I am the managing partner of a movie cinema in St. Louis. We called twice today due to no internet connectivity. We were told there is an outage and the issue would be corrected by the end of the day. It's now 9:30pm (11.5 hours later) and we still do not have internet connectivity. As a BUSINESS, we are critically dependent on internet connectivity. The majority of our ticket sales are generated ONLINE. We lost a lot of money today due to AT&T's inability to restore connectivity. I wish I could say this is the first time we had significant issues with AT&T, but it's not. AT&T is simply not a reliable provider. Not for business. Not for residential. We are likely going to switch to Spectrum.
I made a payment on 6/27 and they put it on someone else's account. I have spent days upon stays and hours upon hours trying to fix this. 2 times at&t requested a transfer and could not do it due to not having a read to this other persons account. They ask me for their passcode. It's not my account, how would I have access. They say it is not their fault because I paid on the phone. Are you kidding me, that number is the number you gave to me on the email to call. Once I pay off this phone, I will never use their service again. At&y is horrible at customer service. T-mobile's actual service is not as good, however they bend over backward to keep you happy when they mess up. I miss T-MOBILE AND WILM RUN BACK AS SOON AS I can. AT&T you are so disorganized. You could not find my payment twice even with my confirmation number you guys emailed me. You emailed me the transfer was successful and it was not. When I did have 2 services with you, you could not link the accounts. For such a big company you Guys are so horrible with the tools your reps have to solve your clients issues
Have been with T-mobile for 10 months. Customer service was great, cell service wasn't working out called ATT to see what they could do. I asked about a 12 month prepaid service they advertised. The woman asked why I wanted prepaid and then hung up on me. Called back and got someone new. Told them I was a veteran and asked about the discount. When she said it was 80 dollars per line, I said it was much more than advertised on line and that's when it went downhill. She was borderline yelling at me. I asked her why she was so mad and she didn't answer. Thanked her for her time and end the call. Looks like I dodged a bullet. If this was potentially new customer behavior, I'd hate to see if I had an issue.
Horrible experience. Ordered online, recieved email saying order is on hold next day. Called # in email and they said they couldn't locate my credit file (no one else has an issue). Confirmed my identity and waited 15 min to be approved. Was approved but he said he couldn't use old order and had to start new one. So spent 30 min doing a new order (had to confirm identity again too) to find out monthly bill is now $50 more than what order said online. Just canceled everything and guess I will be staying with Verizon. Sure would be nice if these company service companies used people that spoke good English as well.
For a month and a half I have been dealing with AT&T and I'm getting nowhere. I have 3 lines on my account. My son's phone screen just went black. We were told it was a warranty issue. We sent the phone back with a UPS label that was provided by AT&T, somehow UPS lost the phone because the only scan that UPS shows for that tracking number shows it was scanned into the UPS system and that's where it stops. AT&T has been rude and unhelpful. We were told by AT&T to file a claim with UPS, we did, then we get an email from UPS saying that we are the 3rd party and AT&T has to file the claim. We call AT&T and they are telling me that they can't submit a claim, it's our responsibility. UPS says it's up to AT&T and the whole time AT&T keeps saying that they won't restore our service until they get the phone or we pay $1000.00. This is ridiculous. I swear I'm ready to start calling attorney's to round up other people to start a class action lawsuit. First we had to deal with their damn data breach, now this. Can anyone help?
Be prepared to wait up to 3 hours to get someone on the phone, and then when they help you they will nicely SELL you an outdated phone or their Air internet service that looks like a toy and cannot be setup with customer support only available during business hours. Good luck with tech support. Don't get suckered into their selling tactics. I am on the phone now waiting again. The worst customer service.
AT&T had a lawsuit claim for throttling back service on cell phones during a two-year period. I submitted a claim for two out of my at that time seven phones on the account of which we now have 10 phones and the claim was paid for one service they don't care how many lines had an issue, which is absolutely ridiculous for multi billion dollar company that just Rapes its customers with their billing practice, AT&T is one of the only phone companies still charging all the taxes and sur fees for their phone service, where all the other companies have rolled that into the price of the phone I've been a customer with AT&T on this personal account since 2008 but I've been with AT&T since 2001 it's terrible service
This is the worst company I have ever... They always get up your bill without any authorities. I was paying 187 by phone the last week and for a few months ago, and yesterday I was thru the app and a charge of 500 dollars more per line was apply it, I usually have two lines and my ipad. My currently bill for this month its of 1500 dollars. I JUST CAN SAY THIS IS VERY DISAPOIMENT FOR EVERYBODY. If your choice what company wants in your life, but for me... I been with At&,t, Cingular, or whatever you wanna be called for 25 years. Every where else was cheaper. But had crappy service. I stayed where I had service anywhere. Fast forward to 2024. Now At&t use to be the best now they just as crappy as Verizon in my Area. (St.Joseph Mo,) now I don't really have internet services hardly ever and the stuff I be trying to watch that saying no internet so I leave it o. The page thinking it will get service eventually, and it does eventually. But the whole time I've been waiting on the freaking Internet to pop back on its steady clocking that ive been using data. But really I haven't cause it says no service at the top of my page and won't load. No happy with the services anymore at all. I can't get internet in my work building, barely AR my home. I don't know what happened to At&t but yall falloff. Your service sucks and everytime I call customer support yeah I get help but I can't barely understand what they're saying because I'm hard hearing and they don't speak English that well. I don't know what happened if yall sound the company or you need to upgrade your cell phone towers or put more out and quit being cheap. Because I'm seriously thinking of shopping for a different provider cause it's gotten that bad

