I cannot tell you how disappointed I am. I have not received my product after 31 days, when estimated delivery was 11 to 19 business days, no tracking info, no response despite my efforts to contact them at every resource listed on the website. The only thing I did receive is a debit to my bank account.
I notice the overwhelming number of one star reviews given by others, so I also recommend that people do not patronize this business.
Hello. My name is Jonathan J. Up until this month, I've always had a positive experience ordering online, then I went to "World of Judaica." On November 11, I ordered the "Soncino Talmud DVD-ROM" for $134.00. They say it would arrive to my house in the U.S. "Between 11 to 20-Business Days." However, as of today, it has been 1-month and 5-days and my order status is still in "Fullfillment." When contacting them by email, they said they would be get back, which was a week ago. Trying to call their customer service with no response and emailing them with no response, has left me very angry and betrayed by this business. I have alot of respect for the State of Israel and for Israeli Businesses. However, I don't have any respect or tolerance for being mislead, ignored, snubbed, and lied to when I paid good money for a simple item, especially when it comes to ordering the Talmud. I shoudn't have to write a review like this, but I feed very angry about the methods I've have treated with my business. (If World of Judaica reads this, I dont want the patronizing, condescending "thank you for your feedback," I just want my product that I paid for.
It has now been 20 working days since placing my small order from World of judaica. Although being advised via the order confirmation, i am yet to receive any kind of update on where my product is?! On the website it states my order is 'in fulfillment'... basically meaning it hasn't been 'processed' and they are waiting to receive my product from their suppliers. Why advise customers estimated DELIVERY between 11-19 working days when mine hasn't even been shipped on the 20th working day?! Despite numerous emails i have had NO response at all! Absolute disgrace! I would advise anyone not to use this service!
I ordered a yad for my nephew's Bar Mitzvah in plenty of time to arrive. Needless to say, he had no yad for his Bar Mitzvah. I've never received such terrible service from a company. I've called twice and sent an email and no response. World of Judaica employees, I don't know how you sleep at night taking people's money for special occasions and then not delivering. You should be ASHAMED of yourselves. Do me a favor, don't respond with a fake "a customer service rep will be in touch". I'm having the charges reversed first thing Monday morning!
Great website, great selection, thought I would use this site for a gift for my folks who would be visiting me in Germany in 6 weeks.
So ordered a Menorah, added a few small things so as to get free delivery and the credit card was charged immediately.
Then nothing for 3 weeks. We were then told 'We will tell you when it has been sent'. So delivery 14 days + after ordering is misleading as they need to source the items first.
Then they said order is ready, except the candles, I said ok we wait.
Order arrives, customs form not filled in - World of Judaica say that is not their problem, actually it is, they need to fill in the customs form, leaving it blank is no good. So we had to pay a service fee and duty on the whole bill amount (even though really they shouldn't charge for a Menorah but it is Germany and the bureacracy is a nightmare and I just wanted the box).
Get the box... looks rather small... no Menorah, just the extra stuff we ordered to bump it up for free delivery.
No response to emails. Even strongly worded complaints.
Live chat works and is great, except that is just a bunch of kids who tell you what their comp says, they can't do much else to help as they are at a remote site. They must really love their jobs at the moment with all the problems this company is having.
Anyway, they say the order has been split (don't know what happened to the Menorah when the shipment was only missing the candles) and we have no idea when it will come.
It has now been 10 weeks. I can't see it coming now but will wait till nearer Hannukah before going to Visa for a partial refund which will no doubt be another long fangled process. Although with all the complaints here I am sure they will be aware.
Not sure if they are not paying suppliers who are now not sending them stuff or what but really they shouldn't be selling stuff they haven't got.
They might reply here now that I have complained and say oh order has shipped, but until it is in my hands I am not believing anything, a real shame because if they had said oh sorry this will take 10 weeks I probably would have said well fine, no probs! But no response means people just feel like they have been cheated.
I ordered almost $1,000 worth of items from this website a month ago and was charged immediately. I have not received any of my items nor have my inquiries been responded to. I am days away from disputing the credit card charges as many of the reviews I have read on here do not fill me with confidence that I will ever receive my items or much less get a response from them.
Their "expected" delivery time is totally misleading. I have order a cufflink for a bar mitzvah. They had a question about my credit card's billing address. I responded to their email enquiry within the hour. 4 days later they still did not read my email. I connected with them via chat - the English chat service does not start before 11-12 European time, and that is how finally after 5 days they charged my card. So now we are into business day ten (over two weeks calendar days) - after my card was charged and they have no idea what the delay is - according to the person I just chatted with!
On Sept 12th I have bought for 187 of products.
On Sept 14th, 2 days later, World of Judaica debited my credit card (very efficient...!)
1 week later I have received 1 T. Shirt ONLY!
On November 6th I have still not received anything else than the T. Shirt
World of Judaica never answered my follow ups.
Phase 1 all is great: their web site is great; you will order; you will get debited immediately
Phase 2: it will turn to a nightmare: you will never receive your order; you will try to connect in vain with their customer service; they will send you couple e-mails to make you believe you order will arrive one day.
As of today, never received my order done on September 12th...
HORRIBLE, as in non-existent, customer service!
I ordered and paid for gifts online on Aug. 21. It is now Nov. 1 and items still have not been received and absolutely NO support from Judaica! I don't even know if the expensive gift was insured when it was mailed. I am beyond upset. I want a full refund on my credit card order NOW.
Similar to some of the reviews I just read, the shipping and customer service is intolerable. Ordered a Talit on 10/3, needed it for 10/21. While ordering it and on the email invoice, stated it woudl be delivered in 7-13 days. Needless to say not even close; on 10/13 I told them to add the $30 MORE for expedited shipping and they still couldn't' tell me if it would arrive in time. Cancelled my order and it tool them 8 days to acknowledge the cancellation and another "1-5" to process the refund. Do what I did- go to Shalom House (shalomhouse.com) Fine Judaica (based in CA). We fond an item on line, called, a gentleman was nice enough to check if he could get what we wanted in time and shipped it asap. Was a different item, little more money, came with bag and keepa, but it was in time and they were fantastic to deal with.
My daughter is having her bat mitzvah in December. In early September i purchased a talit for her... waiting and waiting... and waiting I have sent multiple emails. No response. I am now going to call my credit card company and alert them of fraud
We are a jewish community from Romania, and on 26 september 2016 we ordered and payed for 2 Shofars and a kippa 98,10 euros. Until this day we haven't recieved the items. We wrote several emails to the company and also called on their given number "Contact our wonderful customer support team at *******394 for questions and inquiries! ". This company is... NOT OK.
Nobody answered our emails and nobody answered our phone calls... dead end! In hebrew we say: Ze mamash lo beseder hevre! Caha lo osim esek! This way we don't do business...

