I usually use Vistaprint for calendars that I send out and give out at pre-christmas family gathering. But thought I would use snapfish thus year. Calendars were supposed to be delivered by Dec 9th. I received notices every day that they would be here by 9 o'clock. Never were. I called snapfish, they said they would escalate but never heard from them. I had to buy calendars from amazon to bring to family get together because still did not have by 16th. I never had problems with Vistaprint. Will not use Snapfish again.
I never write online reviews but here I go. After 3 years - goodbye Snapfish I will be headed to other businesses. Photo order placed Dec 15 for delivery Dec 23. Order never arrived. No update or status on webpage. I can understand delays and mishaps but customer service was appalling. Contacted them by chat three times and no one could offer an explanation, clarity or timeframe for order. Just that a manager would contact me. Manager did not reach out until Dec 28 to say replacement order on its way. No explanation why a week late, no apologies for order mess up. I asked for reimbursement of shipping as it was expedited yet arrived after holiday and week late, and they offered only half. How cheap. No accountability for an order that missed deadline entirely and was a week late? Shipping reimbursement was the least they could do—if not full refund. The people handling customer service don't seem to understand and are dismissive. How many customers will Snapfish lose before they wake up? A simple apology and update on what happened when I first contacted them would have satisfied me enough, but instead I got the runaround for a week. Bye Snapfish!
Only thing I have to complain about is some the pictures on my ornaments were blurry. It was a small picture on them, so I wasn't too mad about it.
I also ordered 3 hardcover picture books that I made for my wedding. They came in the mail in a soft packaging and 2 of the books were damaged. I told customer service about it, they asked for some pictures, and just like that I was getting all 3 brand new for free and still was able to keep the first 3. They came in a box this time with bubble wrap so nothing was damaged. I bet if I sent a picture of the blurry ornaments, they would've replaced as well.
I will forever use this site because of this! Pictures attached were the damages before they sent me perfect replacements.
I bought Christmas calendars from Snapfish supposedly 70% off. After you work hours and hours to upload your photos and set up the calendars, when you get to the end, you realize that it isn't really 70% off AND shipping and handling is outrageous. By that point you have to order it because you worked so hard on it. My order total was $93 and of that amount shipping was $38. Seriously? The calendars better be worth it!
Ordered some prints that should have arrived at designated store for Christmas. Paid the money but prints were never produced, customer service agents in India were dismissive and it was never resolved. Snapfish took my money and never came close to producing the prints. Avoid, avoid, avoid. Goof thing is learnt that Boots can do it quicker and much easier.
Read first, find another business. Snapfish is horrible. 2 pkgs < 1 lb each was $40+ for UPS ground.
I originally ordered a calendar I made with pictures for a family member and I received it about a weeks before Christmas. The cover showed the year 2023. The months were for 2024. I spoke with customer service and I was issued credit to remake another due to their error. I had to pay more out of pocket for shipping to make sure it got here in time. I received it 2 days before Christmas and guess what, it was exactly the same problem! Once again the cover showed it was for the year 2023 but months were for 2024. How does this happen twice?! I made sure to look 3 different times to make sure the year was correct and it was, but when I received it as before it was wrong. They only offered me a refund for the shipping. Nice huh? Especially when the issue was on their end not just once, but two different times.
THE QUALITY IS HORRIBLE as pictures as the calendar format. NO MORE ORDERS WITH THIS SHOP.
The pictures were dark and bad quality.
It is a "quick" service but I prefer to pay more than £20 and get a better result.
