Amazon is a website for the masses. It allows for people to buy just about anything and everything. I have used the site to purchase numerous items and have yet to be disappointed. The website itself is simple enough for the most unintelligent person to navigate it. While offering a broad range of offerings to the table. Amazon in my eyes outshines any other site that rivals it because of it's ability to help people sell their stuff in stores within amazon. The checkout process is quick and painless and the shipping process is above average for a website of it's size with super saver shipping to allow for the customer to save on shipping. The one thing I like the most is the ability to buy used over new stuff to save money and if the item is not what you wanted you can return it with out hassle. I give Amazon 4 stars for being one of the leading websites for the shopper in all of us.

Amazon.com can be a great place to shop for a wide variety of products. Their inventory is rooted from a vast number of suppliers and probably more often than not you're actually dealing with them more-so with amazon being a middle-man.

At least, it seems that way to me.

And so, Amazon.com can be a great place to buy things -- even toys. However, the prices for such items can be a bit on the high-end depending on the product. Prices can vary from "new" or even "used".

Where toys are concerned, the prices can be ludicrous depending on when it was issued. Toys that were issued yester-year may be on the limited-side and will have their prices inflated.

Sometimes you can surf through the various vendors that a particular product is catered from, sifting through their prices. Something to be mindful of is that one vendor may appear to be cheaper, but their shipping is higher.

Like ebay, you want to check on the feedback of the seller. Believe of not, even they can disappoint at times. It's rare, but I've had it happen. Sometimes similar looking products can be mixed up and that whole bag. It's not something to be worried about, but aware of what you're prodding at.

So, if you're wishing to acquire that particular item or get a price feel for something, amazon.com can be a good place to scope out along with your other web surfing 'ventures.

I know unlocked phones are somewhat of a debatable subject but lets just say I really needed one for work and for a few projects. I tried 2 sites before I found this one and both turned out to be garbage I could not get to work. Got an unlocked blackberry from this store and it works like a charm. I think if you needed just a regular phone you could just buy from a local store but this place sells the phones unlocked as they were meant to be.

I have probably order over 50 times from amazon in the last 10 years and have never had any problems with any orders. Never been shipped any wrong items (once was shipped the same item twice for a single order which customer service told me not to worry about it) and orders always arrive in a timely fashion. Don't be scared about the delivery time frame for items with their super saver free shipping option -- it usually arrives before they say. Only opt for the overnight / 2nd day shipping options if you absolutely need to have the item in hand by a certain date.

Be aware that if you buy items from amazon stores / sellers, those items won't qualify for free shipping, although the shipping is usually quite reasonable. With amazon sellers, the items can come a little slower, so if possible I usually opt to get items from amazon themselves.

I have shopped at Amazon since I can remember online shopping at all. I've always had good experiences, the customer service is good, though difficult to speak with on the phone (they try to avoid phone customer service).
Shipping is often free, though there are sellers on there that charge extra for shipping... it depends on the product.
Recently I noticed that return shipping is being charged, if you just "didn't like it"... if it is in any way their mistake, they pay for return shipping.
Not bad!

Who doesn't love Amazon.com? They have almost every product on the entire earth and ship very fast. The business intelligence feature of the site provides you with additional products you may be interested in or what other people have purchased.

I bought a digital video camera and paired it with the perfect tripod for cheap! I read online that the Amazon.com profit margin is somewhere between 1.5 - 3% on each item that they sell. This is how they are able to offer such low prices on everything.

Big time amazon fan and a prime member. Highly recommend the site to purchase almost anything you need.

Extremely RUDE & DISHONEST, website said the camera was in stock, it was not. 6/1/10 I called to cancel & the guy hung up on me, so I sent an e-mail to cancel the order. 6/11/10 I noticed my credit card had been billed even though I had cancelled my order 6/1, e-mailed them again. 6/14/10 Called the credit card company & they called PRIMO / US1PHOTO with me on the phone as well, the guy said they would reverse the charges within 24-48 hours. 6/28/10 Called the credit card company again as the charges still had not been reversed. Will never use them - AWFUL!

These guys are the WORSE shopping experience I have ever had. We had to cancel our credit card and file a dispute. They called us after a couple of days to try to cross sell accessories at 2-3 times the actual price. They never give you order number or a tracking number and simply LIE thorugh their teeth. Anyone who has been swindeled by these guys they are registered to a Wesnick Inc. in Albany, NY.
