Buyer Beware
September 24, 2019

The my miss-cut a photo for a large frame I purchased and then blamed it on me. Stated that I uploaded the picture that way. The picture had no border, I zoomed in a lot so there was plenty of picture that didn't get used. They just cut it wrong. Will not replace. That have bad reviews everywhere!

Quantity over Quality
August 20, 2019

I ordered the fancy cut picture and didn't realize that the picture I sent in wasn't of perfect quality (professional photo but I sent it from my phone). Apparently, this caused my photo to blur and instead of someone reaching out to me and offering to let me send in a better photo, they went ahead and sent me a $83 blurry family portrait.

Customer service even went as far acknowledging that they knew my picture my was blurry, yet made no attempt to contact me. They refuse to reprint and now I have a fancy cut piece of junk that I get to throw away.

This company is all about quantity over quality and they customer is never right.

Purchased several items... beautiful products but 1 came damaged.
I didn't realize the item was damaged due to some last minute travel plans and hectic few weeks involving a death in the family.
So I opened my package 2 weeks past their return date and realized my item was un-fixably damaged. I emailed customer service and they just gave me a flat NO.
Almost every retailer I have ever shopped with (both small and major corporations) are always willing to work with their customer even if the time frame for return or exchanges has passed, especially when it comes to damaged merchandise.
They just gave a flat out NO without any type of sincerity or courtesy.
All this over $32.50
They lost a customer over $32.50!

I've been a customer of Smallwoodhome for a few years and loved their wooden signs. They recently changed all of their "natural" wood signs to what must be laminate. It looks like it can be peeled off. It's sad. They've just cheapened their signs all together. Their new "laminate" wood didn't match the old "natural" wood so I had to return them. Then, they ignored me regarding being charged for return shipping. They took $33 for return shipping. Terrible customer service. Don't waste your time.

The picture attached shows the difference in their signs. The "natural" wood is the lighter one, the "laminate" that they're calling "stained" (which is hilarious) is the darker one.

I told them I'd overlook writing a negative review if they would just give me my full refund but they wouldn't and did not respond. Be mindful when using them.

Not worth the trouble.

Scam. I purchased some custom prints and a system glitch on their end resulted in unordered duplicates of some and other prints not coming at all. Their customer service ignored me when I reached out to get the missing print or a refund for the missing print.
