We spent days short listing diamonds n been emailing and calling for real photos yet no response to any of our emails finally I came down to one diamond that I decided was it, got a call back from zoara after 2 days n was told they will send me the picture. I sent the measurements of the diamond to the jeweler who will custom make me the setting, while waiting for the picture I went on zoaras website to c the diamond again ant it was not there any more so I immediately called them they said it is possible vendor has sold it so I picked another stone n same process again, while waiting for the picture to come and getting the measurements changed for my setting again I checked the website n the diamond was gone! Seems like their stock is not updated n only once a customer asks for a specific diamond that they check the availability with the vendor (overseas, in very different time zones) which takes days. This is my second purchase from them I was very happy with my first purchase but that was 2 years ago. I'm not sure I shud spend more time with them even tho their diamonds r best priced they lack in setting options, when custom making a setting though another jeweler (I'm still waiting for zoara to give me a quotation for them making my setting) one pays a lot more then if one just bought the entire ring from one retailer which takes a lot less time and work without multiple shippings n... So maybe the lesser price of the diamond by zoara does not compensate for much specially if buying one diamond turns into deciding on a different diamond every few days.

Even though there are countless measures we take to avoid error, diamond vendors sell their diamonds to other companies, as well, so there can be a small chance that a diamond on our website was sold elsewhere before your payment was received. The possibility of this occurrence applies to all of the diamond businesses.
These occurrences are very rare, but when they do happen, we work our hardest and fastest to find other diamonds that are, in no way, a downgrade in quality.

After a week and a half into when I should have received my ring order, I had to email them to ask why it took so long. After multiple attempts to get through their customer service line - which took forever - they told me the diamond supplier did not have my diamond in inventory and it would take another 2 weeks to get the ring. Not to mention, I extensively stressed the fact I needed the ring within their advertised timeframe.

If you want to play your cards to get an average ring, go with them. I rather pay a little extra at retail and get extra perks like insurance for loss. Something to consider on a high value investment. Overall, I'm very upset at their quality of service and poor execution to deliver on time and not have kept their promise.

I was very dubious to begin with about buying an engagement ring over the internet but after a lot of research, and reading some news articles found on the guardian newspaper website, I found Zoara.com.

I decided to speak with them to begin with and they were great (both over the phone and on the chat tool). I already knew what type of diamond I wanted so it was just a matter of going through all the diamonds and finding the perfect one for me. The way the website is set up means that it is simple to choose a setting that suites the diamond - they were more than keen to help advise me on this anyway. After asking them to send me a picture of the ring they were able to show me what I was going to get.

There are added charges such as delivery and taxes (it is worthwhile checking this out to begin with) but even so I would advise you to check as much as possible to see how much that ring would cost on other websites or from shops here in the UK. EVERY ring I looked at was over a third more expensive, right up to over double the price.

Before I got the ring I asked for the diamond certificate to be from GIA (they are the most trusted) - this is how you can guarantee what you are buying! If you are worried about sending money before having a ring in your pocket then it is worthwhile remembering that if you pay by credit card you are fully insured too.

When the ring arrived I had two option for getting it insured, either send the receipt for the ring or send it off to get it valued by a trusted jewellers over here. I sent it for valuation and it came back worth nearly twice as much as I paid!

I cannot speak highly enough of this company, and I have went back again to get a set of diamond ear studs for my wife which arrived within a few days and were a perfect present for my wife on the wedding morning! She was over the moon, and once again so much cheaper than anywhere here in the UK!

Lovely surprise...

After ordering some earrings, was told they were not available. The customer service I received in response to this order was very poor - generally very rude unresponsive people on the online chat function, and zero response from email. I ended up having to cancel my order (although I notice that the website STILL says that the product is available - beware). I then had to ask for my order to be cancelled twice as they did not do anything after the first attempt. It now turns out that they have refunded me the price of the earrings but not that 20%+ taxes that they charged me on top! So far, no response from the company except to say that I have been passed onto the billing. I am not hopeful... Stay far far away from this company.

Please understand that until we receive a customer’s payment, we cannot order an item for them. Diamonds that are ordered for earrings or engagement rings are for sale to other companies and cannot be held for a customer until their order is fully completed.
As for the refund, we are always very quick in tending to our customer’s request for this. We also make sure our customers are refunded for the full amount that they paid for our products. Our company does not charge taxes on any of our items. As it states on our website, we cannot be held accountable for any taxes or conversion fees that a non-U.S. Bank may charge.
It is unfortunate that we did not have the opportunity to assist you further, and we welcome you to give us another to gain your trust as a customer!

Placed an order for a diamond and made the payment, but a week later I was told that the diamond is no longer available. Has been dragging for a couple of weeks now to find a replacement but still hasn't resolved. Very frustrating with my money being in their bank account for weeks and I have to talk to different representatives each time I called and was told I can only wait at this point in time while keep searching. Very unpleasant experience.

Perfect Diamond

My wife and I had been burgled and unfortunately my wife's wedding ring was stolen. Zoara made looking for a new diamond to our exact specifications easy. We weren't bit nervous doing a sight unseen purchase, but the return policy put us at ease. Once we received our diamond it was perfect! I highly recommend Zoara to anyone looking for loose diamonds and I will be using them again.

