Diminished value claim
February 10, 2021

I was involved in an accident, the other vehicle ran a red light. I had only had the vehicle 6 months. I was told by a friend about diminished value on vehicles, I knew nothing about it but I contacted Auto Loss and spoke with Monica and they helped me through the entire process. Always quick responses and very helpful. The company wanted to settle for $5000 +/- with the help from Monica and her team I received $8700 +/-.

Nice check

AutoLoss.com with another slam dunk!

No one ever likes to pay money to fight their own insurance. That being said, I would recommend anyone in this situation to seek help from Monica Fisher at Autoloss.com. From the start they handled everything professionally. All I had to do was sit back and let the professionals handle the process. My claim was 50% more than the insurance company originally offered. Very timely and professional.

Monica and her team did an amazing job helping me to dispute a Total Loss claim with my auto insurance after my Land Cruiser was stolen on Christmas Day. Auto Loss settled the claim for DOUBLE what my insurance company initially offered me for my vehicle! Not only that, but the communication throughout the process was amazing with Monica and her team keeping me updated in a timely manner throughout every step of the process.

Auto Loss

In October I was involved in a motor vehicle crash in my 3 week old Expedition. I had heard about diminished value and asked the insurance company about it. I was told that in my state it was not really an option. I went on line and found Auto Loss and called Monica. She told me that we did have a case for diminished value and asked me for specific information. She explained the process to me and told me she would have my diminished value claim submitted to the insurance company the following Monday. It took the insurance company about a week to respond with an offer that was considerably less than what was fair. I contacted Monica and she wrote a counter offer up based on a fair assessment of the loss. I sent that in to the insurance company and within the week we settled.
There is no way we would have been treated fairly without the help we received from Monica at Auto Loss.

Good job. Difficult case

We had a tricky situation with an out-of-state claim and an insurance company that changed their adjustors in the middle of this three month ordeal. Monica and the team were very quick with the initial appraisal. In the end, I grew tired of the other adjustor company; they have nothing but time, and wearing you out is their job and they get paid by the hour. Monica helped to get us almost $3,000 more than their initial offer, so good job.

I had a great experience with working with Monica and her team at Auto Loss. My BMW was was in pristine condition before it was hit by car while it was parked. I reached out to Auto loss and Monica was extremely responsive and very helpful through out the process of recovering the diminished value for my car from the insurance company. She worked with me in providing all the necessary and supporting documents and i was able to settle for a $6000 check for my car. I highly recommend the team at auto loss.

Looking on yahoo I found autoloss. Autoloss completed a comprehensive diminished value claim. Autoloss also turned the claim into State Farm also. State Farm sent me a check for $4500. A great service for people that need claim help.

Beyond my expectations

Working with Autoloss was a pleasure. My neighbor told me about diminished value and gave me Monica's number. My new Toyota has minor damage due to a wreck but I knew someone owed me money. Within a few weeks I was able to call

False sense of hope

Well my vehicle got rear ended and from there I contacted autoloss.com, At first all amicable and happy to take your money. They issue me a report which was taken out from different dealerships around my area with stock industry language. They just fill in the blanks. After receiving the stock report they go silent on you with no support whatsoever. In my opinion they have a sweatshop operation producing stock reports with no value. I could've done a better job myself. Another note they get annoy when trying to contact.

Unethical Behavior

I found this service online thinking I would be able to be directed on where to find out information on how to calculate Diminished Value Claims for being a licensed appraiser in Texas. Monica Fisher, Owner & CEO went on and on about having 20 years experience and was the owner. I then said I was thinking this was a training site where I could buy a course and asked her how she got started when she abruptly figured out I wasn't hiring her firm for a claim and said she was hanging up, and she did.
As a Texas All-Lines Adjuster Licence holder myself, with 40 hours of continued education, 2 hours of which were on ethics having a passing grade of 97 out of 100 %, she clearly did not cover that part and was very unprofessional, rude to say the least... unethical.
You couldn't pay me enough to hire these people. I had to choose 1 star to able me to leave my review but, I really choose... Zero-0 stars!

When I spoke with this person he stated he wanted to work for us. I told him we were not hiring and I did not know who was hiring. He continued to go on another 5 minutes about his qualifications and I told him numerous times I could not help him. I finally just hung up because he would not let me go and I had a deposition coming up. I don't think it is unethical behavior to not hire a person. I tried numerous times to gently tell him I could not help him but he would not let me get off the phone. I wish him luck on his job search. Monica Fisher

DON'T TRUST THIS COMPANY

My car was hit 2 days after I purchased it brand new. There is frame damage so I can't trade it in or sell it. I contacted AUTOLOSS for help filing a diminished value claim. Monica told me I had a very solid DV claim and the loss on my vehicle was at least $11,000. From the very beginning I had problems with them. They made promises they never kept, they sent the claim to my insurance company instead of the company of the person who hit my car, I had to constantly call them or email them to follow up and they were always trying to get me to do their footwork for them. This went on for 8 months. I never received any money from the other insurance company and AUTOLOSS stopped answering my calls and emails when I asked for a refund, so their "guarantee" is a lie. I live in NY so obviously I couldn't visit their offices in OR, which makes it easy for them to drop the case and get away with it. The only power we have against this kind of fraud is word of mouth. I lost $300 on this transaction. Don't trust this company—it's a rip-off!

I don't know who this customer is? I have looked up the file and I don't see a customer in NY by that name. Every client that does not get at least the appraisal fee will be refunded the fee. Horrible customer service

Let me start with the fact I was able to recover some money as DV BUT:
1. They gave me a report initially which I shared with insurance. -- was ok.
2. everything after than was frustration. They don't read your emails. They sent me wrong numbers in claim letters, and when I asked them about it, Monica was like put in whatever number you like. And then she goes like "you didn't listen to me" and story goes.

After all, I do believe she does have knowledge and experience, but perhaps, due to number of customers she doesn't have time to dedicate to each customer.
Next time I would use another provider as I'm convinced I could get more out of this case, but Monica didn't have any interest to follow as we already had an offer and she'd secured her fee.
