Please do not trust this company to meet its stated deadlines either to complete and ship your order or to respond to your inquiries in the stated timelines. It doesn't matter how good your design interface is if you cannot then make the product and get it to your customer. Very poor customer service... and it is not the fault of the people at the end of the chat help or phone line, but those who manage this company and obviously do not care about their customers.
I was online with "customer service" for nearly two hours last night. The photo book I ordered finally came only it came as two books in one. It printed my photos twice. After explaining my issue they asked for a photo of the problem. I uploaded the photo to my account because their feature in their chat was not working. (Sidenote- I think this is extremely poor service to have to upload a photo of THEIR MISTAKE.) After twenty minutes of searching Punjab finally found my photo after the fourth time of telling him to look in my albums and NOT MY PROJECTS. Then he repeatedly screwed up my credit. Giving me credits for both a red linen book and a tan linen book after I told him over and over it was a plain hardcover, 8x11 book AND NOT A LINEN BOOK. We were disconnected several times! Finally I got the right credit in my account and after being told to give him the order number for free shipping HE CLOSED THE CHAT BEFORE I COULD. Never in my life have I wanted to reach through my computer screen and punch someone in the face like I did last night. My issue is still not resolved after all that.
I have used snapfish for many, many years but this will be my last. I don't know what happened to them but they have managed to put out the most obnoxious, hard to use website and outsource all their customer service to people who have no clue how to understand the English language!
Ordered Christmas cards & prints. Previewed everything before I ordered and it looked perfect. Got my order & the right edge of my cards were chopped off, 1 print had the top parts of our heads chopped of and another print had half my hair chopped off. I contacted them including pic attachments via email and they stated I have to be sure to preview my order before submitting it like it was my fault. The preview was perfect when I submitted my order. The problem is on their end! I will not be using them again and will make sure to spread the word. And why is there no customer service number!?!?!?
I have been using Snapfish for at least 5 years and have ordered all sorts of stuff from them. This year I logged in to create my annual photo album and found that I could no longer drag a photo from one page to the opposite page. No matter, what I do, the photo stops in the middle and will not go to the page right across from it. I contacted their online chat support. A person by the name of Ranadheer Arrebelli had a great deal of trouble understanding my question. They gave me solutions for other problems. They closed the chat on me, even after I said I tried what they said and it didn't work. I started a new chat with the same results. There was supposed to be a feedback form for this agent, but it never came up. After trying a variety of options (cookies, browsers, etc), I am pretty sure there is no longer a way to drag a photo from one page to the opposite page in a photo album. The agent should have been familiar enough with the platform to at least tell me that. At any rate, very rude customer service, even if they used fluffy phrases like calling me a "wonderful customer."
I have made over 30 photo albums using Snapfish in the past several years, all very satisfactory quality and the site was very easy to use. This "new" site, however, is TERRIBLE. I would quit it today except that I have old projects on the site and have been trying to reorder a recent album to no avail. The online help is abysmal. The helper seems to give pat answers and does not know how to diagnosis nor direct me to the appropriate solution. This is about my 8th or 9th time trying in two months or more to use the site and I cannot imagine why they are not fixing all of their issues, one of which is to tell me to download Adobe Flash Player but it is already installed on my computer. Not one of the helpers has been able to give me a satisfactory answer to how to deal with this impediment. Ugh! SO disappointing and unprofessional. Maddening, really.
We spent hours developing a photo calendar for friends for the holidays and then spent $500 bucks on them. The calendars come individually wrapped in cellophane but we opened the first one and it looked great. Now all our friends are contacting us to let us know there are random pages missing from many of the calendars. Some are missing September. Some March. There is no pattern, rhyme or reason. Endless attempts to get a refund or corrected calendars from Snapfish have been useless. Their online "chat" folks have very dubious skills in reading or comprehending English. The "supervisor" our complaint was forwarded onto just sends an email template asking that we upload a photo of the "defective" image. How can you take a photo of something that is missing.
This was a $500 bust and waste of time and the company clearly doesn't have any commitment to customer service once they have their money. STAY AWAY FROM SNAPFISH AND SAVE YOURSELF A MISERABLE AND EXPENSIVE EXPERIENCE!
I spent the whole weekend building a photobook for my wife as a gift. Even though the website says it was autosaving - and I saved manually a few times - the book was gone! All my manual layout and edited text is gone! Support was no help at all. Nareesh gave me instructions that made no sense. While trying to figure it out, he ended the session and I lost all the information with it. Then, I complained about it on the feedback screen and I got error when I tried to submit it. What happened to Snapfish!? It was a great site! Now, I need to look for an alternative.
