STAPLES PROVES TO BE A TRUSTWORTHY COMPANY, once again!
I was afraid to order anything online. I ordered 5 ink cartridges, and asked to pick it up at the store. It got there, all right, but they listed my name incorrectly, and initially STAPLES staff could not find it. They should have sent a free gift card for $20.00 under separate cover. I didn't receive it. I was fuming!
Take a hint, PERSIST! When they eventually located all of the information, they said that they had made a pretty serious mistake... They had not charged me for the order, and the Gift Card is not sent out until they received the payment. They told me that because it was their mistake, the $161.00. Order was free to me.
I insisted that even though they were unable to locate the Credit Card Charges, that, in fact, the money had been debited from my account. I proved this was true, and not only had they been initially willing to give me that expensive online order for free, but they then sent me the Gift Card, via Express Mail.
I AM IMPRESSED!

This www.staples.com online service I used for purchasing some items. Their website is looking fine so I purchased an item for this service for emergency. But they are disappointed me by late shipping. The item was too late to reach to me. For this reason I am not using this service for online purchase.
I (an American citizen) ordered a scale online from Staples.com and received an email confirmation of my order. Staples usually takes a long time to ship but it is free so I never complain about that. But after quite a few days I start to wonder where my scale is. I log into my account and see that the order was cancelled. I was never informed of this cancellation - I even checked my spam folder - it was just cancelled. So I Chat Live to find out why and I'm told I need to call their 1800 number. I do and after a few transfers I finally get someone that tells me I used an international credit card to order and they only accept American credit cards. WHAT?! 1. That is ridiculous, why would you only accept American credit cards? 2. It was a Visa card, not exactly foreign. 3. It is technically an "American" credit card as it was issued in Puerto Rico which is a territory of the United States. My husband, (also an American citizen as are all Puerto Ricans), opened the Visa account in Puerto Rico. Why would Staples insist on such a discriminatory policy? Perhaps in the future I will have to verify my citizenship in order to purchase tape and cardboard boxes online. Shame on them.
Don't know what happened, I am still dazed; bought colored and black and ink yesterday 09/18/14 at 12:18 PM at Staples on 4610 North Clark Street in Chicago (plus Pastels (a rim of paper) BUT EVERYTGHING PRINTED BLACK AND WHITE WITH THE COLOR in the flyers!

All of the people here are very caring and nurturing they know how to take care of your needs and are always there for you when you need them. I want to take the time to let them know that they are the best so far especially being an office supply store. Thanks guys, Corey is by far the best manager I have dealt with.
Ordered PC memory in store using the kiosk and paid in store with my debit card which they tout as being very user friendly.
They never disclosed it was a third party shipper/seller until I asked where my order was. Over a week later it hadn't shipped. Tried to cancel and they claimed they couldn't reach the seller. Also, they said I had to go back in the store if I wanted a refund. They claimed someone would called me Monday and no one did. After telling me it would arrive Monday I called them and turns out it was shipping out on Monday (scan only). Two weeks after ordering, it still isn't here. The worst of it is, I already found a better price but it would be too big a hassle to both canceling. Not sure why they are still in business. I think they should stick with office supplies.
Prices are a little less than the store. Sometimes hard to follow. Can not use gift cards online, have to go to the store. That doesn't make any sense.
I was going to buy copic markers and all of the prices were labeled incorrectly, so instead of telling me that or just processing my order as it should have been done, I had to come on, talk to a rep and have them tell me, whoops, we $#*!ed up, we're just gonna cancel that order. Now I don't get my markers and Staples is no longer a store or website I will shop at. I am royally pissed off. I will not recommend Staples in the future.
Best internet office supply source with a great but slow customer service group.
When I walk into staples these days, it's like the store is closed. Nobody is there. The store provides a good service, expensive compared to alternate options which is why they stores are likely deserted these days.
I really like staples. They have a great selection of office supplies that are reasonably priced. I would definitely order from them again in the future.
