I love my ring!

To be honest, I am not the one that purchased the ring - my husband did…

He initially had many concerns about ordering an engagement ring from an online company for such a large amount but at the end of the day we couldn't have been happier with my engagement ring. I wanted a ring with (blue) sapphire side stones and he found the perfect ring for me at Zoara. It arrived within a week, very nicely packed with the diamond GIA grading report. I keep looking at it and can't believe how much it sparkles!

After we got the ring my husband took it to a family friend who is a gemologist and he said that we got a great deal and that no retail store could have beaten their prices.
We intend to get our wedding bands from Zoara as well soon.

We had the pleasure of being assisted by Michelle throughout our entire buying process. From presale to postsale.
She was amazing: kind, responsive, professional, proactive, and anything but the typical sales person that you'd expect.
She helped us find a great diamond that was much better than the one that we originally selected ourselves;
She coordinated a call between Zoara's billing dept, a French speaking representative and our bank to assist making sure the payment went through seamlessly;
She called Fedex numerous times to help us with an issue that we encountered with local customs (we're from France);
She called a few days after we received the ring to make sure we liked it.
I've never received such T&LC when buying online. Felt like a true VIP! Very nice touch!

I contacted Zoara to create a custom engagement ring and they made it exactly right.
The customer service was very nice and courteous. They even made a 3D model of the ring for me to approve beforehand to make sure that the ring would turn out exactly as I want. The entire process took ~2 weeks.
I highly recommend them - they know how to meet their customers' needs.

My Fiance is a computer geek (;-)), so he did weeks of research on everything about buying diamonds online. He learned EVERYTHING about diamonds, online diamond vendors, and more.
He eventually chose Zoara which had the best prices. He was also very impressed by the professionalism of their representatives that answered all of his questions (knowing him he had quite a few…).
The quality and price are second to none! My ring is absolutely stunning, and our matching weddings bands are perfect. We have relocated to Bulgaria and the ring arrived here within less than two weeks of purchase.
I highly recommend this website: simple, economical and gorgeous.

Ordered on the 27th Nov, Took 2 WEEKS to tell me that the diamond is UNAVAILABLE
Received an email saying "While I understand that this is unexpected and disappointing, I'm would like to inform you that it is our policy in such cases to provide a diamond at least as good as the one that you originally ordered at no additional cost for you as long as this is possible." ONLY AFTER 2 WEEKS.

Because I don't have enough time, I had to asked their Customer Service team to pick a diamond for me got WORSE DIAMOND and had to PAY EXTRA for it despite the email said "no cost", I had to pay due to the need of getting a diamond ASAP. And it's 1 week before I left the Country,

At the end, the customer care manager managed to get in touch with me and refunded the "Extra" i had to pay when I changed my diamond. Well, they did a good job on that. The diamond itself was good, So if you are not in a rush, you can try give it a go, expect 10 days - 2 weeks from end to end,

We've purchased our engagement ring (4-prong solitaire with a 1.50ct round center diamond) at Zoara and they surpassed our expectations at every step of the way. Each rep we've spoken with was empowered to deal with our questions and concerns and was responsive and professional.
The ring arrived on time and looks beautiful. We took it to a local jeweler to make sure everything was kosher (never made such an expensive purchase online before) and got nothing but compliments on the workmanship and great deal that we got.

I had originally purchased a ring from Zoara and it was then recommended to me by Zoara that another ring was available to match my original ring which I thought was great. So when I buy the so-called matching ring it turns out that it couldn't be further from reality. They pretty much just plucked any ring out of their catalogue and said it was the matching ring. In no way does it match and I have pictures to prove it which I emailed to them in disgust. They also stated in an email which I still have that they would give a discounted price for the second ring after my original purchase and when I tried contacting them to discuss this price (5x emails and many calls with no replies!) it was as if the company had shut down because there was absolutely no communication whether it was live their 'live chat', email and phone number.
When I returned the awful second ring, they would not reimburse me for the postage I had to pay to return it and also the GST that I had to pay for the item to arrive in Australia. So essentially I have thrown away over $250 in GST and postage for receiving absolutely nothing. Completely down the drain. They reimbursed the price of the ring when I returned it but not the other costs. So beware that if you purchase something and you want to swap or return it they will not cover the postage and GST costs which in my case was $250 for a $1400 wedding ring. It would be a lot more for a more expensive ring. Any item you purchase over $1000, you get a call from Australian customs and they do not release the ring to you unless you pay the GST cost which is a nasty surprise. Zoara do mention this somewhere on their site if you look hard enough for it but it's not something you go looking for if you don't know you have to pay it. In summary, I personally don't think it's worth the hassle and after my experience I would recommend others to not buy through Zoara.

