I have booked quite a few times for my family & also recomended a lot to others but Never Again. They are a disgrace. Unfortunately my very loved father, RIP, passed away suddenly and we needed to cancel our family holiday. We had saved and saved for this. I sent a cancellation email advising of bereavement and was told as it was within 7 days there was no refund and no option to defer holiday either. When i asked if they had a bereavement policy, i just kept getting the same response re. The seven days. No condolences, options, nothing. They should be ashamed of themselves. The airline refunded immediately with supply of documents. I contacted the hotel directly and they were so kind but their hands were tied as it was booked with alpharooms. Im sure our holiday was resold as it was in high demand. Alpharooms probably made a nice profit there. This cancellation was not an option, it was due to a sudden bereavement. Our bereavement was sudden and could not be timed within time frames for cancellations. With all the profits alpharooms make, they still have no room for human kindness and compassion. Hang your heads in shame... My reference number is **************.
3/7/17, I'm still awaiting an update, received direct calls to say looking into it. To add salt to the wounds I received an email from alpharooms saying they hoped I enjoyed my stay & asked me to review my holiday with trip advisor... 05/07/2017, still awaiting a reply after promise that I would receive an update... really disappointed with the service from alpharooms... 6/7/17 received an email today, what are they asking me to check? Very same answer as in first week of June so just fobbed me off for a month because i posted a review of this site. Typical, blaming someone else!

WARNING
July 4, 2017

Do not book with this company, paid £720 for 2 rooms only to be told 2 days later that only one room available and to complete the booking for the other room would need to pay £550 instead of £360. This company has gone downhill and please check your credit card/ debit card statement very carefully. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

NEVER USE AGAIN

I booked a hotel with Alpharooms on the 1st June, received a letter from the hospital so I had to cancel, which I did straight away but haven't received any acknowledgment from them to say that it's been taken care of, sent 2 more messages but to NO avail, checked my credit card and the monies have been taken.

So much for their superb customer support

DONT USE ALPHAROOM

We booked hotel with Alpharoom back in December for summer holiday and had to cancel right after it was booked. Then we got hit with cancellation charge of £49. It was treating letters and emails and calls. We had until 7july to cancel.
Then we got a very unprofessional letter from their solicitor that demanded the cancel fee if not they were going to take us to court!
I called the firm which doesn't exist and checked the address in the Sheffield which again doesn't exist.
After calling their office at premium rate you end up in India ( and have to stay ages on phone and try to speak to someone who doesn't speak English nor understand you.)
Useless company! We have never experienced anything like this.
Trust us we will never ever use this company again!
And please take notice: DONT use ALPHAROOM

I booked holiday rooms x 2 and received a
Confirmation ref ************** 23/05/2017
16:32 £390.70 was taken from my account - I
Then received a follow on e-mail 23/05/2017
22:41 stating that unfortunately only 1 room
Had been confirmed and gave me 2 options
- Keep the 1 room and they would process a
Refuend for the 2nd
- Cancel all the rooms on my booking - if
They did not hear from me by 3pm then the
Confirmed rooms would be cancelled and a full
Refund processed ( I have copies of both
E-mails)We wished to cancel both rooms so
Rather than wait until 3pm I confirmed the
Cancellation by e-mail. They are now refusing
A refund as the accommodation is charging
Them. I have sent 6 e-mails attaching their
Offer of a refund which are being ignored and
A have spoken to a manager who despite his
Promise has not called me back. I have now had to go to small claims court

I live in America, and had to call overseas (several times) in order to cancel a reservation. After several attempts, they insisted that they could not cancel it online or via email. This resulted in international calling charges on my phone bill. I have used alpharooms.com in the past and had been pretty satisfied with my experience with them. Their prices were great and I had found it fairly easy to make a reservation, even from across the pond. Unfortunately, it's not easy to make changes or cancellations. If you live in the US, I wouldn't recommend them.

I booked with alpha rooms in the belief I would only have to pay a 1 pound deposit before my next instalment is due next month. I had to cancel due to reasons beyond my control& alpharooms have advised I need to pay 90pounds to cancel the booking. I have asked to speak to management but they are not interested. Complete Scam!

I booked a weekend away (flights & hotel). My hotel was not booked when I got there. Worse still, Alpharooms told the hotel I hadn't paid! I phoned Alpharooms to get it sorted and was told that I had to phone their supplier myself (who is in Brazil!). I complained and asked to speak to a manager and only then the woman said she would phone their supplier - I was left on hold for 39 minutes. I phoned back to go through the same scenario then the woman asked to speak to the hotel - on my phone! Can you imagine my phone bill. Alpharooms refused to phone me back and refused to phone the hotel themselves to sort their error out. They were so unhelpful and unfriendly it ruined my weekend away.

