They will sell you a premium license for lots of money but wont allow you to create a package that is customized for the price of that license. How do I know? My boss insists that our current licensing does that. Team viewer responds by saying that we have to buy another license to be able to do that.

PLEASE PEOPLE READ THIS & PASS THIS INFO ON TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW & LOVE. TEAMVIEWER QUICKSUPPORT IS A SCAM I REPEAT IT IS A SCAM. DONT CALL PAYPAL OR ANY OTHER COMPANY WITHOUT LOOKING AT REVIEWS FIRST. THIS COMPANY GOT ME, DUE TO TRING TO CALL PAYPAL CANCELING ANOTHER ORDER THAT I NO LONGER WANTED. A FOREIGN INDIAN LADY ANSWERED THE PHONE, WALKED ME THROUGH THE PROCESS OF GOING INTO NOT ONLY MY PHONE THROUGH THE SCAM APP BUT GOT INTO MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT & HACKED INTO MY ACCOUNT. PAYPAL JUST SENT ME A BILL, OHHHHH NO NOT ME HONEY. I REPORTED THE INFORMATION TO MY BANK, PAYPAL & NOW TO YOU! AS I ALWAYS TYPE I WORK TO HARD FOR MY $$$$ TO BE TAKEN AWAY BY SOMEONE ELSE. KARMA WILL COME VISIT THAT PERSON OR PEOPLE FOR DOING THIS... I TRULY BELIEVE THIS IN MY. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT ALLOW PEOPLE TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOUR HARD WORK/ $$$. Would give 0 stars if possible. Have been a customer for more than 5 years, paying yearly business subscriptions. Have not received invoice for one of the subscriptions, no communication, no reminders. When tried to use that subscription (on pc not often used), could not use the software, it requested the invoice nr to make the payment. Tried to find the invoice nr, no emails, checked spam folders. Nothing. Received a very nasty and rude letter from a debt collector company in Germany, threatening, accusing, insisting we will pay. Added 100Euros to the costs. Phoned their customer support, asked invoice nr. Said it was emailed. Asked for proof that it was emailed. Still have not received any proof or any invoice. Want to cancel, cannot because I do not have the invoice nr. Customer service staff very rude, multiple times disconnected phone during conversation, had to phone back again and again. Have been reading many reviews on all kinds of social media channels, seems there is a very big problem with Teamviewer, my guess they are in big financial trouble. Trying to cancel my subscriptions, must do it with a ticket, customer service said she will open a ticket and forward the proof of the invoice and reminders sent. It has been days. Still waiting.
Read some comments people have been trying for years to unsubscribe, others give 364 days notice (only need 28), yet Teamviewer still deducted the yearly sub.
Stay clear from this one, there is clearly something very wrong
Update: managed to get into the portal (finally), cannot cancel here. Phoned customer service again. Requested again the proof that I was emailed the invoice and the reminders. Received a partial spreadsheet as proof, no SMTP time/date stamp.
Anyone can create a spreadsheet.
Been told you cannot cancel via portal (as per their FB instructions) must be done via written email (by a digital company)
Have now emailed and cancelled all the subscriptions. Waiting for a reply
Some comments said they tried for 3 years to unsubscribe

Shady actions by them

I have never used this service before but get an email saying I'm on auto-renew and that my card will be automatically charged some 400 odd $ tomorrow. I called a number on the email, got someone not from this country who told me to type an website address in my computer and she would help me to cancel. I told her I wasn't comfortable going to a website I hadn't heard of before from an email and person whom I also don't know or heard of before. I have been retired for 9 years and do not do much on my computers, I checked back through my bank statements and don't see where I've ever been charged or had signed up for anything. BEWARE, NOT ALL SEEMS RIGHT.

They are forcing you to pay for subscriptions that you don't want or don't use. Please stay away from them.
I paid for one year subscription. I didn't pay after that beacuse i didn't want to use their software anymore. They are sending me invoices and have contacted some German debt collecting company "Creditreform" to force me to pay!

Worst Support and License trap
Worst company I have ever purchased any license from. When you buy a license €400+ euro it will be set to auto renew. As a company i have tones of subscriptions. All sending mail about upcoming renewal. I did not get any and after chasing 3 times they do not provide proof they did send (mail-log). I contacted them on the day license was renewed and invoice sent to be paid within 14 days. I asked them to cancel the license, but they keep referring to small text in terms and condition. I would never recommend this company to anyone as for me the support and service you get, is as important as the product it self and their business model is to trap you and later point to small letters, even if what I said make sense. They say they cant change it. Really?
Its not even paid and i contact them the day the invoice was sent. If they cant change it I would suggest they update their license control software to include a deactivate button. I am quite sure that button will work if not paid!(magically)

Total scam do not use this company.
We paid a annual Subscription and we decided not to continue and they charged us for another year subscription and we never authorised and there is no way speaking to this people they are complete useless and they referred our details to the collection agency do not use this company they are very very bad

They force you to upgrade then make it incredibly difficult to re-activate your business account. My account switched to free and I can't get my business account to work anymore. They won't reply to my tickets and I can't get anybody on the phone. I feel totally ripped off for my $800.00. I have business to do so I will have to go elsewhere and pay again.

