Dealing with them is a nightmare, trust me when I say this, "Choose any provider but 2Checkout".
Let me start by saying that I reside in India and submitted all the documents they asked in the merchant panel.
Firstly, it took them ages to send me a reply that I need to submit an additional document.
What really pisses me off is that they want me to submit a proof of the last 6 months transaction of my site. How can someone possibly give this proof when they have just published their site?
Still, I tried explaining it to them that I have a brand new site and it might not apply to me. I once again waited for a few more days and got this response,
"Your submission for a 2Checkout Account has been declined" That's it. No explaining, no reasons just like that. They wasted my 15 days on this.
Save yourself some trouble and stay away from them.

I had my website completely redone and I am so happy to be finished with these people. They would lock me out of my own order page constantly and then send me a link that would not work. I would have to try using different browsers to log in. Finally when I printed out the packing slip for the orders is was in 4 point type. You need a magnifying glass to read the shipping address. What a horrible frustration this place was and for what reason! Life is short, 2checkout.com makes it shorter. Stay away!

Charged a higher price for software than listed in their purchase form. Their "Invoice" fails to breakdown how much "discount" is applied to each product. They also charged $650 for additional software that was not listed on their purchase form. Called customer support, but they initially brushed me off saying I need to contact the software manufacturer, but later discovered that I was able to request a refund through their website. Called customer service again, and she noticed that the refund I requested through their website was pending, and was told that I should get an email from the software company, but will get a refund in 10 days if I don't hear anything. In contact with my credit card company, putting in an investigation and hope to get my $$ back. Really terrible purchase experience, anti-intuitive website/invoices, and lousy customer support.

The Company charges extortionate conversion rates from one currency into another without first specifying what those charges are likely to be. This is unfair, unethical and very bad business practice. Any Company that uses them to collect payments must use alternative methods or they will suffer financially as I will NEVER use any Company that uses them!

I'd suggest 2Checkout to any company that has to deal with a lot of online billing and likes to have many happy customers.
I've just had a refund request managed through their service in a timely manner and with a great customer support.
Had a business question in relating to how they add taxes to orders between European countries. Their customer service did not answer my question nor my follow up questions. Seems like a very dodgy company that needs to be IRS investigated.

They fraud, thry will suspend your acount anytime without a notice o warning, they will not provide any reason or voilation to suspend your account, you will get an email that due to internal risk we have close your account permanently. That's it

This is the first time that I'm going to write a review, because I was very frustrated about their services, and their technical helpdesk.
I've opened an account 4 weeks ago, after 1 week, the status was Under Evaluation, I've tried to contact their technical helpdesk, but no answer, I got an answer after 2 weeks saying that I need to provide more documents, which I did, but after 2 more weeks, I got a message saying that my request is declined for no obvious reason.
Maybe they think that all Africans are scammers, it's a shame.

Mine is a small aviation book selling company out of my house. When I changed my business my web guy strongly wanted to use 2Checkout to process the cards. Shortly after they upgraded their entire platform and it all went down the rat-hole. Once they showed me the tricky ways to get to my orders page and print out my customers orders the packing slip came in 6 point font so you need a magnifying glass to read the shipping address. I complained several time with no response. So I can live with that but because of their "high security" because they are so concerned about their customers "safety" they make you change your password every 90 days. But you better write it down becaus e after 90 day forget it. I have tried a dozen attempts using every oddball password I can think of that i would not ever have used before and no luck. It was annoying enough when I would have to call them but now they discontinued their tech support number so they would not have to be bothered with their small low end piece of $#*! customers like me who just sell 100 or less books each month.

I did all my business documents legally, properly, paid for tax ID ready to receive payments on my new online store. 2Checkout ruined my plans, they declined me claiming "NON-COMPLIANT" and sent me a link of a ton of reasons why they decline applicants for their services. So now they have all my business documents, government ID and they said DECLINED. Now I have to worry that my personal and business info is in their possession and hope they dont use it. DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS SERVICE, They're no good and their CUSTOMER SERVICE is the worst there is.

Their so-called risk assessment team shuts down your account for unclear reasons and without warning, leaving you hanging dry in the middle of peak sales season. Rude, arrogant and intrusive customer service that has to balls to go looking into your LinkedIn profile to arrive at some ill-informed and prejudiced assessment of risk. I have given them a try twice and must warn others to stay away. There is Stripe, PayPal and many more options in an ever expanding FinTech industry.

The worst support ever!
They told me that I have to create a new account for new business URL.
And then they DO NOT want to ACCEPT my application.
I got DECLINED 3 times because they say "provide us offical bank document" then I have provided and then I got declined again and they were asking for "electric BILL".
I provided them an electric bill and they declined me again without any info!
The worst thing is that I have already one working account with the primary URL, so they DO NOT accept the same person.
Disappointing and frustrating.

I received urgent email that my domain name with Godaddy has expired. I clicked on the link to renew for 2 years. Never got confirmation.
My domain name had not expired, and no further years were added.
I googled the name on my credit card charge. I called, had to leave a message of course, and it is Highly unlikely that they will return the call (if they do, i will post)

I use Stripe and Paypal, thought i'd give 2Checkout a try as an alternative. After submitting my information they do not respond or allow you to use the account at all. Trying to login results in constant errors.
I purchased something from wordpress plugin and after I paid, I got an email saying that my payment has been hold and not sent to the merchant (the seller of the plugin) because it was suspected fraud and asking lots of documents to provide from my bank, ids, statements, and I did cancel my payment and asked them to return my money back, They are not reliable in terms of online payment. I contacted the plugin merchant and they offered me the direct link for the payment not using 2checkout.

Avangate charges taxes for the purchases and they don't remit these taxes to the government. Its an easy way for the company to make an additional percentage on the sale price. This company is unethical, and should be avoided at all costs.
