So amazing product with great features. Its very easily to service are so good and very reasonable price to products are available on this website.
Good place to buy tech items. I always buy my new phones from this website. You have the option of buying it in a variety of conditions, but I always buy in mint/new condition. It is worth checking out and comparing prices for things you are looking for.
You can be doing good business on swappa I was rated 4.5 stars always refunded buyer promptly if issues etc. There was no reason why my account should have been banned. I have had a ebay account for 6 years selling electronic like I do on swappa and never even came close to losing my account. But I have lost 3 swappa accounts with no explanation to why I lost any off them. This is how I make a living and they can't even give me a 30 second response of what I did wrong. $#*! them $#*! this company it's trash. Will continue to make accounts and waste their time
Useless as it's a stolen phone—-after 30 attempts over 5 DAYS to get a response from seller & SWAPPA-this is sellers response—-

'SO THERE IS NO NEED TO BE WORRIED ABOUT'?'
I HAVE NO WORKING PHONE AND YOU SOLD ME A STOLEN PHONE
I BELIEVE TPSC AND SWAPPA ARE RUNNING A SCAM BUSINESS AND THE BBB IS DEALING WITH THEM NOW.
I will never use Swappa.
They charge their service fee (3% for both of sellers and buyers), which makes sense.
But they subtract "sales tax" calculated based on "buyer's" address.
I was a seller in Oregon (no sales tax), sold an item to buyer in Florida (sales tax is 6%).
The buyer paid sales tax as his usual. But they said that can't prove Swappa pays sales tax to FL state.
I wonder it went to their pocket...
So i had purchased a phone through a seller on swappa...
I get the phone and try to activate it and my carrier says it's stolen!... the carrier of the phone was at&t and my carrier is cricket. So it should work!
The seller admits in the comments that the phone has been locked out by at&t and can't be activated! But instead of shipping me a phone right away they're waiting for me to send the STOLEN! Phone back!
I contacted Rob from swappa and he acted like he could care less! So not only do they not protect the buyer but they don't care if the crap is stolen!
NEVER AGAIN!
I like Swappa! Good place for phones, laptops, computers. Different sellers from home or businesses! Refurbished is the new new!
I tried to sell an iPAD on Swappa. It was in excellent condition, kept in a case, with a tempered screen protector and sold with all accessories. They would not allow me to post it. The said there might be a chip on it. I sent them at least 12 photos and responded to every request they had. They stopped responding altogether and didn't post the iPAD. Huge waste of time to use that site plus they ask to link to your PayPal account. AVOID IT.
Swappa will support the buyers if phone is not as described.
We bought a phone that had scratches on it that were not shown on the seller's ad on Swappa. The volume button and speaker did not work well at all. The seller, then Swappa refused to do anything about it. Returned the phone and then filed dispute with Paypal. Then escalated right away to Paypal's dispute department. As soon as Fedex showed delivery on the phone back to the seller and Paypal ruled in my favor. So the hell away from Swappa.
Samsung Z Flip 5G Refurbished Phone
I purchased a Samsung Z Flip 5G phone over a year ago from a seller from Tuscon, Arizona.
Although the phone came in a bright shiny new box and cellophane wrap around the hone and phone screen and was supposed to be new.
This phone has crapped out after about a year with a big black blob on the touch screen which makes the phone not usable.
Repairs to the phone are the same price as buying a new one.
Furthermore, since this is a US product, where I live in Canada, Samsung Canada will not cover the phone's warranty I would have to have the warranty covered in USA.
However, this refurbished phone which i bought on Swappa advertised as new became inoperable one month after the warranty had expired.
If you live in Canada I would avoid this Swappa website and buy in Canada.
All Swappa sells is refurbished junk posed as brand new which will eventually break down and you will lose your money.
Buyer beware! Avoid this Swappa Website Canada!
The idea is really useful nowadays. I could buy an iphone at a really affordable price. I had no issues related to delivery. It was fast and secure, so my cell phone came in a perfect condition.
My go-to website for pre-owned cellphones. When assistance is required, the Swappa team is willing to assist. Excellent protection for both buyers and sellers. The phone specifications are set to high standards. Because phone flipper merchants don't disclose enough specific information regarding a phone's real condition, such as screen condition and battery health, and their reviews tend to be subjective and overrated, I prefer to buy from individual sellers.
