A couple of months ago, I placed an order, then had to change my schedule because it was delivered a day early. Since I don't have Prime, Amazon seems to think it did a great job - holding the order for two days (before processing) then rushing it out a day early.
Last month, same issue - had to change my schedule because they decided to ship a day early.
This month, I place an order on July 5th for delivery on July 10th... and they held the order from processing a couple of days, then Alexa told me the night of 9th package would be delivered on July 10th by 10PM... then July 10th says delivery July 11th by 10PM... now it's saying delivery on July 12th - AND NOT A SINGLE ATTEMPT TO CONTACT ME (email or through account) ABOUT THE DELAYS.
It wouldn't be quite so bad if Amazon ("the most customer concentric company in the world") hadn't gotten rid of "feedback" on the website, hadn't changed from "chat" with customer support to a phone number almost impossible to find on the website, and hadn't changed to "delivery report" options to 'canned' answers.
Amazon is ONLY interested in your money, NOT your satisfaction.

I would of just asked for an Amazon gift card but I also was able to use my rewards card for my lunch I went to Taco Bell.So I purchased a baby bouncing door way swing for my grand son.

Shopping from home is super comfy and the fast shipping is a huge plus. I docked a star because some pricey items turn out to be fakes and Amazon doesn't seem to do much about it. But overall, I'm pretty happy with most of my purchases, they arrive quickly and are packaged well.

I am a long time member of Amazon and I have been continuously been let down by their deliver service lately. I used to see "deliver tomorrow" and think, "that's awesome". Now I think, do I need to spend $35 in approved purchases and even after that I end up on the phone with Amazon arguing why I can't cancel my order that hasn't shipped and is three days late. Amazon service department solution is for me to wait for the item, then drive to a USP store and return, it when they don't expect it for five more days.

99% of products sold on Amazon are made in China-i have ordered hundreds of them because they are typically cheaper. They never last, and are mostly misrepresented. Ex: most stainless steel products end up rusting. Their customer service is always terrible and difficult to understand.

I've been using Amazon for a very long time. For work work and personally, it has become very Convenient. However, recently I realized that their system is flawed. If you have an issue with the product return, extremely careful of who you speak with and follow up. I received an email stating that I had not returned an item. I called customer service to figure out what the issue was and fix it. The representative on the other line said that everything was fine and that I no longer needed to send the item back. It was taken care of. It was only a $10 item so I assumed that was correct, fast-forward a couple of months later I get another email stating that I have not returned the item. Again, I called customer service. Let them know the situation and they told me that everything was taken care of. Fast-forward another two weeks, I get an email saying that they recharged my credit card. What!? Call customer service again they said they can't find any information and because it's been over 130ish days, They can't find any tracking information, I would have to pay it, there's nothing they could do and they have to end the call. Literally hanging up on me. Twice this happened. Look, the money isn't the issue, however, it would be if I didn't have a lot of money. The issue is that They told me it was taken care of on multiple occasions and then when they charge my credit card again, and they couldn't do anything about it because too many days. That is ridiculous! For a big company it is so disappointing. The customer service representatives don't seem to be truthful, Amazon's gotten sloppy. Just recently I received a package that had nothing in it, and it didn't appear to be sealed. I really like Amazon. I hope they get it together!

You can get anything on Amazon! I order stuff all the time, from like, snacks to weird gadgets I don't even need. Shipping is pretty fast and if you don't like something, you can just return it, now sweat.
But sometimes, it's too overwhelming. You get lost in the endless scrolling. And the quality of some things? Eh, you get what you pay for, you know?
Still, it's super convenient, and I'd probably be lost without it.

Amazon- Avoid if Possible. Too big to care

Ordered an item (pen) on March 28,2024. Never sent by the seller and no way to contact the seller. Ordered a similar item from another seller, which was cancelled by the seller.

Was told by Amazon that I could order another item and a credit would be applied to my account for all of the trouble.

Amazon policies are horrible! The AI system is terrible. Out sourcing to foreign countries does not work. Language barrier and no accountability. Waste of time. Just plain frustrating.

I spent over 8 hours trying to resolve this issue. Promised a credit of $177.79 from Amazon. Now Amazon will not fulfill the promise. No compensation to the buyer. Amazon does not really care since they are a monopoly that has cornered the market.

What a mess! This is one of the worst customer experiences I have ever gotten from a company.

Amazon used to be the gold standard to buy from. Now it is horrible...I need to limit my business dealings and begin to purchase elsewhere.

If I could give this company a negative rating it deserves it. Buyer beware!

On my front door, there's a big notice saying, 'POLITE NOTICE: PLEASE DELIVER ALL PARCELS TO THE BACK DOOR.' I've called multiple times regarding this issue. I'm disabled and can't use the front door as my mobility chair and a lot of medical stuff are in front of it.

I spend a significant amount of money with you since I can't go out to shop. I've had to call my carer to come and get my parcel because I'm afraid it may end up stolen if left on the roadside. I've spent hours on the phone with you about this matter. I'm afraid you're going to lose a good customer all because the drivers can't be bothered to come to the back door.

They are fine with leaving parcels at the back door because no one will see them and it does say, 'deliver to back door' on the delivery note. I feel as though I'm facing disability discrimination. I'm very upset over this matter.

I can't go out to shops to get my shopping because of my limited mobility. I have to call my carer after every delivery.

I shop at Amazon frequently. It is so much more convenient for me. When I order the X Large bags of dogfood it is great that it comes right to my door. I luv their customer service and their fair policies. Everything I have ordered has arrived in perfect condition except chips & crackers.
I learned they don't travel well through Amazon shipping. LOL

He's super greedy. He has low prices for now until all other retailers go bankrupt and there is only Amazon. Then he will have a monopoly and make you pay hundreds of dollars for a single nail.

If you've ever tried to use the Amazon help to track or locate a package that is not being delivered, you know this already. They have a short list of a few benign topics they might address and no way whatsoever to reach a human. It is useless.

They have told me for over 3 days that an item is out for Delivery and it never gets here. Their cute little track bar makes progress all day, but nothing arrives. This is a totally screwed system and there is not ONE THING anyone can do about it. Pitiful asses.
