I am a retired secretary who used to Avery templates quite easily. I've only been retired two years, but the template sites are SO different and so frustrating, that I'm very suspicious that Avery wants me to click for THEM to print off my project. The latest problem is with the template for "Print to the Edge Round Labels" Avery *******. First, you can't print to the edge because warning signs pop up that text may be cut off during the printing process. Second, (staying within the suggested parameters) the template was quite a bit off both vertically and horizontally, leaving me with only two out of the twelve labels that printed on my first page barely usable. I've spent almost two hours trying to figure out my own template for the 20 sheets of labels I purchased at Office Depot. Now I'm going to hunt the internet for possible templates from other sources that might match what I have, and if necessary, I'll buy a different brand. So very disappointed (and mad, can you tell?) at Avery!
I just got off the phone speaking with one of Avery.com's representatives. This was my FIRST time to have them print labels for me, and it was a TOTAL fail! I got the printed labels in the mail 5 days before Christmas for my New Years cards... and they were TOTALLY wrong! I will NEVER order from them again. And it WAS NOT CHEAP TO BUY THESE! The girl on the phone simply said "I'm sorry" and that in 7 to 10 days I'll get the money put back in my account. NEVER again!
Purchased the 5 Tab Print & Apply Clear Label Dividers set the other day. Seemed pretty cool that you could go online, design the divider labels to look the way you want it, use their template and print them out to stick directly on your divider. They were quite expensive, but if I could make it look nice, it was worth the money... Well, turns out the application is garbage, buggy, buttons don't do what they were intended to, and ultimately, when printed out, they do not look at all like what they looked like in the preview... The centering is all off. Its funny, because the whole purpose for the app they made for the dividers is completely destroyed. Overpriced, piece of trash. What a joke.
I created a template for Avery 5011 - Small tent cards - 6 per sheet.
Y on earth is this product out there for people to use, yet in this day and age... not many people have the knowledge to do so.
I will send it to you if need be! Let others get the benefit of my work! Payin it forward world!
The Avery site is very difficult to use. When you find a template, it wont open. Once you do find it and open it, the template program will center in some cells and not center in others. Post-it is so much easier!
Have purchased many labels produced by avery. Always assumed i could download a free template if i bought a pack of labels that had a format my software didn't know. Bought some square 1.5" labels. Tonight i wanted to use them to label some product and went to the avery web site to find the template. HEY - you already sold me the labels and you'll probably sell me more labels, what's wrong with just GIVING AWAY the template so i can use the label? I recommend you completely scrap your web site, fire the developer, and fire the tester, too. What a horribly complicated site that wants to sell me two hundred items but won't let me DOWNLOAD A SIMPLE TEMPLATE. I even went to the "help" and the web site doesn't match the help. How useful is that? Avery is in danger of losing all my business. Keep it simple, stupid. How bout a box that i can enter the label number and it downloads the template? Oh then you wouldn't waste an hour of my time trying to sell me junk i don't want.
Love love love this site. I have templates i made for a project and i am able to go back and reprint them. I've been doing it for a couple of years now and i don't have to worry about saving my job in a specific PC. I can open the avery site anywhere and open my template and print it. It has toooooons of templates for ALL kinds of projects. Thank you avery!

Answer: I think part of the issue is that Avery Dennison sold off their Labels and Software to CCL in 2016. I luckily still have an older system that uses Windows 7 and Design Pro 5.5 software and I can print most labels the way I want them. The Design and Print software is garbage compared to the older now retired Design Pro 5.5. I have a feeling that Avery (from CCL) is trying to get users to pay to print via their service instead of having a capable program that users can print at home or at work. Even the Design and Print is going away from the "offline" version and going with Online only... I will NEVER go with an Online version ever period! Your better bet unfortunately is to download a template for either Word or Photoshop and print from there if you have a system that is not compatible with Design Pro. Design Pro was created by Avery Dennison and not CCL industries

Answer: Apparently it does. When I ask for a second or third PDF, the file name has (2) or (3) added.
