Ordered part. Didn't hear anything about shipping for 4 days. Called, was told order was on hold, transferred call and dropped. Called back, straight to voicemail 3 times. Price for part had increased by 40% on their website, so they probably just didn't want to take the loss from the drop-shipper.
Told me the order would take about two months said they were in stock and once I pay for them been waiting almost two months they tell my the rims are on back order and won't be available until 5 months later
OMG. This place is HORRIBLE. Do not be fooled by all the youtube videos and and fancy web page. AND PLEASE Do not do a mail order for a tune for your car. It does not work and they WILL not help u after they have your $1,300.00 bucks! When you call, they hang up the phone on the second ring - so they do not even want to find out what the problem is. Remember, after they have your money, they care less. DONT BE FOOLED. If u live there in AZ in their face, may be different. If i cud give zero stars, i would.
They made a mistake and inspite of every email saying they are 100% committed to customer satisfaction as well as their on hold recording saying the same. They totally left me hanging. They apologized for their mistake offered me a small discount for the missing part, which I found cheaper even with Thier discount on both eBay and Amazon. They really didn't seem to care and were cocky and arrogant in their replies.
I'd like to share my extremely frustrating experience with Vivid Racing, to inform potential customers and prevent others from falling victim to their unethical practices.
On 6th April 2022, I ordered a front and rear sway bar kit and an ECU tuning upgarde for my car. Following my purchase, I was repeatedly ignored when I requested a tracking number for the shipping of the item. Eventually, I received a response with a tracking number about 3 months after the purchase, but it didn't work properly. Throughout this process, I was frequently met with silence when seeking information, and when I did receive a response, it was filled with empty promises about the arrival of the part. The ECU arrived yet the sway bar kit bever came.
After more than a year of waiting, on 27th April 2023, I received an email informing me that they would refund the amount of the item, as they had failed to ship it to me. To my dismay, I noticed that the refund amount was only $637.14, which was the price of the sway bar kit, excluding the $325 I had paid for shipping. However, since the sway bar kit was never actually shipped, it is completely unreasonable for them to withhold the shipping fee.
I opened a buyers dispute via Paypal within the dispute period, yet they dragged the promises of delivery out long enough that the dispute was closed and that my buyers protection lapsed, I'm sure this wasn't a mistake and is something they've become quite skilled at doing.
Even the "real customer reviews" that they have on their website are fake, they have an average of 4.7? When every other legitimate review website tells a different story, you can't leave a review on their website if you try, this alone screams scam.
Vivid Racing has caused me immense stress and wasted a significant amount of my time. Their actions are a clear indication of their unethical behavior and intent to scam their customers. I strongly urge potential customers to avoid dealing with this company at all costs. There are other reputable automotive parts distributors that prioritize customer satisfaction and maintain ethical business practices. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment – steer clear of Vivid Racing.
When you call Vivid Racing the recording says, "Please ask one of our specialists before ordering parts"! I did that mid April and the "specialist" said the King Shocks were sold in pairs! So I went through Affirm on a loan based off their knowledge and them being "specialist" I purchased what i thought was a complete set of King Shocks!. So now I'm in a loan for half a set and they choose to give me the runaround for weeks and everyday they say they will call me tomorrow and they never do! DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE!
This company is the biggest scam i ever came across in the retail market. Ordered a transmission bearing kit. A week later i hadn't received a shipping notice and when i emailed, they wouldn't commit to a ship date so i cancelled the order and asked for a refund. Their policy states that refunds are issued in 5-7 days. It's been over 2 weeks and they answer emails with canned responses about how they're looking into it. They won't answer the phone and their automated answering is a total scam. Tells you to leave a number and then won't let you do it. Emails promising to return calls (when you get thru to leave a message) but they never do. IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY, DO NOT! ORDER ANYTHING FROM HERE. THEY ARE NOTHING SHORT OF THIEVES AND LIARS!
Ordered a Rock Hard bumper for $1649.95 with promo shipping $10.00. Order was placed on hold. After messaging them, they said it was a mistake and the freight cost was $480.
Got this response "I see what happened here, sorry for the delay. It looks like the promo currently listed on the website for the bumper does not apply due to the item needing to go freight. Freight shipping o|n this item we have been quoted at $300 for a business address or $480 for residential due to needing scheduling and a lift gate for drop off. To continue with the order we would need the balance of shipping paid for, we do apologize for this and will have the website updated asap. I understand this is a jump up and I can get the payment voided with my accounting team asap."
They said they would update the website. It now has a promo shipping $20.00
Took weeks to receive any communication about parts ordered being on backorder. Terrible customer service. Took weeks to receive my refund. Returning calls to staff emails within minutes gets no response or reply. The absolute worse company I've dealt with in years! Buyers beware, buy elsewhere!
Answer: They totally suck. O customer service at all. It's 2 months and I'm still waiting. Once I respond to cancel my order, all of a sudden they briefly wake up. Now they are back to no response. They give a bogus tracking number linked to no real shipper.

Answer: I cancelled my order 3 days ago. They shipped the order to the wrong address, but despite being COMPLETELY out of my control, they refused to give me a refund until they got the order (that THEY themselves had NO idea of the location) until they got it back. The FedEx tracking info provided said they got the shipment back AND signed for it 3 days ago, but I still have no refund. Can't get through to Customer Service via chat, phone, or email. I'm filing a complaint with PayPal.