Tonight was my first time on the new Snapfish website and without using language that would be bleeped out all I can say is I am very unhappy. On the original site, I was able to move photos from one album to another and also reorder my photos. Now the photos show up all mixed up and without the captions that I spent hours adding to my photos. At least one product is no longer available as I wanted to make a personalized growth chart for my granddaughter and that no longer exists.
The website is terrible to navigate and order prints. What a mess. We order on line all the time and have never had this kind of experience. How can they put out a website like this without consumer testing? Will not order from them again.
Three times my husband and I have tried to order prints on the new version of Snapfish and three times we were unsuccessful and wasted an enormous amount of time. Live chat was horrible as the assistants could not answer my questions or lend any significant help. I even telephoned to get a real person to take me through the steps and still I was not able to order the prints. They blamed my browser but when we changed to Google chrome the problem was not resolved. I just want to order from a few albums and then be done with Snapfish. I would never recommend them nor would I ever use them again.
Horrible experience. JJF
Horrible "live chat" help. Website is unusable. I've wasted too much time on this site with no results.
NOT worth your time and money for a project you anticipate to make.
I've been ordering all my photos from Snapfish for the past 3 years. They took a while to get to me, but they were cheap and of decent quality. They recently converted to a new site, and it's been pure torture! It's so hard to navigate. In addition, in the past I was always able to add a white border to my photos. I couldn't figure out how to do it on the new site, and the online chat person told me that "the engineers are working on it." This is a problem because I like my photos to have a uniform look in my albums. I spent over an hour trying to figure out how to upload and order about 30 photos, and it looks like it was an hour wasted. I'll be taking my business to Shutterfly, even though it's more expensive.
I submitted an order, recived notification that my order went through, and then was unable to track my order on line through my account. It appears as though they lost my order! They have no telephone customer service support and the on-line chat was utterly ineffective. I am now in limbo with no help from Snapfish. Next time I will work with Shutterfly.
Oh my goodness! Snapfish claimed they would refund me the full price of the cruddy Christmas cards... I just checked my credit card statements and they NEVER REFUNDED ME! Uggh! Now I must face more irritation and try to get my money back. Stay away from this company!
I have used Snapfish for years, but now I am not sure I can continued. They cannot provide me with my own photos. I cannot upload to FB or anywhere else. I have lost my copies so now what? The service was supposed to save them for me so I can have and use them when needed and that's now possible? I am considering BBB and Attorney General intervention!
The new format is difficult to navigate. When I finally found the pic I wanted, I had no way to change the size. Maybe it's me, but I am pretty good at navigating stuff like this, but I have given up.
In 2000 I order prints from Snapfish of my trip to Israel. They came back great! However, in June 2015 I, again, ordered prints from Snapfish of my trip to Italy. When I was placing the online order, their website said that if you order 4 x 6 prints they will be cropped. But the digital 4 x 5.3 sized prints would not be. Since I didn't want my pictures to be cropped, I ordered the 4 x 5.3 sized prints.
They came back cropped -- and off-center to boot! They looked horrible. Customer service told me to purchase Photoshop and crop and edit my pictures myself before ordering them from Snapfish. Why should I do that?! I specifically didn't want cropped pictures!
While Snapfish's pricing is reasonable, their product is horrible! Don't order photos from Snapfish!
In an effort configure an HP printer for ePrint, I attempted to create an "account" and was repeatedly hijacked to a Snapfish login site and urged to sign in using my Snapfish ID.
The Snapfish customer service page offers a link to cancel your account. It doesn't work. Their chat people HAVE NO AUTHORITY and DON'T SPEAK ENGLISH. Evidently HP gave them my email address when I registered my printer. Now they think they own me and are Hotel California. They say they want a shipping address for verification - I've never bought from them and, which of my last six addresses would I give them? They say they want the last 4 of my credit card - I've never given them one and wouldn't recall which card I had given them, and likely it would have changed numbers anyway. They say they'll "get back to me" sometime" - possibly in this lifetime. UTTERLY USELESS TARBABY COMPANY.
I placed order and two weeks latr I received half of it. The prints still haven't arrived and there is nobody to speak to in the customer service department. I wouldn't be as disturbed if I didn't spend an hour trying to find someone to help me track down my photo prints. I am passionate about customer service and this was just not a good experience. There are too many competitors out there for snapfish to be my preference.
Answer: I hate snapfish after my Christmas card debacle so I can't help... I'm thinking SHUTTERFLY?
