We are an experience merchant in Denver and we use Zozi to manage our reservations. Our experience has been smooth and easy. We take excellent care of our customers and they seldom need to call Zozi customer service for anything. However, when our customers call Zozi, we hear that they have a good experience.
When a merchant gets involved with a company like Zozi, there are some risks that customers will somehow have a bad experience with the booking provider. That hasn't happened for us. Our startup process was smooth. Managing the zozi backend is simple and flexible enough for us. Be warned, though. You'll be contacted by their many competitors once you sign up with them.
Some things we like: 1) We keep our own phone number so we can speak with our customers and potential customers directly. Someday we may look into handing this function off, but we like how it is right now. 2) The fees we pay to zozi are low. 3) When we use the zozi backend to take a reservation directly from our customers, the fees we pay to zozi are zero. 4) Zozi actually feels like a productivity tool for us rather than some clumsy obstacle to taking care of our customers.
Minor suggestions for improvement: 1) There is a review request email that is sent automatically from Zozi. When a customer writes us a review, there is almost no chance anyone will see that review, so we encourage our customers to ignore that request and write us a review at TripAdvisor or Yelp or Google instead. This probably signs them up for zozi emails in the future (which are easy to cancel). There might be a few customers who don't like this, though we haven't received any complaints.
We receive calls very very frequently from other providers who want to move us off of zozi. We don't see any reason to switch.
I just booked my first trip thru Zozi. I was a bit nervous but sent an email inquiry into their office and within a couple of minutes a already had a response from Alexandra. She answered all of my questions and even offered to call me direct to help me when there office was scheduled to be closed due to the holidays. When I got home that evening I spoke with my husband about the trip and he also metioned that he had sent in an email and was helped immedietely!
We are thrilled to death and on our way to an adventure in Peru at a phenominal price!

Amazing Customer Service! I ordered some trekking poles as gifts, and one of them arrived without a cap that goes on the tip of the pole. I emailed customer service, and they responded very quickly, stating they did not have spare parts but would look on the internet to find it, buy it, and ship it to me! I have never had customer service that was a 1) a real human, 2) kind, & 3) willing! I am amazed. Thank you so much!
I purchased climbing shoes which arrived promptly but were about 2 sizes too small. As there was no option for an exchange on my return label, I contacted customer service who quickly applied a shipping credit to my account so that I can try another size without having to pay more fees. I appreciated the gesture so much and am looking forward to buying more stuff on Zozi.
Purchased an 8 day Adventure trip to Morocco in February. It was such a great deal and it was a birthday present to myself for the year. I tried to get girlfriends to sign up as well but by May no one had purchased it and it was no longer on the website. I really didn't want to take this trip alone. Muslim country someone to share the memories with. So I contacted customer service about my options if I didn't go could I apply the amount toward another trip, refund? What were my options. I couldn't get a refund, could apply the amount toward something else or why not go alone and you have until the end of the year to use it. Luckily a girlfriend wanting an adventure as well decided to go. She contacted the tour company directly and they gave her the same deal for the trip that Zozi advertised. We ended up having an amazing trip. Adventure doesn't even begin to describe it. New Country, new culture, food, eight days on and off a bus, camping in the desert, beach towns. Amazing!
Foreign travel rewires your brain. Zozi offered a great discount and the tour company out of London and Turkey actual have even better deals off season in November and December. It's a great way to travel the world.
I thankfully stumbled upon Zozi after missing my chance to buy a pair of hiking boots in my size from REI. Zozi not only had the size and color I wanted in the boots, but they also had a better price! Not wanting to miss this great opportunity, I bought the boots on the spot. A couple days later Zozi had a Cyber Monday sale on all gear and after inquiring about the sale, Zozi customer service credited my card the difference.
I look forward to utilizing Zozi for my outdoor needs in the future!

Zozi had some amazing sales this past week, and I bought a ton of clothing - running, fitness and casual clothes. The sales were part of Black Friday/Cyber Monday and the prices and items were phenomenal! Moreover, when I had customer service questions, I received prompt and exemplary help. This is a company I want to give my business to! My only criticism is the website is a little slow and should be upgraded. But, if they make the website work faster, I may buy everything they have next time they have a sale.
