Waste of money
October 30, 2023

I am paying $67/month for nothing. My internet doesn't work (1202 error) and Bell has tried their generic solutions to fixing it (including sending a tech), but nothing works... yet Bell continues to take my money. I continue to get no wifi.

Recently Bell change some receivers not supporting HD anymore and they are providing us with another model rental free of charge so we wouldn't loose the signal and the tv by the same token. All good until a recent update on my receivers and one decide to quit because of it. I chatted with Bell to try and fix and return the signal to no avail. I was told that they would send me another one FREE OF CHARGE because it was their fault the same model as the one I previously received to replace the obsolete one. After weeks with no receiver being ship to me, I chatted again to be told that the receiver in question was not ship because it's not free the other twit put is foot in his mouth by telling me that. I spoke to a manager (speaking I don't like with Bell I want everything in writing either email or chat because when it comes to Bell they are ALL LIARS) and was told that he shouldn't have said that nothing is free with Bell. He propose to a free receiver and would sent a technician FREE of charge again to install it and also in writing on the techinician work order FREE INSTALLATION. To my surprise the invoice of June I am being charge for the receiver. I sent it back along with the rental because I don't anything in my house that belongs to Bell. July invoice I am charged again for the receiver and all of this is in writing and they acknowledge that they did in fact received the receivers. I chatted again and yes I was told it takes a couple of billing to be fix. In August again the invoice is wrong and by the way I did pay as usual my service but not the extra charges for the receiver and the free installation. I talked to a manager and he gave me his name and phone number in Montreal and explained what happened. The receiver was in fact credited but not the installation of which he did credit me at the time. If you don't check with Bell or keep your mouth shut, how much people are they going to scam and stiff them of money that we don't owe them? So I was credited for the installation and charge for May which I paid. Comes September invoice they are charging me late fees. I called this dude manager scammer in Montreal left messages and he never returned my calls. This is what I mean by nothing verbally with Bell all in writing. I am stuck paying late fees because they won't send it to collection for a small amount but will give me a bad credit that's how Bell work. They are rotten lying scammer and never never ever never will I have anything of their junk in my house all my receivers belongs to me. They can keep their free rental in a year they will turn around and charge me oh yes scammer I wish you would have competition like in the US Rogers and videotron are not competition they are communist scammers just like Bell. I wish they would go belly up

I would like to clarify that Bell Canada has no interest or responsibility in taking care of the customers they have. I have been a customer of theirs for 3 years in their mobile line service, but I found that the price is very expensive and they have not given me any new offers during these years. After that, I subscribed to home internet, and the price was reasonable for the first year. After the second year, the price doubled. I said that I would like to change this company, but I continued after the Internet accident in Canada, but Bell would not be affected. I said, "I am a good service," but I said I would change it because of the high price, and from how much? One day I saw a representative from Roger in the building where I live selling new offers, so I asked him and he actually gave me an attractive offer, so I agreed to change the internet service from Bell to Roger. I also asked him about an offer for mobile phones and he told me yes we have because you will get the home internet. I will give you an offer and he actually gave me an offer. Tempting and that's the problem with bell. When I changed my mobile service from Bell to Roger, Bell fined me a $142 bill because I used the data package for an increase of 1.5 GB before the middle of the month. My subscribed package is 8 GB, and when the company changes, it is not necessary to exceed half before the middle of the month, meaning only 4 GB, and I exceeded it. For 1.5 GB, is it possible that 1.5 GB costs me 142 dollars? This does not make sense at all. When I called customer service, the representative told me this amount is because you have exceeded half and that you left the company without warning, and if you return to us, I will cancel this entire cost. He surprised me with an offer of 80 GB. Instead of 8 GB at a cheaper price than what I was at, is this possible? I call it stupidity and lack of interest in the customer, even in the offers, for 3 years and they will not provide any offers, so I returned so as not to pay this amount, but I will not advise anyone to subscribe to them. Thank you Bell for the service without any experience...thank you

After two months of sporatic internet, (out for two days at one point), maybe two hours phoning, chatting, etc, etc, we found ourselves with no internet yesterday ( August 26). As usual, I check for possible outages on my phone, none indicated. As usual, I do the modem reboot, the virtual repair, all of which adds up to more wasted time. They send a tech to my home, an arrogant and condescending one at that. After about one half hour, he announces that he is out of time, and we will have get another tech to come and continue. On his way out he says he just got a text that there is an outage in our area, (wow, that's a surprise). That was confirmed on my next "chat", after they escalated me to level 2. All of this nonsense, sending out a tech (who will never enter my home again), when all the while it was an outage as we thought. Don't know why I gave them one star.

Biggest scammer in all of Canada
August 15, 2023

This company is so crooked that every time I need to deal with them for something, it's hard to believe that this is real life and not just a bad dream. I just cancelled my service and I am SO excited to never deal with Bell again. In the future, I will be fine with paying more for an inferior product just so I'm not giving Bell my business. To start with, they will harass you endlessly. They will call you daily until you answer and turn down the service they want you to add on, they will also show up at your door and then continue to show up at your door over and over again until they finally give up. One day I had the same guy come back every couple of hours to knock on my door and windows because I wasn't answering the door (Yes, he walked around to my windows and started knocking on those too). The customer service reps never have any idea what's going on or how to answer my questions. Anytime I do get my questions answered, they end up being wrong anyway. The sales representatives will outright lie to you to get you to sign up for the service and then add additional things to your bill that you did not ask for or consent to have added on. Cancelling my service required me to explain to 2 different reps why I need it cancelled, that I do not need internet at my new home so I don't want to transfer my services, and I have no clue who is moving into my current home so I can't transfer the account to them. After processing the cancellation, the representative explained to me that the bill I receive in September (for August) will be prorated because I'm cancelling in the middle of the billing cycle. That makes sense so I had no questions there but then she started talking about my October bill. I questioned why I would be receiving a bill in October and she could not tell me. I got so fed up with her I don't knows and beating around the bush that I told her I would just call and fight with them in October if I get a bill. My experience with Bell has been nothing but horrendous, I will NEVER bring my business to them again.

