I'm a jewish woman and I'm horrified at what Vimeo has done to me.

I used to watched a pro-Jewish pro-peace channel on Vimeo, I knew people that paid money to buy some of the content, and I enjoyed the free parts of it as well. However, this all changed when Vimeo decided to COWARDLY BAN the channel, STEALING $5,000 in the process! The person affected was a Native American who is an immigrant to Japan.

If ROBBING $5,000 from a Native American who makes pro-peace videos is acceptable, then there is something wrong with the world. My husband Fabian is thinking of suing to get some of that STOLEN money back.

I bought several videos on Ryan Dawson's channel, a frequent guest on Press TV. Vimeo has caved in to the partisan Israel-first Zionist pressure groups, the ilk of the ADL or SPLC, which advocate conflating the definition of anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism, to prevent any legitimate criticism of Israel, allowing the country to get away with the state-sponsored murder of innocent civilians. Shame on Vimeo for its complicity and horrible karma.

I "BOUGHT" several videos over 3 years, no problems. Then when I went to watch one of my "PURCHASES" it tells me "MY OWNED" video is "Gone baby, Gone." (Is that their cute way of saying I'm an idiot for buying videos on vimeo.com?) NO WARNING. NO REFUND. NO EXPLANATION. Waiting to here back from my email to remedy the situation. I'd think twice about throwing money at this disservice. Even if they give me my money back or allow me to obtain a copy that I already bought, which they have not, I don't trust them now, and defiantly won't "purchase" again. Am I supposed to check everyday to make sure none of my purchases are "gone baby, gone"? Where they hoping I wouldn't notice? Bad Faith, Vimeo. "Buy now" doesn't mean it will be yours. Only Rent if there really is no other way to watch, or download right away. I just heard from the creator of the video that they stole $5k he was owed and deleted his videos no warning, but waited for the last possible moment before he was to collect the money people paid that month. It was an anti-war movie. I'm done with Vimeo.

Vimeo thinks you're too dumb to think for yourself so to protect you from bad think they censor intelligent discussion of banded topics. It's a great business model if you're planning to operate in China or North Korea. But in the USA I find it disgusting.

Vimeo has taken down the channel of my favorite creator (Ryan Dawson) without warning and they are withholding $5,000 from him and his family. His videos are 100% factual. There is not a shred of false information in any of his videos. A company banning a creator for reporting facts! Only in 2018. This is a form of speech control. I understand if he was spreading disinfo, but he's not, and they know he's not. Ryan Dawson is an ANTI-WAR news reporter/content creator, and they banned him. Disgusting decision these tech companies are making. Banning people for reporting FACTS! 1984 is happening folks. We were warned about this.
