The woman I dealt with was very nice. She recommended a facility for my very elderly parents that seemed wonderful. Unfortunately by the time I could get my mother just medically approved by the evil Arizona Long Term don't-Care people and put them there the service has been good one day and had the next. Maybe there aren't any decent places for seniors who aren't rich.

While I really appreciated the responsiveness and the help getting my mom placed so quickly (especially around a holiday week) my liaison misguided me to a location that does not in fact take Medicaid like I stated as a criteria. She also didn't take ownership of the mistake when I tried to talk to her about my financial concerns now.

I didn't know where to start when I started looking for assisted living for my mother. They were able to sort out her needs to point me to the right place. They are so informative. I'm glad I went through them.

I started looking at places for my father in law but got quickly overwhelmed. Then I found A Place for Mom. They make the whole experience so much easier and shared resources with me that I had no idea were even available, such as a VA housing allowance (that's not the name of it, but that is essentially what it is). A Place for mom provided several independent living centers that met our criteria. Including distance from our home, quality care and well maintained facilities. We did contract with one of the living centers recommended by A Place for Mom.

When my parents told me that they were ready to move into an independent living community, I wasn't really sure where to start the search. My wife talked to some co-workers and some of them recommended A Place for Mom. After making the obligatory "What about Dad?" joke, we called and got connected with Vicki, who immediately sent us 5 locations that fit what we thought Mom and Dad would like. She set up a visit for us at the closest community and followed up with us afterwards to make sure we had all of our questions answered. I have now learned so much about the various levels of care available and how different providers cater to those various needs. It was nice to have someone show us the ropes rather than having to figure things out on our own.

Excellent. The service helped us locate independent living facilities in our budget with the serviced we desired. It was quick and saved us hours of wasted time. We were able to get appointments in a day. Nice work. People on phone were knowledgeable and helpful.

Due to sudden decline in mom's situation, I was in urgent need of a memory care facility. Within the first hour, I had 4 referrals, with ratings and two same-day appointments to visit places that met my criteria.
They offered support and understanding and made a huge difference.

DeeKenna Rohde was such an invaluable aid in helping me find a wonderful assisted-living facility for my mom. I live in Colorado, and my mom lives in Albuquerque, NM. I first contacted a few NM state, county and city agencies to ask what assistance they could provide. They couldn't provide much, saying I would need to contact every facility myself. I contacted A Place for Mom. And the first facility DeeKenna recommended was the facility I chose for my mom.

When faced with the realization that mom would need the support and safety of an assisted living facility and with no experience in navigating the maze of choices I turned to A Place for Mom. My contact, Robert I. Was amazing! He listened to the needs, budget and concerns my mother had and recommended the perfect facility. APFM offered several choices and left the decision to us. Mom moved in yesterday and is very happy.

We loved the service, information, resources and our advisor Michelle. She guided, encouraged, and gave us a wealth of information to help us in this difficult process and even encouraged me a lot in a very complex, stressful family situation in dealing with this.

I began my search for Senior Living looking for an appropriate place for my husband and I. However as it was developing my husband suddenly passed away. Having a new set of priorities given the major change of circumstances was challenging but I was able to adapt and follow through with the recommendations that were provided.
