I had a question about a car problem I was having and they had the answer, very useful. I checked out some of the articles and enjoyed the video articles very much.
Answers.com would be rated 5 stars if the question were "Which Internet site is able to reduce the fastest computer to dial-up performance?" The epitome of clickbait. I believe the next edition of Webster's will have the definition of clickbait as "see answers.com". Only wish that I was able to rate the site at zero stars which is actually more that it deserves.
Clickbait. The people behind this site should be hunted by the masses armed with torches and pitchforks. They are obviously just laughing at any of us who are fool enough to follow any of their links. Laughing as they count their advertisers' money. I want to punch them in the throat.
Slide shows are not my favorite but I will go through them if it is a worthy story. What I will not tolerate is the need to click 3 times just to see an answer to a question all for ad impressions. Uugh. No site is more frustrating than this site so why do people keep sharing the stories on Twitter and facebook? Stop! If no one shares, they will go away!
Stay away! The slick content and hot topics lure you in and then you are snared by endless streams of advertising junk! Your system gets locked up. ENOUGH! Fight the abuse. Fight the Bait & Switch assault on your time! RUN AWAY from Answers.com!

Browser Freezing, Extreme Difficulty Trying to Leave the Site, Adds that MUST be Opened to Continue using the Site and a Whole Lot of other EXTREMELY OBNOXIOUS Problems.

Click bait crap website, even when it does have something moderately interesting the pages refuse to load. Why yahoo keeps allowing this site into its feed is beyond me.
This site is the worst site I've visited. Poor scripts and ads prevent you from viewing the content.
When I see a link, I don't even follow it. The design is unbelievably bad. The concept worse. I sure hope no one got paid to work on this. A high school kid could have done a much better job.
Awful, awful, awful. Catchy headlines with erroneous, outdated information in the stories. Wading through their adds is more gelatinous and sloppy than cleaning out an army latrine. DON"T click here!
NEGATIVE 300 stars out of five for pop-ups, worthless, outdated, or erroneous information, clickbait, and ABSOLUTELY NO way to communicate with the webmaster (or anyone ELSE involved with the business) with a complaint. Answers.com is a HUGE waster of time, with NO references, NO communication option, and NO ACCOUNTABILITY.

If I see answers.com on a news or personal interest link I won't even waste my time. You can measure the speed of the bandwidth with a sun dial. The only reason I gave it one star is because I don't have the option of a negative star.
Hundreds of ads - pop-ups - viruses
Yahoo keeps putting more and more Answers.com sites on their page - I no longer use Yahoo because of this.
Answers.com is the worst of the worst
It takes too long to load and ad-ons are frustrating. Norton also block a virus from this site. Avoid it at all cost.
How long does it really take answers.com to load a singly page? I gave up after 30 minutes in an attempt to actually find out how much BS loads on each page. Fact, I could not sit long enough to let the page actually finish loading ads or if it ever does finish. This site is a croc of shi... totally unusable. I cannot believe that companies associate themselves to a site where you ad may be the 50th or higher add to load, waste of money and time. Also provides overlapping videos, partial videos etc. in between windows error messages due to not responding, long running scripts, freezing your browser etc. I personally will not use any business advertised on this site due to their acceptance of the tons of garbage this site loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads... To bad you cannot give negative stars because they deserve all of them you could check
