I ordered several items over two weeks ago, my order still state processing. There is a contact number listed, when I call I am hold for over hour, I am not able to reach a representative. How long do it take to get items is it weeks or months I am looking for answers since I am unable to reach anyone at swap.
I placed an order 15 days ago. I've repeatedly contacted customer service by email asking them why my order is still processing. I was advised they are behind. 15days? Today they tell me it was delivered and it wasn't. I've been trying to get a refund and they just give me the run around. Don't buy here.
I wish I would have listened to all the bad reviews. This is definitely a scam. But y'all won't get over on me again.
I've been purchasing large orders for over 6 months for my resale store. 75% plus gets returned because it looks WAY better in the pictures. Its CONTINUOSLY DISAPPOINTING. They cram it into plastic bags. It may look good when they recieve it and photograph it but they ruin it by shoving it in plastic bags which seems unnecessary. It comes wrinkled, crushed, dirty, stained, stretched, pilled, warn completely out and then they only give you a credit. I have $200 in credit that I don't even want to spend. I just want a return. The site doesn't always operate properly. There is NO PHONE NUMBER for customer service. They return one item at a time and it's hard to keep your books. You don't know what's really returned or credited. They have email customer service that takes days and shipments are out a minimum of two weeks. It's a time consuming venture fir a professional and you cannot even depend on them sending the right product.
I ordered from swap.com a few years ago for my daughter, Great experience. I ordered recently for my husband (a bunch of Ralph Lauren polos), I usually check reviews BEFORE ordering but due to my great experience before, I didn't check until sometime after I had already placed my order. Whew, All of these bad reviews had me nervous! I ordered on 3. 4. 22 and received my order on 3. 18. 22, The site says they're experiencing shipping delays so I honestly wasn't even expecting it to be just 2 weeks. Now about the items, Every single shirt is in PERFECT condition and saved me tons of money! Especially with the 40% off referral! Both times I have received all of my items (in amazing condition) and in a timely manner! I would definitely shop swap.com over and over again! Not a fake review lol!
Be prepared to wait FOREVER, months, for delivery and even longer for return refunds. Products themselves are generally good and true to descriptions, sizing can be an issue however.
I ordered an item on 12/15/21. It is now 61/2 weeks later and still do not have my order. Web site states they are behind, now processing orders placed between 12/27 and 1/6/22. But yet my order still has not processed! I have contacted 5 times with only an automated response to check web site for frequently asked questions!. I am now requesting a refund. I don't have high hopes of receiving it though. Learn from my mistake, stay away. They will never see me again.
Swap used to be a great company - great finds and prices, reasonably fast shipping, very fair return policies, etc. I don't know what happened, but over the latter half of 2021 their business crashed and burned. I ordered items on 1/13/22, and soon thereafter was told they were way behind on getting orders out. No worries. Then as they're about to ship I get an email stating that half my order was no longer available and they would get my refund to me "as soon as possible," but no date was given. Why did I have to wait 3 weeks to hear the items wouldn't be available? That's evidence of a completely broken inventory system. Tldr: It's likely you won't get what you ordered.
I ordered two items from this company and as of 1/27/2022 it has been 2 months and the items have not even shipped. Been ordering from Swap for 4 years and had no problem but as of about 1 year ago Swap has basically stopped shipping items. The worse part is that I have written customer service 5 times and they have never gotten back to me to explain what is going on. Wish I could give them no stars. STAY FAR AWAY from this company. Also, You'll also have to use your credit card company to get a refund.
I was thinking of giving swap.com a fourth try (I'm not sure why, must be an extremely slow learner). They changed the site but not in a good way. The filters are useless. The options aren't accurate or coherent. Example, type has a mix of actual types of clothing, brand names, strings of symbols that mean nothing. The size options were crazy as well. Honestly, just give it up and close the doors.
DO NOT order from this website! I placed an order on November 29th and my order still says it's "processing." I checked their website and it says that they are currently shipping orders that were placed on 11/30-12/01, yet my order has not changed from processing since the moment I placed it. I've sent at least four emails asking for any updates, starting about a week and a half ago and have heard nothing back. Their customer service number does not work, no one answers. You cannot even contact them, basically. Now, I'm asking for a refund of the $64 I spent here on clothing. No idea if I'll ever even hear anything back.
Weeks after you pay for items, this company cancels and refunds several items out of your order. Customers are routinely receiving items more than 3 weeks, even more than a month, after they ordered their items-not at all within the advertised time frame at time of purchase - which is illegal. Many items damaged, not as described, and their return system does not work. They do not respond to emails in a reasonable time frame, if at all. What to do? The BBB has no teeth. Report them to the Federal Trade Commission (just google FTC report fraud), the Illinois Attorney General, and file a chargeback with your credit card company. And spread the word.
I placed an order on 11/24/21. On 12/15/21 and 12/16/21, I received emails that my items were "about to ship" but the site was dealing with a lot of backlogged orders from their Black Friday Sale. Fine, but I was also notified that two of the six items I ordered (that I was most excited about) were no longer available and that I would be refunded for them. There was no further explanation. According to other reviews I have now read, this is a common occurrence. I have never purchased an item from another company and had the order go through to only be told that item is not available. That is absolutely crazy!
The only positive is that I was refunded quickly on 12/20/21.
One of the emails had stated that they would send a shipping confirmation emaiI. There was no further email before I received the remainder of my order on 12/21/21. The clothes were okay. I will not be ordering again. I receive tons of promotional emails and texts that I will be unsubscribing to. This company needs to work on figuring out why so many orders are not being completed. There are also tons of mispellings/mislabelings on the site. More effort should go into correcting these problems instead of the constant promotional material.
It's officially been a month since I ordered from Swap. Surprise surprise, my order is still processing. These did not come in time for Christmas or my upcoming trip.
I have been a frequent and loyal customer of swap.com for years and always gave them 5 Stars for value and customer service…but NOT anymore! I'm not sure what's happened but the entire year of 2021 has been a complete failure in service on their part and a constant source of frustration for me. Orders have taken up to TWO months to be shipped out from date of purchase. Returns I sent back months ago are still NOT processed. And customer service is nearly nonexistent! I have had maybe 1/4 or less of my inquiries about orders/returns responded to! Literally NO return response from customer service regarding important and legitimate issues. Money I've spent with their company but have received NOTHING in return. Oh! And about 1/3 of the items I ordered (in multiple orders) were suddenly ‘unavailable' or went suddenly missing by the time items were finally shipped (over a month later in most cases). I was eventually refunded but cannot fathom how this regularly happens with this company. I suspect they won't be around for much longer—I've already switched to ThreadUp where customer service is awesome!
Ordered on Dec 6. Received email stating delivery Dec 13-16. No arrival. Customer Service said I need to allow 10-15 business days for an update to ready to ship. No update. No reply. They also said that shipping could take another 5-15 days to arrive after they are "ready to ship". I have shopped here for YEARS... continuously going down hill. They should not send emails w phony dates for delivery... also on their app you can add expedited shipping which I paid for last order, to complain about and they said they did away with expedited shipping last year asked me what kind of phone I use cuz the app had to be updated. I asked for a refund for that shipping. Never got it. Gave them one last chance. I could have walked to their warehouse and back by now.

