Heartfelt thanks
October 2, 2017

I wanted to extend my heartfelt thanks to you and your team for getting me top dollar on my vehicles diminished value. My vw Jetta was severely damaged and the final repair bill was over $8,500. At first the insurance company offered me $1,200. I contacted Autoloss and spoke with Monica. They provided me a DV report for $6,500. After going back and forth with the insurance company for a few months I settled for $6,200. I was very happy with the outcome as well as the service I received from autoloss. I' d recommend Autoloss to anyone I know. D. Johnson. Phoenix, Arizona

Nice to work with
September 30, 2017

I found using autoloss a pleasure. I am on the east coast so I was slightly hestitant to use a company on the west coast. I liked that autoloss opened early so I was able to speak with the owner on my timeline. Monica was always friendly and helpful. She really seemed to have a lot of expertise dealing with the insurance companies. Autoloss completed my total loss claim and negotiated with them as well I was very pleased with my payout. Thank you autoloss Marie l

I just got my refund check
September 30, 2017

My policy was maxed out and I was unable to get my diminished value check. Autoloss spent months on my case. Sending demand letters to the insurance company and working on my claim. Autoloss tried everything. Finally, they just offered to give me back my fee. I got the refund check 5 days later. I will go back again if I get hit again. Stephanie in Orlando

Beware of Autoloss Inc.!
September 12, 2017
Updated review

Like so many others, I was ripped off by Auto Loss. Monica Fisher promised me results that are unrealistic and then strung me along for months by giving useless advise. Farmers Insurance basically laughed at the Vehicle Diminution of Value Report prepared by Auto Loss and said they have a reputation for greatly over stating diminished values. My Lawyer informed me that companies like Auto Loss are "Toothless Tigers" who talk a good game, take your money and disappear. Don't fall for this scam! Insurance companies aren't stupid, they run their own diminished values and make you an offer, if you don't like it hire a Lawyer because that is the only way to motivate Insurance companies to settle.
Auto Loss took advantage of me by using deceptive trade practices and they will do the same to you. Update: Monica suddenly remembers be! LOL! Farmers Insurance offered me a low $1000 settlement in the beginning which is way I hired Autoloss Inc. I was promised a more substantial settlement,. Which was not the case, Autoloss Inc. has no ability to generate better offers, they are just hot air!

After reviewing our file this is a current customer. Stewart received an offer of $1,000 for Diminished Value. We tried to help him further but he stated he just wanted to get his money back. We can not refund him his fee because he did not follow the process we sent him originally and he received approximately 4x the appraisal fee. We have tried to help him numerous times but he refuses to let us help him. We are BBB Members and have completed over 30,000 reports in the last 20 years and we are expert legal witness for DV in most states. We have excellent credentials and Autoloss received the highest DV / punitive settlement I believe in CA history. Stewart is slandering our name because we will not refund him his fee because we received an offer of $1,000. Monica Fisher, Owner of Autoloss

Great Experience!
August 10, 2017

Monica,

I just wanted to let you know I received a wire transfer from State Farm in less than a month (8/2/17) the almost three times the original amount from 4,073.00 to 10,200.00. You and your staff were very helpful through this process.

Thank you so much,
Kylan

I contacted Autoloss from Portland, Oregon following a poor evaluation from the at fault insurance company. Monica was attentive and supportive. That's really where the good experience stops. There appeared to be a real possibility that the report they were going to create would have allowed my attorney and I to negoitae the actual cash value of my truck (ACH). In the end, we decided to go with them... What a poor choice... Do more research before taking the bait.

DO NOT WASTE $300! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Once the report became final, I was blown away how poorly it was constructed. Honestly, writing style aside, the actual data used wouldn't have done anything for our negotiating leverage. Do not use this company. Nobody cares... Crappy job, shame on you for acting like the reporting you're doing does anyting that is purported in your qualifications--which by the way--was half of the 5 page report. I cant believe the investors, managers, evaluators, and IT system analysts sleep at night? I'd find a real job so I could live with myself.

Thanks for nothing. I settled with the at fault company for $25,000.00 on my own.

I am sorry this client is upset. He stated if I did not give him back his money he would write a review that was negative. He was happy with the report and we sent him a signed copy. Once we stated we could not give him back his money we got the negative review. I can forward any prospective customer a copy of the email showing the client was happy with the report.

BUYER BEWARE!
June 12, 2017

I hired Autoloss to try and get abetter settlement from Allstate. Monica was very friendly and attentive, until she got my money. They did get me a report very quickly and sent it to Allstate. That is all they did. They then ask you to do all the work ion order to get your claim. The reality is that all the insurance companies in the U.S. know of this operation and they don't give them any credibility. Allstate asked if they could do an additional inspection of my car and raised their initial offer of $2500 to $5445. Monica had originally told me that I could expect $8500. I asked them to go and do their job, they did nothing. I have called repeatedly and Monica has never come to the phone again, always handing me off to an assistant.

I am settling today with Allstate for what I was able to negotiate on my own. Autoloss did nothing and didn't do any of the things they initially promised, Just a couple of scammers taking honest people's money. When you ask for a refund their is a laundry list of requirements in order to get your money back. Not worth my time, so I am writing this post to warn others to stay away from this horrible and deceitful company. It is pretty simple to see when you look at the reviews that everything I am saying is true.

Whatever they respond to my post, don't believe it, just more of the scam. I am reporting to the BBB.