Absolutely shocking experience, as well as dreadful customer service. STAY AWAY From this company if you don't want to be stressed out of your mind over your order. Payed an extortionate amount for fast delivery well in time for Christmas, literally classed as "overnight delivery". Well tell me what kind of overnight delivery takes 2 weeks? Surely should be renamed to fortnightly delivery. When I purchased my items, (not to mention they charge delivery separate for each item even though going to same address) the predicted date was well before Christmas. When the item was dispatched it's now saying it will take several days longer, so if I'm lucky it will come before the end of the new year! It can't be tracked either! Tried messaging their social media and emailing which I got no response from, not to mention I also saw many angry comments from customers with the same problem as me, which suggests this happens often. I tried the live chat option, which dosnt work. And also tried calling customer service, which IF you do finally get through, they put you on hold for no obvious reason, and leave you on hold until you have no choice but to hang up and ring again, or they just hang up on you if you won't hang up on them! There is no logical reason to be putting someone on hold for over 20 minutes just to "check" an order status. I hope everyone reading this review decides to order elsewhere, as only then snapfish will start to improve. As even if I do manage to get a refund AFTER the new year, I still won't have my gifts for Christmas, and now don't even have time to order them from elsewhere. Every other order I've placed from other companies has came in time, so just really does say a lot about the terrible service of this company. AVOID like the plague
1. The pictures in my Snapfish photo book are pixelated and not nearly as vivid as my originals. My home printer would have done a better job.
2. I used the simplest template - one photo per page - and they still managed to mess it up. Photos are far off-center or cropped off.
3. Shipping is outrageous. $36 for 2-week shipping.
4. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I have been in contact with five representatives in the last five days and I am still without resolution. I get the run-around and of course, the trump card: I will have to accelerate your request to a supervisor" and these "supervisors" NEVER get back to anybody. They want to give me a full refund only if I send the books back and pay for shipping (Um, no. I can throw them in the garbage as well as they can, without paying for shipping! The point is to get my money BACK.) Or they want to send me new books. (Um, no. The Christmas party for which these were supposed to be gifts is TOMORROW.) Or they want to give me in-store credit (Um, no. I am never ordering from them again.)
Imagine my irritation today after completing an order, then finding a $.99 surcharge for "holiday delivery" included in my cost. I've been purchasing Snapfish photo calendars for 10+ years but this is the first time I've seen "holiday delivery" surcharge. If your costs have increased, raise prices for your products BUT stop the surcharge nonsense.
We failed to read reviews before making our purchase with Snapfish. If we had, we would have chosen another company for our printing needs. We spent over $400 for our Christmas cards to be printed as well as personalized envelopes with our return address. We had also paid for the fastest delivery method to give us more time to send them out. When our order finally arrived, we were disappointed to see the Christmas cards all had a white line down the front middle of the card, and the all the envelopes had someone else's name and address. We contact Snapfish immediately to see if they could resolve the mistake, accidents happen. They agreed to resend the order to replace the it. When the second order arrived, we were once again disappointed to see they did not include the new Christmas cards, and further more, then envelopes still had a different name and address! We contacted Sanpfish again for a refund this time, as it seems they will not be getting our order correct in time. Snapfish refuses to refund our order and are no longer responding back to our inquiries about the matter. SNAPFISH IS A SCAM! Spread the word, they are no long the company they once were.
I will NEVER use Snapfish again! You THINK you are getting a good deal - but it turns out that they GOUGE you with the price of shipping - I am talking $60 shipping for 2 books and about 300 photos. SIXTY DOLLARS! In a world where free shipping is the norm - this is OUTRAGEOUS! With research I found out - this is how they catch you. I uploaded thousands of photos (that took a LONG time) - so I felt stuck using them.
That wasn't the worst problem.
I put an order in on 12/13/22. For 2 books and about 15 pictures. I pay EXTRA at checkout for shipping for my order to arrive on 12/21/22. I figure, even if it's 1 or 2 days late - I will be fine for Christmas. Wrong.
I checked my order on 12/13/22. It now says arriving on 12/27/22 - obviously AFTER Christmas.
I think - something must be wrong - I paid MORE for faster shipping. I contact the USELESS people on chat. They are useless. They tell me a supervisor will email by the end of the day. No email was sent.
