Chris, I am so happy with my AmeriGlide stair lift. Received the item on a Friday and it was installed Saturday without any problems. The stair lift is perfect with the materials and workmanship up to the highest standards. Thank you for all your help and it was a pleasure to work with you. I certainly would recommend this item to everyone. Loretta Murphy
After doing a fair amount of research I chose AmeriGlide and was very happy that I did. I called for some information and immediately was on the phone with someone who not only answered my questions but also took my order, great personal service. The Stairlift shipped a couple days later than anticipated but shipping is always an estimate with anyone so no problem there. I had a little help with the installation which was a breeze and we were both very impressed with the construction and quality of the product. Go no further, go AmeriGlide!
The starilift works very good and wasn't very hard to install. I ran into one problem, so I called for help and they walked me thru the problem to a good end. I am very satisfied with all aspects of the purchase.
I am not satisfied with this company. I have a split stairway to the basement, It costed me $150.00 to find out they could NOT install the stair lift, unless I bought 2 of them, because I have a small landing in the middle of these stairs. I frequently fall going UP the stairs, only a matter of time before I fall down the stairs. I also have to take a nitro tab to come up the stairs.
My wife has advanced MS and was unable to climb the 11 stairs to the upstairs bedroom so I researched on the internet for a stair lift. Ameriglide was the most reasonably priced and the reviews were almost all positive as was the ease of installation. I purchased a re-furbished unit (looked new to me). It arrived in 3 large boxes about a week later, I got my neighbor to help carry the base/seat unit to the top of the stairs, the rest of the install I did my self, was really easy with excellant directions. My wife now can traverse the stairs up and down. She still has problems with the 2 stairs at the bottom she has to climb to get to the chair landing, maybe Ameriglide will come up with a curved 90 degree section to eliminate this! Thanks Ameriglide.