My experience with Bell Internet has taken a turn for the worse due to their unethical rate increases 3 times in 2 years. Initially, I signed up for their service with a specific pricing plan with 3 years contract of fixed rate, thinking I could rely on a stable and affordable connection. However, my trust in Bell was shattered when they suddenly raised their rates without any prior notice or explanation.
In conclusion, my experience with Bell Internet's rate increase has been disheartening and infuriating. The lack of transparency, declining service quality, and poor customer support have left me feeling like just another dollar sign to them. I would caution anyone considering Bell as their internet provider to think twice, as their business practices do not reflect a company that values its customers' loyalty and satisfaction.

Waste of time
July 20, 2023

Opened a business mobility account, it was suspended for ID validation. Came to Bell store, spent 2 hours showing DL, bank statements, utility bills etc, the refused since Certificate of Incorporation shows different address, company registered 20+ years ago, no wonder we moved to another location not even once since that time. So far wasted 5 hours talking to time wasters over the phone

June 26, 2023

I took all the services from BELL. The internet in my house, 2 phone lines, and one deal of BRING BACK PHONE. Now after some time I have problem in my phone, and nobody is helping me out, they are asking me money to fix this.
I am paying almost 220$/month for the stupid service.

I was charged $200 for a router they had lost inside Bell itself. They admitted they had lost it, and told me they could not remove the charge until they found it. Several mounts later, they admitted they had finely found it, but it took several more mounts to remove the charge from my bill. In all, this affair lasted 9 mounts. At the end they were even threatening me to disconnect my services if I didn't pay the extra $200. I filed a complaint to the CRTC, but by the time they had started working on my case Bell had already canceled the $200 fine. No excuse from Bell, nothing.

I phones around spend hours talking with providers to find the best deal. Bell promised the best deal and the 1st month free.
1st Bill $216
I drove an hour and was on the phone for over an hour getting them to deal with it. It's all recorded go listen! So they did an investigation, came back yes I was told the 1 this free month. Was told I could not pay the 1st month and pay the 2nd when my discount was added. Drive an hour back to work.
2nd Bill $432! So back in the truck go an hour, 2nd investigation and now I'm told it will show up on my 3rd month and as of now since I haven't paid my 1st months bill it's affecting my credit which I need as I just started my own company!
They have no Clue what they are doing and just lie to get you off the phone! Disgusting treatment and now effecting my Life!

Bad experience
May 17, 2023

We cancelled our internet service, returned the equipment, and received confirmation of Bell receiving the equipment back. Started receiving overdue payment notices, called, and was told it would be rectified. By the 3rd month we contacted them and stated we have returned the equipment, had a receipt they received the equipment back, how could we be charged for a service they COULD NOT provide. Makes no difference to the robotic customer service personnel at bell, it's all about profits and not logic. We paid as we do not want this to hurt our credit rating.

It is unbelievable that we can't watch the British premiere league on bell tv! The options FUBO or the DOZN are expensive and not reliable! Bell is an arrogant company! The USA network would be the best option, but of course bell doesn't allow it! I can't wait until a group of people bring bell to the competition bureau and forces bell to allow USA network! Especially upsetting that bell doesn't give a *******@tt of pensioners like myself!

Bell Screws Up
March 15, 2023

I preordered a new phone through Bell, the new Samsung S23 (early Feb) afterwhich, I realized I meant to order the Ultra S23. When I called into 611 to change my order I was told to wait until I received the first phone and just send it back which I did late February,
After numerous calls to upgrade to the Ultra S23, I was told that as soon as the warehouse scanned the received phone, then I could complete the new upgrade.
Today, I called to check again. Canada Post tracking shows received over 2 weeks ago but the warehouse has yet to confirm this. Now they say I missed the deadline! The phone that is now sitting in the warehouse has been automatically activated. They will now expect me to return the old phone or charge me for that but I have no other phone to replace. Today they confirmed that the warehouse could take up to 6 weeks to confirm receipt!
This is very patently bad service for a long time customer. All I wanted to do was upgrade.

February 19, 2023

On the 11/02/2023 i called bell for service, the asked for deposit, even though i have a credit card that is always paid on time,so i gave them a 300.00 deposit, the 15/02/2023 they install the service 4 days after having my money,on the 17/02/2023, the prevention whatever that is,they call me and tell me i have to go to a Bell store to verify my identity, i told I dont have time, now keep in mind they have 300 of my money, within an hour of that call they suspended my service, while my daughter was working at home.

8 days later i am still fighting to get my deposit back, which only took them 45 seconds to get. I made a complaint to the CRTC, I will let you guys know what happens

Bell Canada doesn't understanding the meaning of the term "customer service". In short, it is impossible to get satisfaction from this company that seems to control so much of the airways, both in communications and media.
Trying to get to a human that understands one of the two official languages of Canada is almost impossible. If I hear that recorded message of "how important I am to Bell" again I believe I will become sick; sicker than Covid 19 made me.
Stop pushing on-line contact and bring people back to your Customer Service Department.
PS Bell I don't want your app. I am not interested in upgrading the cellphone I own, and I definitely don't want to subscribe to your extremely bias television stations