I cannot believe how terrible this place is. They absolutely REFUSE to help you after a sale. I got a generic message saying work it out with the seller who obviously will not work it out with me and then the seller ignored me. Now Swappa support ignores me. They literally dont care about you once the sale completes. They made their money on the sale so tough luck if you have a problem. Despite the seller breaking the site rules and everything they still wont respond to me. Buy or sell phones locally or on another major site. Swappa is a scam. They dont honor their site rules.
Man I never do these but 2 great deals that the streets couldn't match I figured I probably should review. And get called a liar. Never sold here never will. 95% of the time I Have a buyer cuz I'm legit. I don't even make people fight. If I get a good customer they have first rights. So yeah Diogenes was born to soon. SWAPPA calls me a liar. I still will buy but they're name is irrelevant as in-house got a good deal where you get it?" "YOU know the internet. I got it marked on another device. Actually I think WALMART since they had to do AMAZON. They will take a loss on phones cuz now I ll remember them.
Je dois dire, incroyablement facile, simple et rapide aussi. Rien de plus que d'obtenir votre devis, de l'expédier, d'attendre et d'être payé. Je le recommande vraiment.
I bought an iPhone XS sold as "like new." 4 months after purchase the screen literally fell off. Took the phone to authorized Apple repair. They asked "did you know this had the screen replaced with a non-Apple part?" (No - it was sold as "like new"). Besides not being an Apple part they advised it was not a good aftermarket one and it was installed wrong, thus why it fell off. The repair cost me about $280. I contacted the seller who would do nothing. Swappa asked me to pursue the issue with PayPal and my credit card company, neither of which could help for various reasons that had nothing to do with the facts, rather process, timing, etc. I then asked Swappa to step in so as to maintain the integrity of their platform - they refused to do anything. Recently I decided to sell this phone and when going to list it I went to the battery health page and there was a message there that revealed/warned the the battery had also been replaced with a non-Apple battery. Now how can I sell it and get a decent price with that defect!? I again contacted Swappa and again they will do nothing! This time they say I took too long to bring it up. Yes it is just over a year, but I had no reason to check the battery health until prompted to do that as I was about to list the phone for sale. In addition to all that, on the similar review I posted on TrustPilot they responded by saying I had treated their customer service people badly. While I am certainly angry and would have expressed my shock at their horrible service/refusal to help me get relief from an obviously bad seller, I do not think that I was abusive or whatever word they used. To me their response was a lame attempt to undermine the credibility of my review - sad indeed. Not a company I can recommend anyone take their chances with.
I've spent $3000+ on this website I bought a cheap xbox for like $150 and a bunch of MacBooks yet swappa deleted my account and claims that I charged back on the xbox which did not happen I told them I would provide my bank statements showing I had paid in full for the xbox. They stopped responding. I don't know where they got their information from but it wasn't accurate and its odd they can run a business that way. Not sure why I would charge back a $150 xbox when I spend thousands of dollars on high end computers it makes absolutely 0 sense.
NOT RECOMMENDED, I BOUGHT IPHONE 11 RED, AND I DID PAY $150 FOR REPAIR COST NOT HAPPY MY PURCHASE. DO NOT BUY AGAIN FROM SWAPPA NOT HAPPY YOUR MONEY IS NOT PROTECTION,

Answer: Very safe, I've bought and sold over 40 phones using Swappa and have only had one problem... When that happened both Swappa and PayPal had my back.
Answer: Yes, you should remove and keep your SIM card when you sell your used phone. SIM cards are tied to your account, so are not transferable. More information and why in our FAQ: https://swappa.com/faq/sell/sim_card_included
Answer: Because they are scammers and a holes. They can't be bothered with you. Awful site. Use eBay instead.
Answer: Swappa guarantees it which goes above and beyond paypal. They are running IMEI checks and they do a great job. It's on you when you receive your phone to go through the phone check list to make sure it's good, checking cameras, microphones wfi, bluetooth, water damage check, things like that. Its really worry free buying.
Answer: Contact Swappa support. If an item is not as described by seller, the buyer is entitle to a refund.
Answer: Most sellers don't ship to African countries. This is because they include a reasonable fee on their prices to cover for shipping in the US, I guess shipping to Africa would come at a higher cost and they seem to be avoiding that for whatever reason. However, you can research and register for a freight forwarding company and have your orders shipped to them. In turn, these companies will forward your order to you when they receive it. As I pointed out before, this is something you have to read about and carefully consider. Hope that helps.
The place to buy and sell newish tech. Safety, simplicity and staff-approved listing make Swappa the better way to buy and sell used phones, tablets, laptops, video games, home tech and more.