I recently made a purchase from Zozi and two days later there was a holiday promotion for 25% off. I sent an email inquiry and within 24 hours received a reply - no hassle, no haggle - that the price adjustment would be made to my credit card. Impressed by the fast and easy response, and the fact that they honored the promotion even though I'd already made the purchase.
I have enjoyed prompt, caring service from Zozi- whether for piloting lessons in the $100s of dollars or for those activities under $100. Recently, my coupon was about to expire and had problems reaching the activity location by phone. Kristen at Zozi quickly investigated, cleared up the phone problem and then quickly refunded my money due to a discrepancy in the details of what was offered. I purchase from Zozi with confidence, knowing that if a problem arises, they will honor their policy and help me resolve my issues.
I signed up for a Zozi contest and they sold my email address to at least five other companies, and the emails keep coming. I know it was zozi because I use a different email address for each thing that I sign up for, and all of these other companies, which I have never heard of, are emailing me at zozi@****. Org. I already unsubscribed from zozi's emails, but clearly they still have my email address on file and are selling. DON'T SIGN UP FOR ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!
I've only bought a few things from Zozi so far, but I can say that their customer service has been great so far.
I purchased a voucher to the Galapagos through Zozi and one of their team reached out to email me hints and tips for traveling to Ecuador.
Also, when I had not responded to the travel agent quickly enough, they interceded to ping me for the info that the Galapagos travel agent needed.
Most recently I was not able to get reservations for a hotel package that Zozi had sold a voucher to me for and they refunded me the cost of the voucher even though it was way past the 10 days (it was more like 10 months past!) for refunds. That was awesome!
Zozi has been great so far!
I recently ordered a multitude of timbuk2 bags and some clothing for christmas presents from zozi. I was pleasantly surprised by how effective and friendly they were. I neglected to enter my discount code at the end of my order and had to email customer support for assistance. The customer service rep emailed me within hours and applied the discount code for me. While the efficiency was more than anticipated, I was inspired by the warmth that was conveyed with the attached message... GOOD COMPANY GREAT SERVICE.
I purchased a gift card for a NASCAR ride along for my husbands birthday! I had much difficulty redemming the voucher, and asked ZOZI for help. After much frustration, and time, they resolved the issue and we were able to utilize the gift. Marika Tabilio was our go to person, very tenacious, kind and helped beyond measure. We will definitely use ZOZI again!
A friend stumbled upon ZOZI while researching discounts for the Dallas Spartan Sprint obstacle race. The late registration was $90, so when we came across ZOZI's link to register for $35 we were HAPPY! I however am VERY wary of online "deals", so I hit the "CONTACT US" link and sent an email asking "How does this work?". I was pleasantly surprised when Alexandra emailed back within the hour, explaining exactly what I would need to do. With a little more confidence, I hit the PURCHASE button and proceeded to follow the simple instructions provided by Alexandra. I registered for my FIRST Spartan race for a fraction of the price with the help of ZOZI! I then felt the sudden need to shout it from the rooftops, and 11 of my teammates registered for the race using ZOZI too! From now on, if there is anything I need, I will look to see if ZOZI has an offer. I will never hesitate to use them, and neither should you.
I had a steal of a deal with a Juicy Van Rental with Zozi. Even though we ran into some trouble with the car over our week long trip to the National Parks. Everything was resolved within a short amount of time and the car worked great. Super helpful people from scheduling to pick up to drop off and during the trip. Someone was always a phone call away and we had the time of our lives. I couldn't recommend this deal or any other deal Zozi offers. If I had a Zozi shirt I'd wear it!
I ordered a deal for a hotel on Zozi.com and was not certain that the deal was legitimate. I called into Zozi's customer service for help with redeeming the offer and I received prompt and courteous attention and they walked me through the process for redemption. The customer service representative mentioned about Zozi's return policy and I felt re-assured with the process. I then followed the redemption process and my reservation was booked in downtown Boston. It was an unbelievable deal. I would certainly buy from Zozi.com again.
I have used ZOZI on a number of occasions. The site is easy to navigate and there is a great turnaround time on orders. I booked a campervan trip with my friends through ZOZI and the rental was exactly what we had expected. Our campervan road trip was a memorable journey!
I have only used this site a couple of times, but both times worked out great for me. I even had to e-mail the staff about the redemption code that wasn't working, and I got a response the next day regarding the cause of the problem. And as soon as the problem was gone, I got an e-mail saying that it was fixed.