The care only to get your money! No customer service at all! Be aware! Absolute shocking service! Website had issues, information not clear, £1 deposit ***** you in before making clear the cancellation conditions and amendment policies... have always used ****************** and Expedia before, had to book through Alpharooms as part of a group will NEVER book with Alpharooms again!

Booked a holiday and been trying to get someone to answer my query since first week of December, left over forty messages, sent over twenty emails and called 47 times and all I'm told is that they will speak to the hotel and call me back but they don't. Terrible absolutely awful customer service.

Never use alpharooms

Booked a holiday in fuerteventura at a cost of 1100 pounds. Alpharooms forgot to tell us it was overbooked but took my money quick enough. Then tryed to fob us of with a load of old rubbish. Stear well clear of this lot

Alpha rooms, crap

I booked two rooms in lanzarote with alpha rooms on 27dec, got an email from them 7 weeks later telling me hotel was overbooked but they got me another hotel but it was miles from where i wanted to be when i phoned alpha rooms i was told take it or cancel leaving me with no option but to take it, i wasn't happy and phoned their customer service who told me i was in my original hotel, she was looking at my confirmation and to go ahead and print my paperwork, i got to hotel to be told overbooked and they had lots of problems with alpha rooms, lady in the hotel tried phoning alphas emergency number, no use, she sorted a room for us, and another hotel next day, I've phoned alpha coupe of times useless have been told some will contact me within 28 days,,, will never use this shower of $#*! again, ended up costing me a lot of money

I placed a booking with Alpharooms on Thursday 02nd March 2017 to which payment has been taken in full entering a legal contract. After not receiving my booking number as promised within 24 hours nor any contact from Alpharooms to make me aware of any problems I contacted there office on Sunday 05th March 2017 promising a return phone call within an hour to which has been to no avail. Again today Monday 06th March all of the contact numbers are going to voice mail and no return phone call offering other options. I have also emailed an urgent query to the head office to which I am still awaiting a reply.
This standard of service is not acceptable and to which they have broken the contract therefore should no resolution to this matter be received by the close of business today they leave me with no other option than to book with another accommodation provider to which I will invoice Alpharooms the difference in cost. Furthering this should I still not receive any satisfaction I will be issuing a County Court Claim to recover all financial loss.
Never ever again will I use Aplharooms and now seeing other reviews cant understand how this organisation are still in business.

I booked a hotel in the wrong country to join my family on a big holiday. To the cost of £1005. They said they're call back in 2 hours. Nothing. Callled back, no information anywhere, guy kept lying about why I didn't get a call back and was caught out.
He said they're speak to a supervisor and for me to call back in one hour and ask for Benjamin, (his name apparently, considering the call center is in Asia I doubt it).
Called back got out through to Benjamin and it was another guy with a totally different voice who knew nothing. Got through to supervisor. Supervisor said he called hotel chain who refused to transfer booking and explained the situation to hotel. Asked him to repeat this and said I was recording, sunnenly I am out on hold for an age...
Called hotel, they said up to alpharooms not them!
Although non refundable, an easy mistake to make and they would make more money out of us as the other hotel is cheaper! They didn't even call and ask as the hotel chain said they would say yes but need alpharooms consent!
They have ruined a family holiday that we have saved hard for just because they won't ask a quick question for us. We are devestated.

Going to airport from sbh jandia resort. The taxi did not turn up. Holiday taxis.com did not answer emergency phone. Office did not open until 09.00am. My transfer schedule was 08.30 holiday taxi. Com said get a taxi. 95. Did not reimburse me or offer and compensation. This seems to be done on a regular basis from reading other reviews. Why do alpharooms not support their customers.

I have been using alpharooms for 5 years and never had any problems. They download my boarding passes extra 10 p0unds hotels as advertised transfers quick transfer to my hotel was mercedes with 3 other people at hotel in 20 minutes same on return to malaga airport

RIP OFF TRAVEL COMPANY

Stay clear of this company.
We had accommodation problems in Majorca and subsequently lost our airport transfer. Alpha rooms did nothing. Couldn't even get a reply from them. The problems cost us a fortune. PLEASE STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY

I have booked my hotel at Alpharooms for Crystal green bay resort in guvercinlik /turkey.
The availble. I have booked for the first time and i was happy untill i called the hotel to check my reservation. I was shocked when i heard that i will get a standard room with a bunkbed as i did not see that in any details during the booking neither in confirmation. This is totaly misleading offerning same room standard and family accomodation and both have a bunkbed with a price difference. Im not happy about this misleading offer and i will also complain at diverse instances. You should clearly mention this family accomodation comes with bunkbed. I would have selected the cheaper option. Totaly not happy i will not book anymore from alpha rooms as your fees and cancelations rates are rediculios. Booking.com is much better in offers and services.

Please look and tell me you see bunkbed mentioned in description for family accomodation... even look in t your confirmation or terms and conditions - really poor services and misleading