I contact them AGAIN (wasting MORE of my time). They say the SAME thing. Someone will email me. Finally, I get the email. And all it says is, "We're sorry. Shipping is an estimate." (In MANY more words).
I was told my order would come on 12/21/22. It says it will get here on 12/27/22. That's a difference of SIX days! I am a math teacher - THAT'S NOT A GOOD ESTIMATION! They should know holidays are WAY busier than normal.
Also their quality SUCKS compared to other companies.
NEVER use Snapfish AGAIN!
Always excellent quality! Personalized mugs, calendar, blankets, etc. Love everything I've ever purchased
They never answer the customer service phone. Kept repeating the announcement for an hour! On live chat for 50 minutes with zero results. They insisted to ask for a picture of delivered item even though it was not relevant to the issue. They LIED about top of the line leather cover premuim best paper lie-flat album. It was clearly none of these -regular curling paper, not lay flat. Frustrating, going in circes chat for the entire nearly an hour long chat Simply blocked any discussionnof problem issues.
Unfortunately I received my canvas photo and I am not satisfied with it (strike one). So I put their Satisfaction Guarantee on their website to the test. No one answers their customer service number to get a real person to speak with and I have tried many times in last 2 days (strike 2). The only communication was in the chat. I was asked for photos to review so it's the employee who makes the call if I have a valid issue. Not me the customer who is not satisfied (strike 3). A deterrent tactic by the company scripted for the employee. I have to say, this is the first company I've dealt with (in a very long time) that makes it difficult to complain and get your customer satisfaction guarantee. Most companies I've dealt with bend over backwards for my satisfaction. (Shipping was good so some credit). I'll dispute the charge with my credit card company, find another company and never use Snapfish again.
Placed an order in mid-November which hasn't arrived.
Chatted to someone via online chat; he promised me he would chase the courier company and get back to me - he didn't do that.
Spoke to someone else who said he'd expedite delivery: it still hasn't arrived.
All emails to customer service are ignored or bounce back.
Meanwhile I have had 10,000 spam emails and all my requests to unsubscribe have been ignored, breaching Data Privacy laws.
Overall I would rather be punched by a corpulent man with wounds on his hands than do business with this 'company' again.
We got our Christmas card pictures back today and couldn't be more disappointed. After spending time designing a collage picture that looked great on our computer.
The picture that was delivered to us was terrible. Pictures were off center and cut off on one side of the print. Not even close to what we designed. Very disappointing. We will never use Snapfish again.
I wanted to make photo Christmas cards. Under the card I wanted it said 'as low as $1 each'. I clicked on it and proceeded to upload my photos and finish. When I went to check out with 40 cards...so $40 I expected...the price was over $200+. I went back and after you click on the card, it states that each card is $6. There is NO option for $1. Its against the law to have deceptive advertising! Ill make my photos elsewhere and let everyone know they will be scammed by this company. This is what the main page said:
Holiday Tree
Seal and Send Cards, 7x10
As low as $1.00
Christmas Photo Cards
Then when you click on the card you want, this is what it says:
Seal and Send Cards, 7x10
Price $6.00 each Sold in sets
Mail Order Prices
PAPER
Standard Cardstock - starting at $6.00
Mail order only
SnapFish is unreliable and lures customers into ridiculous add-on fees (including astronomical shipping fees). On Nov 28th (after spending 8 hours perfecting our holiday cards), I go to check out only to see that the delivery of my cards w/ the standard shipping ($20!) wouldn't get the cards to me until Dec 22 (almost a MONTH after ordering).
Of course, they don't let you know this until you are in check out and the only option is to pay an extra $50 for 'expedited shipping' which gets the cards there in 2 weeks. VERY dishonest of SnapFish and it reminded me of why I haven't used them in the past. Costco is way cheaper, more reliable, and comparable quality.
Answer: I hate snapfish after my Christmas card debacle so I can't help... I'm thinking SHUTTERFLY?
