Ordered a truck wheel from Summit on 06/19/23. After almost a month and no wheel, sent an email asking about shipping status. Summit's reply was the wheel would ship by 10/30/23. Three more months! Asked Summit to cancel the order and refund my payment. Now waiting for refund. Hope that doesn't take three months!

I ordered a front sway bar and fuel sending unit for my 66 Belvedere. Sending unit came and was not like the original, the one they sent had a return line I needed to figure out how to plug. I called and they said it was the right one and just plug the return. Also, my car has a 5/16" fuel line and the one they sent was 3/8". I contacted the manufacturer of the $60 sender and they had no reference to that particular number, they said it was probably a specific unit made for Summit. I will try to install it but told Summit my concern was if the sending unit was going to be accurate in m car. Second item I ordered was a ADDCO sway bar. Before i ordered it i did some research with ADDCO and found out it was a 15/16" rod when Summit advertised a 1 1/16". I called Summit and they told me if ADDCO says it is 15/16" then it is what they said and Summit catalog is wrong. Part came in a box that looked like something someone made in their garage out of used cardboard, and when i opened it the bar was scratched up like it was installed before. When installing, the ends were not aligned with the dropdown rods (the ends were twisted)? And they were not the same angle on either side. I do not send things back and got the bar to work. But for the money spent it was interesting. I am very dissatisfied with Summit, i have used them in the past with no issues but this was different.

Used to be good..

Summit racing is horrible any more. Ever since they relocated their headquarters to Texas; nothing is in stock, items are discontinued, but yet still In the catalog. Costumer service is awful! Good luck if you have a problem with a order...So sad, the place was top notch at one point...

Very strange situation
April 18, 2023

3rd of April 2023 I placed and paid the order # *******.
5th of April 2023 the order was canceled.
6th of April 2023 the person signed the letter as Winston informed me that my bank denied to accept the return of the money and Winston has to send me the check.
I check with my bank. It informed me that there were now attempts to return the money.
6th of April 2023 I asked Winston to send proves: copies of attempts to send me money back, the tracking number of parcel with check, the date and number of check that was "sent to me".
Winston refused to give these information.
I decided that no check was sent to me (till now 14th of April no check arrived) and insisted on return of money.
7th of April 2023 Winston informed me that on 6th of April instead of check the money were transferred to the card from which the order was paid.
I waited one week, and because I didn't receive the money back:
13th of April 2023 asked Winston to send bank's confirmation that on 6th of April money were paid to the card.
Winston again refused.

When I emailed a specialist for my engine rebuild, the response I got took 3 days. The reply was cold, short and offer no insight. The replies always took 2 days each plus they would only answer some of the questions asked, meaning I would have to wait 2 more days when I asked again. Currently my order label was created and awaiting pickup by the carrier for the last 5 days. So I'll have to wait 2 more days to get a reply. Calling took 45 minutes on the phone and was even less friendly.
Also, promo code did not work and by the time they replied it would have expired.
I wish I has chosen Jegs instead

Engine leaks

Bought engine and after running it, engine had a couple leaks. Summit says only internal parts are warrantied so I have to eat cost of fixing leaks. No quality if they can't build engines that won't leak.

Beat a price guarantee

Summit has a best price guarantee but they never beat other companies prices as they will tell you they have a right to refuse price match for any reason including not wanting to price match. They get angry when you tell them to take down the false add.

TERRIBLE

They have product for sale that's supposed ship within 10 days or so. It took 6 MONTHS to get this! Then they lost it as soon as it was in their hands from the supplier. They had to have it shipped again from supplier and when I received it it was the wrong quantity of product! Are you kidding me? I won't even bother taking this further.

Ordered over two handfuls of times and there were shipping issues with every order. One order had to be placed 3 different times and STILL, the products were never delivered correctly. Their website is flawed, emails for inquiries cannot be submitted as the submit button is disabled, leaving messenger as the only viable option for international consumers.

Moreover, general information such as address cannot be easily updated for international consumers for some odd reason... adding to their shipping woes. Customer service did not take the time to check on shipment even when tracking ID was attached in the opening line of my message, resulting in continuously repeated answers which are rude, unhelpful and downright arrogant. Until i showed screenshots of the fedex tracking, progress was made by customer service...

Currently waiting for the item to be returned ALL THE WAY back to Summit Racing in the USA, I thing I've had to do over 3 times now.

AVOID IF YOURE INTERNATIONAL.

Ordered tires and 23 days later got an update that it will take another 3 months before tires can be shipped from manufacturer. Why are they accepting orders online if they do not have product it should indicate that it is out of stock and is on a backorder.

Wrong release bearing in clutch kit

Been ordering parts from Summit for some time but now it seems they are to big to take care of small customers. Ordered a clutch kit for a 1956 ford fairlane and the clutch release bearing is to small which all come in a kit. I talked to a Roger person and only got back talk and no answer to my question only that he told me how long he worked for his company. Waited 4 days and still no answer, done with ordering parts from summit until they hire someone who searches for the part problem and not his life story. Their are better parts companies out there and looking at reviews helps some what.

A Pleasant Surprise!

I originally left a poor review of Summit Racing as a result of ordering a tuneau cover that was advertised on their site as one that would fit my vehicle. After one phone call with their customer service, I returned the item but was unhappy they did not reimburse me for my shipping, given that I thought it was their fault. Well, I received that reimbursement today after I left a poor review. While I may not be able to take that review back, I highly respect that type of customer service and response. Thank you Summit Racing!

I have bought from Summit Racing for years they have gone to hell. Customer service is horrible Brock is a $#*! no fax machine. Note while talking to customer service they want all information as all dumb $#*! retailers. This country has gone to hell from sorry government send the SOBS back Taiwan OER junk never correct always a problem not fitting correctly. Note delivered wrong parts to different address from that $#*!ing UPS another sorry company as well as Federal Express broken windshields from UPS as well As Federal Express. Customer service a hold they don't care they use to be good for now all mail order scams. They will always have problems retail world sucks dummys at all store especially Walmart. The old man Sam Walton Walmart is dead were glad the old thief. $#*! sucker butt $#*!er homosexuals. Long leg Louie agrees Beagle Golden retriever

Wrong parts

Called sales so I could ensure I got the correct parts and that they were in stock. Neither of which happened. Wrong parts delivered and other parts not delivered. Only thing they wanted to do to make it right was give me free shipping on my next purchase. I'm not making one

I placed an order nov 7 for next day delivery no problem i sent the item back nov. 9 2022 it is now dec. 11 2022 and no signs of my money back.i been emailing summits customer service now they stop answering. I gave them my tracking # order # and still nothing.

Awesome company

I have ordered several things from Summit lately and have had GREAT transactions. They usually have what you need when others don't. It may be a little more expensive but its there. When they say they are shipping out "next day" - that's exactly what they mean. I've paid for next day services before and didn't get the parts for a week. With Summit, the items came earlier than anticipated. I have had nothing but good service from Summit.

Shipping issues

Do you guys not review your shippers (GLS), my next order will be cancelled if you use them to ship my parts again. 58 reviews, only 1 has 3 stars the rest is 1 Star, does that not tell you their incompetent. I've never seen a company as unorganized as GLS shipping, I can't believe that a company like Summit Racing would use a shipping company with reviews like that or are you just trying to lose Business.