TERRIBLE. Do NOT buy anything from this site. My items didn't arrive; then they said they were returned but would not provide any tracking info. Finally, the tracking showed my items went to Tampa and I live in Atlanta. They finally credited merchandise, but not the shipping- was I supposed to drive 7 hours to pick it up in TPA? They have even ignored my dispute through PayPal.

I have ordered some items on 10/30/2015."They mentioned those items I had ordered are all in stock! After THREE month! And after my several times following it up they said some of my items are not available. They said order something els and i DID! Again! After a long time they said my new item is Out of stuck too! Please order something els! And I did! Finally! In 10 March 2016 they wrote: The item X you ordered is out of stock for the foreseeable future.! Please order something els! They hold my money ($260 AUD) for several month and after lots of email, contacting PayPal they refund it.
I have emailed them to STOP sending me their Ads but never stopped. So today I decided to write the review."

I am now a second time customer. I am so happy with worldofjudaica I am sure I will come back again. This time I purchased a seder plate for Passover as a present for my mum and dad who were hosting us for the lovely evening. I picked out a Shraga Landesman plate and it turned out to be even more beautiful than in the pictures. I just love to have the wide variety of products to choose from.

My tallis and matching kippah are perfect! Great material and quality. So easy to choose from the large selection. The only thing it took about a week and a half to get to me, but the careful packaging really shows how much you care. God bless you world of judaica!
I purchased 2 bottles of oil on match 26,2016 and I was told it would be between 12-22 days when I receive my product. Well it's June 6 (40 days later) and I have nothing. They won't even respond to my emails. Kind of funny how a Jewish company who believes in God would rob a child of God. But God said "I will repay". Seriously just because it's from Israel doesn't make it any better. There's no magic in oil. It's just what God said for us to do when we pray (Anoint them). Shown your money somewhere else

World of Judaica
I purchased items for my wedding 2 months in advance. When I followed up with World of Judaica on the expected delivery date, the items hadn't been sent.
When the items were sent the following issues appeared;
- no invoice was sent with the items- resulting in weeks of delays and enormous inconveniences
- the items which should have been sent in one colour where two different shades of the same colour
- I ordered 40 of the one item and World of Judaica only delivered 4
I raised the issue with World of Judaica and all they would really do was apologies. In terms of the short delivery, they said that the item was incorrectly market on their website so they would be happy to refund me fore the 4 items delivered (as oppose to sending me the 36 items which I paid for).
I would recommend that no one does business with World of Judaica.

We do our best to keep all of our websites up to date but unfortunately on rare occasions this can happen. Because of this, although you paid for 4 kippot, you thought that you had ordered 40. Answer: Yes, I also received that request from them. My order was over $1000 though. They said it was a security measure due to the relatively large order size and that my billing and shipping address weren't the same. The order went through with no other issues though and was shipped on time so I was overall satisfied with the service.