All calls go to overseas locations. Indonesia or Pakistan. You can't understand them or you can hear cause they're in a large call center. They can never help you with problems. They sometimes give you phone numbers to call for help that aren't even valid numbers. They did damage to my property due to my neighbor getting cable put in… they did nothing to prevent it from happening and do nothing to fix. Even when I did have AT&T …totally poor service. Take heed to what I say or you're be as frustrated as I am.
I was with AT&T for years, Mostly the service and billing were good. Then about 2 1/2 years ago my husband had a fall, so I decided to get him an apple watch - in order to use and apple watch I had to purchase an iPhone. After purchasing the iPhone from the Apple store we went to the AT&T store to get the watch they were offering a buy one get $200 off a second one (which was over time $5.56 per month.) They told us we could use both watches off one iPhone, after we got the watches they said we needed another iPhone - so I purchased a mini at 1/2 off, again over time for 36 months. They said my husband could get a military discount if we put everything on his account. So, we switched - later I found out that he could still get the discount on my account. - so everything was switched to mine, they also made us upgrade to a higher service. The process of the switch lost us some money, so we weren't happy. Back to now! I decided to pay off the iPhone and watches. I called them on February 14th and paid everything off made the switch to Xfinity, I was told they would not prorate, that I still had to pay for that billing cycle February 13th to March 12th, I had no choice but to agree. I paid the bill in full, then to my surprise I received another bill this month for $52.74. They said that was proration for ONE DAY! I called and they gave me a $#*! and bull story that we were still on AT&T even though we transferred back on February 14th. 2024. The bill they sent me is so hard to understand - it appears they just throw numbers on there. The person I spoke to didn't go over everything with me. The bill was automatically paid. If the full monthly bill was $182.83 How is $52.74 the amount for 1 day? Beware of AT&T - I paid all this money when I have service with another provider. They say no contract. This is worse - if you have a contract, you know when it ends. I've been told by several people they should be reported to FCC, I have a full file of all the crap! I just want to be done with them.

Issue began at point of sale at Walmart OSL. They have also been unavailable to assist. I am left with a large bill and no service. AT & T has been my only provider and I am switching after this mess. Will be contacting Attorney General. Staff are friendly but have not resolved the billing error.
AT&T is so dishonest. They will say anything to get your business. Read the fine print. You will need to ask for a copy of the agreement before signing. They have the worst customer service EVER!
Head my warning. My husband went to wallmart to pick up to of the cheaper phones we normally get with straight talk$38.00 a month and phones usually are $100.00 each. They have a scammer working at wallmart that told my husband at&t is a better price and phones were $89.00 each. They took his pin locked phones so you cant turn them off and in 2 months we are up to $700.00 in charges and cant turn off service its such a scam they called m,y husband and said they are aw3are of the issue with this happening and then sdaid they would correct the problem. They never called back bill keeps coming. They will never get a dime more from us. we are in business and will be sure to spread the word. Awful npeople! At&t survives on scamming people!

Your Steve sales person was responsible of making false commitment. I bought 2 samsung phones and home internet services as per Steve he said the bill would be $95 plus tax for 2 phones ACP discount plus $20 discount will also apply
3 month after connection my bill is still coming of cell phones $124 and $128 which include charges of home services install by Steve which he says is 0 charges actually its $ 9.99 monthly and there is another charges applied $4.99
I am not getting any discounts as per commitments

Answer: Terrible service, this is the worst service I've ever had. Canceled all services with this company after my customer service experience. Customer service is horrible, their service in general is horrible, and they don't offer anything I can't get at any other competitors store. I wouldn't recommend service or work with this company, they are discriminatory and bias. All they do is take advantage of you and try to sell you stuff that you don't need so they can raise their commission. If you want to be serviced by a bunch of dilettantes, this is the place for you, bad service, work, and experience, Joshua at legacy village has terrible customer service experience.
