it is supposed to be debit one and not a credit card, the balance should have never been negative) and they wanted me to pay the money!
Well needless to say that I just closed my account!

SCAM THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY
June 13, 2022

I've registered on Skrill thinking it was a secure wallet for my money, BIG MISTAKE, they will steal your money and ban your account for no reason, just read the reviews of other people on it they all have the same problem: Skrill stole their money and closed their account for absolutely no reason.
Good reviews? They are all just bots used by the company to make their fraud look trustworthy, if you are reading this please don't trust them with your money.
Here is my story:
I registered with Skrill and for a week; didn't have any problems, did some transadtions with small amounts, no problem, but guess what happened after I put a high amount on my account? I recieved this email:

Dear Ray*** Ben*****,

Your account has been permanently closed.

Best Regards,

Skrill

And NO REASON SPECIFIED WHATSOVER, they just closed my account out of nowhere without giving me a reason nor even a warning so I can withdraw my funds before they close it?
Now my money is GONE no way to get it back tried every way to login and I guess they took my money, just like that!
Thank you so much Skrill for stealing my money and closing my account!

SKRILL IS A SCAM!
June 11, 2022

Skrill has ordered a withdrawal of all my funds (approximately 4.500 euros) out of nowhere and without my consent, to a bank account that was not the one that I've registered in my Skrill account and that is not under my name. The funds went God knows to whom and now there is nothing I can do to retrieve them. I have Skrill accepting they made the mistake in email and still after more that 3 months of calls, emails and exhausting frustration they REFUSE to compensate me! Thieves is what they are and anyone with the right mind should avoid them and withdraw their money if they still have them there!

Blatant scam.
May 31, 2022

Everything they advertise, completely false. PaySafe is the worst company to trust with your funds, they will hold it all and you aren't able to do a damn thing about it.

I was able to "withdraw" at a certain amount. Once that certain amount came, guess what? It raised! I would not recommend these scumbags to anyone who doesn't want their money held hostage. It's not easy, convenient, and it sure as hell is not competitive! Lies and fraud.

AGAIN. Would not recommend to anyone unless you want your money to be used as a flesh light for these greedy pricks.

PS. Contacted a lawyer for theft/false advertising.

It never works
May 29, 2022

Going to close my account. I deposited money to it and then tried to use it to pay for things but none of the payments -- at multiple vendors -- would go through. I asked for help, they didn't help. I'm shutting down my account.

I have opened and VERIFIED my old account around 1 year. After start war in Ukraine I relocated in Poland and Skrill blocked refill. I just wrote to support that I'm living in Poland and want to restore full functionality of skrill. Support team sent me response that I should create new account and say them, they should move balance account from old to new. I did it and it was fine BUT I should one time go by verification. I sent to verification service my passport and my selfie. And from this time I saw "fine" work of customer service of Skrill. In last time I grow a BEARD and photo on my passport was without BEARD. They just said that my selfie is not the same on my passport and CLOSED MY ACCOUNT. I sent message to support service that my old service from they moved balance of money was verified and in time moving they understood that i'm the same person when they did it.

They insisted on contacting customer service via WhatsApp, where I was asked to do multiple, varying in amount, deposits to *activate* my account. Not only did they not refund the previous ones, they asked for more and more. Thankfully I sensed something fishy was happening in front of my very eyes. Stay safe everybody and don't be as stupid as I was

Basically, criminals.
April 2, 2022

My experience. Send money to friend. Friend fails authentication of his account. Friend told he can't reregister with that email address. Money now can't be collected by friend. Request for refund refused. So basicallly, Skrill took the cash and now won't give it to anyone at all. Dispute raised with Visa. There's no description that fits better than outright criminality. You may as well take your cash to a casino.
Follow up a month later - Visa came through! Despite Skrill's objections, Visa refunded me and reversed the charges completely. Thanks for validating my opinion, Visa!

Do not go for SKRILL!
March 25, 2022

I had deposited and amount of around AED 470 and ended up withdrawing only around AED 330. All thanks to the lousy excuses and fraudulent policies that the SKRILL team works on; with excuses such as my local bank not accepting the transaction to delay in me receiving less money due to fluctuating exchange rate; all the SKRILL team did was charge me on every transaction until I ended up losing 10-15% of my original amount to be received. I can assure the team that not only would I be taking this matter to social media platforms and channels but also going back to PAYPAL, FOREVER!

I was asked by skrill to provide further documentation to verify my identity before the money transfer I organised could proceed. I then discovered the transaction was fraudulent and asked skrill to halt transfer and I had provided no further identification documents.
There response was to send the money through to the scammers and collect there fee.
THEY ARE TOTAL CRIMINALS BEWARE OF SKRILL.

This is a fraud company! Stay away! Their service must be reported to the FBI and people should file lawsuits against them! I only tried it for a little amount of money but gosh I'm happy I didn't go bigger with it. Imagine! It didn't even build trust first, I kept my funds for later withdrawal and when I checked my account again, I find 00,00 dollars in it. I contacted them and they said the money has been taken as a funding fee of keeping my account open. Wtf? How in the actual $#*! do they have the right to do that? They keep updating their terms of service to match their fraud activities whenever they want they send the customer a link of their terms pretending to prove that they're right, but they're not! Don't do this mistake. Report them to the FBI, interpol and your local police stations. They're professional thieves and ready to steal your money anytime! The positive reviews here or anywhere should be from fake accounts they create to pretend that they're legit and safe! Be aware. Stay away, keep your money safe!

Totally scam and cheaters
January 21, 2022

I should have read the reviews first before I use this scumbag. They will steal your money in a snap. To think that they are only e-wallet and they will reply in your email that your account is restricted and they found reasonable grounds. Like what the heck. After you transfer the money to skrill that's the time they will find reasonable grounds to restrict the account? Totally bull$#*!.

Less than 1 star
January 20, 2022

I had to open an account to collect winnings and after the winnings showed up in the account, it was gone a month later. Try calling their number and all you get is an automated loop telling you to press 1 and then press 2. They want you to send your social security number too to verify an account and want a driver's license and selfie before you can withdraw money. The 1 star is too generous.