We searched at least five different websites before we found zoara.com. The representative (Ben) spoke with us every day, 5 days in a row, helping us find the diamond a diamond that was perfect for us. His level of service, patience and professionalism were amazing. The quality of the diamond we got surpassed the quality of any diamond we saw on BlueNile or any other website for the same price. Also, shipping to France was very convenient (we prepaid taxes through the website). We will definitely buy from Zoara again - thanks Ben for a great deal!

Avoid business with Zoara at all costs. I placed an order for a ring which was supposed to ship within 2-3 business days according to their site, however I received no correspondence of the ring shipping. After waiting a week, with no response to my emails regarding the order status (and even an attempt to cancel the order!), I called their customer service number during their business hours, but the majority of the time, no one picked up. Out of the 12 calls I placed over different days and times, I managed to speak to customer service 4 times. I was told this company uses an internet phone (red flag) for a customer service line, and I suppose it doesn't always work. After a week, they were still waiting to hear back from the diamond supplier and had no further information (red flag- shouldn't they be monitoring this constantly and have the logistics to run their operations?). Eventually, they reached the supplier and promised a new ship date. On this new ship date, they were actually setting the stone, which took several more days, and I was promised FedEx Priority Overnight shipping, as I had a trip later that week and would not be able to sign for the package. Zoara shipped using their standard shipping, and I confirmed this with FedEx. Every single promise they made to me about my order was unfulfilled. I am now without a ring and need to reassess my plans. I can't imagine others using this company for something as important as their engagement, and I am regretting that I used them at all. Stay far away!

I am happy with the ring my fiancé gave me, mostly because HE gave it to me. It is special to me and I would not trade it. However, it does NOT look like the photo online. The edges aren't nearly as sharp or clean, the soldering is uneven and sloppy, and the double band that is joined to look like one ring is a double band in the back, whereas online it looks like a single band. Very shady misrepresentation. Will not buy another ring from these people.

Be AWARE

They do NOT reply to emails. Even after an order is placed and purchased. 10 days later still no response, no shipment tracking #, no update. They do NOT care.
The stone I wanted did not have a number on the GIA certificate!
The stone I paid for still did NOT get shipped. I call them and they say it is FINE. Everything is fine. But they do not reply to emails and still I did not get the loose diamond!

It is the diamond vendors’ policies not to post a diamond’s GIA number on any website. However, we do provide our customers with all of our diamonds’ GIA certificate numbers. With these certificate numbers, our customers are able to pull up a diamond’s information on the official GIA website. The diamond’s GIA number is provided with the diamond upon delivery.
I would also like to apologize for your disappointment in our service. We want to provide our customers with an easy and enjoyable shopping experience, so we make it top priority to dedicate our time to calling and emailing all of our customers. What a ring, wow

I was looking for an engagement ring for my girlfriend (now fiancé) but she has never been a fan of diamonds. She specifically wanted a sapphire gemstone instead. I had trouble finding companies willing to deal with me if I wasn't willing to purchase a diamond.

After several searches, I came across Zoara. They were able to provide me with many great options for sapphire engagement rings. They even offered customization if I couldn't find one I liked on their site.

I ordered via PayPal. The purchase was secure and the ring was sent via FedEx with no sales tax or shipping charge. Even more important, it was a stunning ring. My fiancé loves it. The ring came in a stunning box with an LED light that illuminates the stone.

My son purchased a loose diamond from these people. A week after purchase, they sent an email informing him "the diamond you selected is no longer available" with a suggested substitute stone stock number link attached. The stone was not nearly as nice as the one he purchased and no actual picture of the diamond was available. He declined the stone. He heard not another word from them. The following day, he was checking stones on their website and lo and behold, the diamond he had initially purchased was BACK in their inventory (they removed it after he purchased it). When an email was sent asking how it was on their website again if it wasn't available, there was no reply, but the next morning it was gone again. It could have been a mistake, but more likely was put back on to lure someone else into their bait and switch program. At any rate after multiple emails that went unanswered over several days asking for them to just refund the credit card as he no longer wanted to deal with them, he had to file a claim against them with the bank that issued his credit card. Two days later we get a "so sorry" email from the customer service manager. I can accept that, they are a sorry outfit. Problem is it is hard to tell if they are this inept or this cunning. Neither is good, but I am betting they are mostly con artists. Do not believe the positive reviews, they are likely all "compensated" in some way. The ones that are similar to our story are the ones to believe. IF YOU DO BUY FROM THEM, I RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT USE WIRE TRANSFER. I cannot imagine how long it would take for you to get your funds back in that case……

Zoara had an nice selection of diamonds that we were looking for. There were many quality options for us to choose from. The prices are much more affordable than what you'd find at any jewelers. The staff was very knowledgeable, and were very friendly and polite. It has been really great working with Zoara to find what we want!