Perfect service!

I got everything I wanted. A perfect diamond, a perfect ring and a 'yes'. Ben from customer service helped me out to choose the right diamond. I accidently chose one with a deep brown tinge and a few hours after my order he contacted me, if I really want this diamond. If i ever need to buy a ring again (I hope it will not be an second engagement ring) I would choose Zoara for sure.

For the past month I was in the market for an engagement ring and I was very serious in buying one as I will propose this coming August. I contacted 3 Zoara customer service agents through their online chat concerning loose diamonds. It's been over a week and 2 of them never followed up. The one that did simply sent me automated emails without any info concerning my requests. I had to recontacted them, but no progress has been made. During that time I also contacted other online retailers and they were very prompt with their replies and helping me make an educated choice as most of you must know choosing a diamond can become quite overwhelming. They sent me 10x pictures of different diamonds, back and forth emails, phone calls, follow ups and helping me narrowing my choices. When I finally chose the retailer I wanted to do business with, they helped me into creating the perfect custom settings to go with my diamond. A very pleasant shopping experience. But here at Zoara, I only requested a 10x picture of 1 single diamond and they have yet to send me anything, nor did they do any real follow up. When I asked one of their agent a 10x picture, she thought I wanted 10 pictures of the same diamond hahaha lol. Seriously? During that time I was able to choose the right diamond for me, create my custom setting and place the order with a competitor. Zoara is a real joke. Shame on you! Makes me wonder if their diamonds are legitimate since they can't even provide a single picture. Buyers beware!

During your time with us, we had been in touch with you everyday since you placed the order and had made sure to request photographs of the diamond from the vendor the day you asked us to. Sometimes, it may take a little bit longer than 1 business day to receive the photographs.
I would like to assure you that all of our diamonds are guaranteed GIA certified. The GIA certificates for our diamonds are posted on our website, and our customers receive the Diamond Grading Report and the appraisal for their diamonds in their orders.
All feedback, whether positive or negative, allows us to grow and better ourselves as a company so that any errors that may have occurred will never happen again. When our manager contacted you, she really wanted you to accept our offer to provide you with a solution that would rectify the matter.

A few abrasive markings in 18k band. Will be looking into buffing out before the question is popped. Apart from that pretty good service. Would like a phone call maybe when order is received, just for that extra personal touch and care. Thanks for being part of our lives, in these exciting times, which will never be forgotten. I am currently in the process of a long back and forth interaction with Zoara regarding the customization of my ring. I ordered a solitaire setting and got the ring, but then decided to go with a halo design instead. They offer custom settings/exchanges, and when I called them on May 27th I was told I will get a quote and a sketch within 2 business days and the ring will take approximately two weeks. It has been three weeks since that conversation and I am still waiting for the sketch and getting the run around anytime I call or email them. At this point I have given up and will either return the ring to them or go to a local jeweler to get my setting changed. PLEASE BE CAREFUL as I spoke with about 5 different people over the course of the past three weeks and not a single one would provide me with a date of when I can return the ring by for a full refund (their website states both 45 and 90 days, and the paperwork I got from them states 60 days. Sloppy and inconsistent). They will NOT give you an answer of when you can return by when you are still within the return window, but are very quick to say that it's too late once you've passed the deadline. I emailed them yesterday and vowed to spread the word of their sneaky and incompetent practices all over the internet and social media, and I stand by my word and am posting this review anywhere I can. This has been such a frustrating experience and I would hate for anyone to go through it especially since an engagement is such an exciting and happy time. Mine, unfortunately, has been ruined thanks to Zoara. I have an engagement party in less than three weeks and will likely not have a ring ready by then. I am also in the process of writing a letter to their corporate offices to express my frustration. I urge you to save yourself the stress and headache and go elsewhere. These people simply do not care!

Problem with timing

Hi, I placed my order in June 3 2015, according to my order status in zoara's webpage and there says the shipping date 3 - 5 business days, so 6 business days now and my diamond its not ready, im a bit dissapointed because tomorrow its the big day I have everything planned if my ring was supposed to arrive at most 5 days I shouldve had plenty of time, the custiomer service and the pricing are really good, but this issue its really bothering me, in the live chat they told me that they are waiting for the diamond vendor, thats ok but im buying from zoara directly not from their vendor so zoara should be 100% responsable, they have not offered me anything so far because of these delay. Ok im editing this review because I recived news of my order, bad news, my diamond will arrive tomorrow or maybe monday, what about the 3 - 5 days shipping policy?. Im so very dissapointed. Ok im updating these review daily, another day have passed and still the same problem, my ring its not ready, and normally when this happens other companies offer you a small discount or a gift or anything so I can say "they had a problem with the timing but they did something about it"... another day and my ring still not ready I completed my payment june 4 and today is june 15 and nothing, today was diferent because they promised me a small gift to make it up, a sparkle cleanse set, they told me that they will take special attention and talk right away with the vendor to see whats going on and the exact date for my diamond to arrive, lets see what happens.