If you expect to ever receive your order, then I would find a different place to shop. I placed an order on 12/8/2021, during checkout there was a message saying, shipping is taking longer than normal. So, to expect upto 5 extra business days for them to process your order. Today I checked the progress of my order, they are just now packing orders from 11/25/2021. If I had known, I would be waiting a month or so for my order, I would have never placed it. It is not my fault; they cannot keep enough employees to keep the place running. I have sent two email requests, neither have been answered. I spent over an hour on the phone trying to get someone, gave up after an hour waiting. Now I have filed a complaint with the BBB, I recommend everyone do that.
I had ordered from them in the past a few times, everything went great. Guess they expanded too quick and now the customers are paying for it!
If I could rate zero stars I would. I have ordered in the past and to this day have never received any package. My aunt recently ordered from them and of course she has waited over a month and still nothing. I also want to point out that every review on their site appears to be fake. Not one single review is negative. This company is criminal and needs to be shut down.
I've personally used swap.com numerous times and I have never had any problems with them. They provide amazing second handed clothing and accessories for prices even cheaper than goodwill. Not to mention they ALWAYS have sales and promo codes so you're bound to get clothing for a few dollars each as well as for free shipping. I've found brands such as Juicy Couture, GAP, as well as VS. I especially love how they describe each listing on their website accurately based on the items condition. My only problem would be the fact that trying to search for a specific item as well filter items is kind of annoying, a lot of the time it will return no result.
Answer: I have only placed one order so far. I ordered 10 blouses. I returned 5, due to size issues. All 10 blouses were nice, but 5 did not fit quite right due to different manufacturer's. You need to get an RMA # for returns. I was promptly refunded my money for the 5 blouses. I would order again in the future. I am not aware of any return quantity restrictions. Hope this helps.
Answer: If you want to sell clothes, all the information is on their website. Basically, they get a percentage and then they pay you thru an existing PayPal account that you set up.

Answer: Same here, I sent a box in June and have received nothing nothing saying it was accepted or rejected absolutely nothing. I've sent 5 emails and nothing. I will be contacting the better business bureau as well.
Answer: I don't think so. I've sold and from my experience it varies. The things that I thought would sell first, haven't sold yet. It varies by what people are looking for at the time. I've bought all different seasons at random times. I buy by what's a great deal. When selling, group like items together. I've noticed multiple things sell first.

Answer: There's no way for them to go over prices. They have to see the items and determine from going over it, if it's acceptable, once it's accepted, then you have to determine the price you want to sell it for. You could try searching on their site for similar items and see what they are priced at. I did notice when pricing my items that I'd get a little notice with recommended prices, which was very helpful. I didn't have a good experience selling but many others have. Make sure you take pictures of your items, that's very important. I appreciated that their site is set up to allow you to take back your items if you changed your mind about selling them. I'm in the process of getting back my items. Hopefully it works out well and I get all my items back.