DON"T DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!

The software was great when it worked.
The customer service was the most appalling i have EVER received.

They tried to renew my subscription but without notifying me in advance, just took the money.
I ended up having to get it back via the bank.

They offered no apology, no way of making it right and basically threatened me that i had to pay.

I didn't and they won't be getting it.

Absolute joke of a company.

Poor business practices

Very poor business practices: Forcefully feeding ads to their paying customers about further paid upgrades. Also a very shoddy pricing model for the products. Choose a competing product instead who actually see their customers as something more as a bag of money!

Privacy concerns

I've used TV for years now to move files. Suddenly it's decided my activity is business related. Yes! I'm guilty! I moved a couple of work files last week. But... it's quite alarming that TV monitors what's being shared evidently.

TV has offered a free use account for years. They still do. When trying to use it, you are told you are using for commercial purposes which is not true and it is disabled. They advise an option to restore the free account but once the option is taken, there is no action on their part. They are doing this to all Free accounts with no warning, explanation, or correction. There is no response from TV on the issue. Strongly advise using a competive product.

Hello, I wanted to give my quick comments on Teamviewer. I use Teamviewer very occasionally to help my sister in Canada who has autistic child back up medical files and emails with doctors. (There are years of info, related to her autistic son that she cannot afford to lose.) So, once every 2 months I would use TeamViewer, to access her computer, tidy it up and move her files and documents and photos the cloud.

*** Now Teamviewer cuts my connection every 2 mins (unworkable!) and they state that my use has been detected as commercial use! (say what?) Worse there is NO live or chat support for personal Teamviewer users. You have to go to their website and submit messages and wait a few days (I think?)

It is not a very friendly process and I just learned that you can ask for a reset of your Teamviewer back to 'personal use'. To do this you have to go to "https :// www.teamviewer. Com/en/reset-management/", get your device validated, re-log on, complete the PDF stating you are a personal user, print out, sign, scan the signed PDF, and re-upload to the same website and then wait 2 days for a response! The alternative is to pay 49 $ a month (yikes) it seems for a license (which doesn't make sense if I only use Teamviewer occasionally and clearly for personal use.)

So... I am disappointed with Teamviewer and what seems to be a desire to just charge more and more... or force people the commercial route direction for large monthly premiums.

*** After my TeamViewer fiasco at being branded a commercial user, I chatted with Kara from "ANYDESK". ANYDESK seems to be a nice alternative and it is free for personal use (https://anydesk.com/en/downloads). I will test their software 1 or 2 times and, if I like it, then I don't mind going the LITE version for $10 a month even thought i could use the personal version for free. I would like to encourage companies that are sensitive to people's needs and are not so greedy and that don't waste my time.

I used the free version of Team Viewer but ultimately needed to purchase the paid version. Happened to be out of town, and my account was flagged as "commercial". So, being between the proverbial "rock and a hard place", I purchased an annual license. Coming to the end of the year, I found another program that met my needs for 10% of the price. But found out that Team Viewer had "automatically" charged me for a second year. When I contacted them, the emailed back that I had failed to cancel a month before the contract ended, and so was out the money.:>( "Read the fine print", they said! So... I would say that Team Viewer is a good program, but has more features than I need, and costs more than I can afford. Getting in touch with them by phone is unreasonably difficult if not well nigh impossible. SO WATCH OUT!
If someone from Team Viewer would happen to read this, my name is Jim Siegrist. And I will be very glad to add to this review that you do offer refunds in situations such as mine, if you would offer to refund.

Awful experience

So disappointed, have been a customer for several tarts. I raised a ticke about my bill- it was 10 days later so I called as needed to sort this out. They now say it is too late for me to downgrade to remote access as I use teamviewer for one client only. I feel the whole experience is disjointed and over priced especially at the present climate.

Unauthorised renew my license. When contact them do not allow cancellation.

They automatic set your account to renew without permission.

Cancellation only through ticketing system and slow response.

Worse company in remote support.

I have been waiting for over an hour to ask a simple question as to why my account was reactivated when payment take. Also to find out why they do not have a more reactive communication when there is a delay in payment especially due to COVID? Obviously they do not understand the importance of this type of communication in times like these!

I'm hostage to this company. First try to find them; get your popcorn. Then they tell you the process but it doesn't work. Plan on giving 3 hours of your life to get rid of it. "It's easy" says my employer. Session never even worked and woud'nt hook up and now hours of misery. They want to make you pay for leaving them.
