I booked the flight because it was listed as $624 CND on Kayak. All the other sites for the same flight were around $648-$650. When I tried to book it on Kayak, it directed me to Smartfares to conclude the booking. On the Smartfares site, the price for the flight was still $624. I did not add any additional options or coverages. So I was expecting to be charged $624. To my surprise after booking, it showed on my credit card as a charge for $650.86. I did not cancel the reservation because of the hassle. But I did feel that I got scammed…

I received un email from one of your staff saying that I had a problem with my reservation that it was pending, but when I called the person told me everything was ok. Nothing pending and no doctor or extra carge was needed. And she send me another emal confirmation.

Not happy because I bought my flight and didn't got my confirmation mail. When you answered the person by the phone said I must pay more to change my name and surname. I answered I needed a little time to look for ma card. I called and they said that I needed to pay 100USD more. Impossible to change flight or do something to ovoid it.
So one simple call to confirm my booking was to pay more of ½ of price more. This cannot happen. The people who were bythe phone was absolutely correct 👍🏻, but I think they could do something to make pay more money.

I booked a ticket for 175 dollars and I was hit with an additional 145 dollars on account of supposed dynamic pricing, which was not true. I checked and the ticket became more expensive but by maybe 55 dollars, not 145.
But they cancelled it as soon as I didn't agree so hopefully I'll get back the initial payment.
Advice: Pay 5 dollars more but use an established agent.

My final booking price is higher than my original price due to I ask to correct 1 of the passenger name within 1 hour, there is no option to ask if the information is correct. The helpdesk is very helpful however, he claimed that 2 out of my 4 tickets have already issued by the airlines but the others 2 are pending unless I have to pay extra 500 euro for the price difference and at the same time to correct the name. I have no choice but to pay that otherwise I will loose the taxes for the issued air ticket which is higher than the price. This is the first time I am using this service, because in other website, if the price change, my booking will not be successful and I can search for other dates.

Answer: Yes. They stated because of flight increase they canceled my flights. Then they wanted me to pay a balance of what the new increase was. So disappointing. I paid for four fares. They took the funds from the bank n then canceled my flights.