This client asked for a refund once he received $3,000 more for his diminished value claim. We could not give him a refund. We asked him to get a dealer quote and we could write up a demand letter or help him with an insurance commissioner complaint. He did not want further help but stated he wanted his money back. We are members of the BBB and the BBB sided with us. We have numerous employees to help all customers from start to finish. We have all email threads showing the evolution of the claim.

What all the negative reviews say. In My Opinion, a humongous waste of time and money. Yep, Monica is your BFF until you run into problems. When that happens good luck getting a return call/email. And Monica can't even spell! Says a lot when a *cough* business sends emails and templates you are supposed to submit filled with gross typos! RUN. Please do yourself a favor and Do Not give them a dime. You can do better on your own for the *lack of* service they provide. Oh, and when you call Monica out, she turns into a petty little $#*!. The nastiest and most unprofessional *business* I have ever had the displeasure of hiring.

These people did an amazing job for me. They got an additional $3,500 for a claim against Allstate in Texas. They followed up on everything, returned every phone call and email, and they did exactly what they promised.

Waste of time and money!
October 27, 2016

These people cannot do anything for you if your in Texas, don't know about other states, and are a huge waste of time. When if first contacted them Monica the ceo was jonny on the spot calling and emailing and assured me that i could get my money back if I was not satisfied, not you need to read the refund policy and it could take up to half a year. The insurance company of the guy that hit my car is not going to pay anything more and the insurance commission will not do anything about it because there are no laws in Texas governing demished value. I first contacted autoloss on 7/31/16 and it is 10/27/16 and this process has been a waste of time and I will be very suprized if I see a refund and If I do no telling when that will be. She made sure to tell me i could have a refund if I wasn't satisfied over the phone so that there is no record of it. There has also been 2 times that i have called and left message and got no return at all for around a week so i had to call again and then it is only reply by email. Don't waste your time. Hire a lawyer or just take what is offered but this company is not the way to go.

Update:

After I sent in all the information that Monica said I needed for a refund I waited well over 90 days for my refund. Surprise surprise I did not show up. I then contacted them again and asked why my refund had not arrived, and was given an excuse, but told they were sending it right out. About a week later I did finally recieve my refund.

They are very quick to reply at first, but once they get your money and give you their initial appraisal, they are difficult to reach and unresponsive when help is needed. They obviously have no intention of helping after the appraisal template is completed. I had referred two other people to their site as they were initially very helpful; my referrals have experienced the same poor service.

I made the mistake of using AutoLoss to provide me with a useful vehicle appraisal in my attempts to recover diminished value after being struck by another motorist. They essentially provided me with a listing of four comparable vehicles off of one of the search engines for pre-owned vehicles. They included a statement of the obvious regarding buyer preference between two "identical" autos, one repaired and the other original. The insurance company I was dealing with (State Farm) basically laughed when I mentioned AutoLoss. State Farm made several offers to settle, the final one less than half of what AutoLoss stated I deserved. Rather than drag this situation out any longer (7 months), I took State Farm's final offer. They could not have cared any less about the "appraisal" from AutoLoss.

The losses I incurred from the accident include the fee to AutoLoss...

Same story here as there are in many other negative reviews. Came upon their site and requested more details. Monica Fisher calls me the next day, sells me on her pitch and I pay the $200-300 fee. Was told they'd send me a detailed claim packet the following day. About a week later I finally get it. The vehicle used was wrong, along with the options. To make matters worse, although it does state some competive facts, it is nothing more than a template she gives to everybody with your vehicle used. After going back and forth for months, and money getting tight as I was off work from the accident. I emailed auto loss, com to discuss a refund and twas immediately shot down. The insurance company sent the Iowa law stating they didn't have to pay which I forwarded that to Monica for proof. She them wanted to hear it from someone working for the state. Sent that one to Monica too and she wanted yet someone else to confirm it! I sent one more confirmation and I never heard a word from auto loss.com again, nor Monica or the 50 random email addresses this company has with phony name sigs at the bottom. I never did receive a cent back and honestly got no help. "We'll fight for you" means they will let you confront the company and when they say no, you return to Monica and she tells you a response. Not exactly a solid argument when they can't talk to your company themselves. This entire business is a scam.

Don't be sucked in by there claims and being polite. They are there to get your money only.
There generic forms sent to the insurance company are worthless and scare no one.
You have to do the negotiation your self or spend the money on an attorney
Not some one with out a voice.
The 250.00 spent only added to my diminished value loss.
BE WARNED.

Not to put down their methods but obtaining a diminished value figure using auto auction results is something anybody can do plus this method isn't accepted by the insurance companies. Do your due diligence and find an auto diminished value appraiser that uses only dealer quotes. They are very hard to find because that method requires diligent work. Always check a company's BBB rating too. This company has had multiple complaints.

I am an attorney in Houston, Texas and worked with Autoloss years. I have found they write one of the best appraisal in the nation. I had used many companies before them and after seeing their report I have never used another company. They look at the vehicle and are licensed in numerous states. The review above is wrong and inaccurate. Steven Hagel, Attorney at Law

This business is lying to customers about their references and the work they will do for them which they find out after they pay. The fee does not allow enough money for a personal visit of an appraisar to review the vehicle damage independently. They say they will do more than they do and the wife of the owner writes the references and posts them sometimes on behalf of a separate business they own.
