This is such an amazing website and it helps so much. The listeners are always very supportive of the members and of each other, and the group chats are so pleasant and help me take my mind off of daily stresses.

7 cups is a fantastic place to go for help. You cannot make it to a therapist, and you don't have the assets to afford any type of help, 7 cups is a great alternative. Free, active, and helpful links, positive community, and caring listeners are just a few reasons why it is an alternative worth trying. Forums, 1on1 chats, or group therapy sessions included in the free section. Paying can get you a trained and licensed therapist but it isn't needed to just come and vent.

I love this site. It is so comprehensive of peoples feelings. The listeners are almost always helpful.

7cups is great for venting out,casual talk,mental support for people who just want to talk to someone and its totally anonymous platform to chat and maintaining privacy of the memebers and listeners. I found great listeners who helped in my tough times of sadness.
Other than that i would like to say, the app and the website needs a bit software enhancing because it has few glitches and a little user interface improvements. Over all the website is smooth. Thank you 7 cups

I extremely appreciate the friendly environment here. One of the things I am basically a fan is that the supportive listeners and mods, guiding at every step with keen interest and polite behavior

I really can't give a star to this place. Their TOS chuck full of terms setting the liability, not theirs, if you get a listener who isn't listening, therapist that isn't properly vetted, and they constantly censure you like you were in a psychiatric facility. Seriously, the best people who understand you are the people who share your diagnosis; not always the listeners (who aren't liable just regular people) or even the therapists (who are not vetted for competency). I give this site a NO STAR because it is restrictive of a persons civil rights and First Amendment rights!

I'm a member and a listener, and I love the site so much! I love being able to connect and help people as a listener and get help myself when I'm feeling down as a member. There are a few issues I've come across, but none that can't be fixed by going to the 7Cups Support chat by moderators. Would recommend!

I spoke to a listener on here and I had a friend who was very suicidal and depressed and is currently saying suicidal things online. The listener told me "just let it be and their partner will take care of it even though their relationship is unstable". This listener also didn't listen to a thing I said they kept telling me there is nothing I can do and let it be. They proceeded to keep giving advice or making assumptions instead of listening. Suprisingly they were a high ranked listener.

I am a listener with some counseling experience, joined the platform because I really want to make a difference and help people. I am female.
But what annoys me are these users, who join to start sexy chats, harassment or violence towards female listeners. Many times I've blocked the user and he came back again soon under a different username.
Many members with fake stories, absolutely bizarre and unrealistic, just waste of my time and time of the members who really need help and support.
If you politely turn down a request, you can get a warning from a platform that someone has reported you for being not enough kind or empathic, which is nonsense! Considering listener's work and the fact that they're doing all of this free of charge in their spar time. This is very unfair.

I think it would be great to provide some kind of benefits ( if no money, then vouchers, gift card, etc) for long term listeners, that would make us feel more appreciated...

They stole my everything. They took what was left of my sanity, my dignity, even my appetite. If you suffer five minutes on this website, you become more sympathetic to why mass shootings are a common occurrence in the US.

There's wonderful caring people who actually listen to what you have to say. They always have a solution for what your going through and make your day better by the minute. I definitely recommend them!
