I ordered a Hebrew name necklace but wrote my name in English so luckily enough they called me to verify that indeed my intention was for an English name necklace. I actually meant for the name to be written in Hebrew so they prevented me from getting the wrong name.
The customer service representative (Arieh) was so nice and patient, and above all - he called about a week after I got the necklace to make sure that I liked it.
The way I see it - by doing that they've earned me as a customer for life. Way to go!

Bought a tallit + bag. I had a question pre-purchase so used the online chat. The representative was polite and helpful.
The item came as described, nicely packed. The only complaint that I might have is that my tallit took almost 3 weeks to arrive. I sent an email about this to their customer care team and they replied that it was due to delays at the USPS because of Black Friday + Cyber Monday + Holiday season. Possibly right...
I tried to make a purchase from aJudaica.com and had a question regarding shipping. After trying to call twice (no answer…) I looked for alternatives and got to worldofjudaica.com. Not only did they answer the phone (apparently, not trivial these days…), the representative that took my order even added a free dreidel to my Hanukkah menorah. I really appreciate businesses that do such things because it shows that they care and understand that these small gestures are eventually what customers remember. Will buy again.
This is my 3rd purchase from World of Judaica.
The first time I bought from this website was back in February 2013 when I bought a Seder Plate for Passover. Everything went wall back then, no complaints.
My second order was last year before Hanukkah. I ordered a Hanukkah menorah, a pack of 20 plastic dreidels and a pack of Hanukkah candles. My order this time was last (too about 5 weeks to arrive), and when it finally arrived, the Menorah (glass menorah) was broken.
I emailed CS and the were slow to respond. I asked to escalate to the CS manager and ended up having their CEO calling me personally. He was very nice and deeply apologized for the entire situation. He explained that they were overwhelmed during Hanukkah with much more orders than expected, and in addition moved to new offices which caused delays. Following the call with the CEO they ended up reseeding me the glass menorah and also added a free gift which I highly appreciated.
A few weeks later I got an email from them (that was sent out to many customers I assume) apologizing for the delays that occurred during that Hanukkah season. The email was very cute I must say (all employees were photographed holding signs that say "we apologize" and "thanks you" both in English and in Hebrew).
My third order was a few weeks ago. This time I ordered a Star of David gold necklace which arrived to the US in less than a week. Looks great! I got a great deal for this one (used a coupon from their newsletter).
Overall I find this company to be very responsible and reliable. Good people, great prices

"I ordered from this company and spent a lot of money on my order. I also paid extra for 5-7 day express shipping, so that I would receive my order before Channukah. My order ended up being weeks late, and never got here in time. I had to tell my family members who I bought these gifts for that it would be late (even though I wasn't even sure it would ever arrive). While I was waiting for my order, I tried contacting the company several times via by phone and email with no response at all! Therefore, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and only then did they respond saying my order has finally been shipped out! However, they did not take responsibility for their actions and tried blaming anyone else they could for the late delivery! Mind you, 2 of the products I ordered were Menorahs that I was going to give my niece and nephew, so they can light their own Menorahs. This company should be ashamed of themselves. Don't order from them as you may never even get your order, and especially don't pay extra for express shipping! Below is their email response to me after I filed a complaint with the BBB:
Thank you for contacting us. I am extremely sorry for missing the emails from you.
I would also like to apologize for the delays encountered with your order. We were waiting on the supplier and we were not updated by our fulfillment team that there were any delays, so we did not know that your order was going to be delayed. We would of course have told you if we knew and had the information.
I have now opened up a case for my team to speak with the postal service and push for this to get to you without any further delay.
Once again, we sincerely apologize for the delay and any inconvenience caused.

There is an online site: World of Judaica selling Jewish items. I can only speak for me, but I would be very careful dealing with these people. A month ago I ordered an item and was advised would be shipped in 5 to 10 business days. I checked the tracking info give and was not. Communicated with them and was told because of Holidays was delayed, but they took my money the day I ordered. After couple more messages still nothing and I requested a refund. I was told that would be taken care of. So far it has not. So no product, nor a refund, and I am out about $50. They are on Facebook also under (World of Judaica)
I ordered a Menorah. It arrived well packed, fast delivery. Overall great service!
The tallit we ordered had different colors than described so we attempted to contact them about a refund or exchange. No response whatsoever to multiple emails, phone calls or attempts to "live chat." They apparently have enough employees to process your payment but not to help with any subsequent problems. Weird.
I purchase online all the time. I use the same CC all the time with no problem.
Place my order with this retailer and got a confirmation. A week later I receive an email stating that they prefer I pay with a wire transfer (?). They offered a 1.5% discount.
Never had a trouble with my CC and in fact I bought kippot with another online retailer on the same day and the order went through.
I had the urgent need to get tallitot for my son's Bar Mitzvah and now i am back to square 0, which is where this company should be!
Cheating and lying will not get this company anywhere. Be honest! Treat your customers well and they will be back! Treat your customers bad and you will only get bad propaganda through word of mouth... the worst advertising any company can get.

I purchased a beautiful glass seder plate and was extremely pleased with my purchase. The quality was more than I expected. The glass plate and the six small glass cups were very well packaged for shipping and was received without any breakage. I definitely will order again from World of Judaica.
I really love how easy it is to use this site. Everything is organized and I'm especially impressed with the clear images of the products. I know exactly what I'm getting and I've never been disappointed. It's great that there's a Portuguese version of the site. My sister-in-law told me that she found it very helpful-especially the explanations to all the products.
I was so excited to find this website, it has absolutely everything... I've never seen anything like it. I was looking for mezuzahs for our new home and found some gorgeous sleek Adi Sidler ones that match the design of our house. I am happy to say that the package arrived quickly, and more importantly in time for our chanukat habayit.
Answer: Yes, I also received that request from them. My order was over $1000 though. They said it was a security measure due to the relatively large order size and that my billing and shipping address weren't the same. The order went through with no other issues though and was shipped on time so I was overall satisfied with the service.
