I moved to Japan and was unable to access my account to shut down a roaming charge (always says I need to accept a text to a Canadian number that I obviously don't have anymore and can't be changed without coming in person which of course I can't do from Japan) so Bell, rather than help me find a way to pay the roaming charge a different way, quietly sent me to collections. Nice.

We had Bell wireless internet in our house. For 2 years, horrible. Not reliable and would need to be reset daily. Had 3 modems sent to us and same issue. Eventually left for Roger's and night and day difference. Never a problem. Bell came back and offered new wireless fiber optics in our are, great discount and price. 3 days and it failed again. Talking to representative and 9 pm, 30 minutes later advised that modem will need to be replaced. I work from home and cannot miss 3 shifts. Representative Jen advised they can give a $15 credit. Then after the new modem is in I can speak to retention to see if they will offer any compensation for missed days. Asked to speak with a supervisor and was told no. It's okay though. ROGERS CANADA was there before 8 am putting internet back in. Bless you Rogers for fixing Bell mess up.

Horrible Communication
January 27, 2023

My internet has stopped working and I had to give a call to their support team. After contacting the support team they set an appointment the next day and the technician said that he was unable to fix the issue as he wasn't trained to do so. I then gave another call in which they said they had to send a technician the next day from 12PM to 5PM. After doing so the next day at 5PM I have gotten no notices until 5. At 5 I got a text stating that the appointment had to be moved once again to the next day. I gave another call regarding the delay and they still were unable to send a technician until the next day. There has been a terrible communication and received a message last minute as I was waiting the entire day.

Dont do it!
January 24, 2023

Had a 2 yrs contract with bell for my cell phone and boy did i regret this choice.1st my contrqct stipulates 60$ for the phone plus 60$ for the service, seemed ok eo i signed after a while they started harassing me as soon as my bill came out calls txt etc 3 times a day.like im suposed to have at least 2 weeks to pay my bill but they keep harrasing.2nd,outta nowhere they started charging extra months in advance!bringing my bill to 180$ +tx,so when i caught covid last yrs and was out of work for 2 weeks by the time my next pay came in they cut my service for exceeding the 250$ 2 days before payday plus they charged 50$ extra to reactivate my phone plus lets not forget all the harrassment i went through during this time even if i told em many many times that my bill would be paid on payday.my advice,DONT DO IT LOOK FOR ANOTHER PROVIDER

STAY AWAY FROM BELL!
December 20, 2022

If I could give a 0-star review, I absolutely would. About 18 months ago, I stupidly left my old contract at another company so that I could get the Samsung Galaxy Flip 5G (which you should never get a Flip or Fold if you want a phone that actually works). Anyway, I switched and have regretted it since. Not even 6 months in having the new phone, the screen got a HUGE line in the middle (where the flip would be) that began totally swallowing the screen. Not even 2 weeks later did a bunch of dead pixels began to show up (I have 14 dead pixels on my screen now). I contacted Bell and they told me that I had to go through Samsung, which I thought made sense since it is their phone. So I contacted Samsung, and they told me that I would have to pay a $150 deposit, send the phone to Montreal and wait up to 3 weeks to have it repaired (which, in this day and age with work and personal stuff, I couldn't go 3 weeks without) so I decided against it. Then, my screen got worse, so I contacted Samsung and they said to go to Bell (so I did). I explained the 3 week thing without the phone and they sent a loaner phone (which was SO OLD that I couldn't back up ANYTHING from my current phone). I tried for two days, and couldn't do it. Fast forward to about 8 months ago, a GIANT black dot (almost like a burn) is on the screen and taking up a large portion of the screen. THEN, my phone stops receiving calls, texts and cannot function AT ALL. So I tried TWICE within the 8 months to be given a new phone or to have my device balance removed as I CANNOT use it. I was told that they could not do anything about the balance (which they can, they create the phone plans and can override) and that I could pay this or that to pay off the phone or try to repair it AGAIN. I have not received ANY help and they are just taking my money. Worst service imagineable. STAY AWAY FROM BELL!

Stay away from Bell Canada
So if I could do half a star I would. I swore I wasn't going to join Bell again but the offer was worth the try. Boy was I wrong. I joined them again on Sunday after 6 Bell free years. It starts with the internet. They brag about having the best internet around. Thats if they have agents or representatives that actually know what they are doing. I had a guy her for 5 and half hours. He did not have enough experience to complete the job. Now I am still waiting for the internet to be installed to my house. I never get an agent on the phone from Canada where I am from I get agents from the Philippines, and India, and most have broken english. I find it ridiculous that Bell a Canadian company can take advantage of other countries work laws and cheaper minimum wages. Yet want to over charge they're customer's while offering bare minimal service and education to they're employees.
They are crap and if anyone has idea of going with Bell DON'T. BELL (MOBILITY, INTERNET, AND TV) SUCKS. STAY AWAY

Not sure how this can be so complicated for Bell and their Fibe TV offering. Rogers has been doing all of these things I'm about to mention for years.

1. Record an entire season (ie. Record all Raptors games no matter what channel they are on or an entire tennis tournament).

2. The ability to extend the scheduled recording by 1 hour. What if the tennis match runs longer? Why is the max only 30 mins?

3. When recording TV series why is the recording settings restricted to a channel. Sometimes the series moves to different channels. Rogers gives you the option of "new episodes" on "any channel".

4. The Bell Fibe TV App has the season number and episode number displayed under the thumbnail, then why can this not be shown in the description or title line in the list of PVR recordings on the TV. Come on, not that complicated.

5. While talking about the PVR list, how about adding a "Continue Watching" category so we know wish shows we have started watching.

Would really like all of these PVR issues to be resolved. Mostly pretty straight forward database querying.

Wish Rogers was in my area. Feels like we have stepped back into the stone age without these few simple features that would be easy to implement.

Thieves of the highest order and crappiest internet service you would ever find. Their service are mediocre I have no clue why they charge so much.
I set up my internet and specifically asked that there be no contract. The useless agent confirmed there'd be no contract. Coming to find out she placed me on a 6 months contract and there's a penalty fee to cancel their mediocre service. I am so upset.

They sent me a offer for fiber internet in the mail and chose not to honour it. When I called about the offer, I was told it was expired by one agent, event hough I literally just brought it in from the mailbox. Another agent said it was a typo. Another agent said this offer wasn't for my area. And each time I called, I was bombarded with them forcing their other garbage services on me. One rep even hung up on me when I stopped his sales pitch and said I'm only interested in the internet at the moment. Just a trash company with trash customer service. Negative 5 stars is even too much for these scammers.

Another reason I will never ever allow Bell on my property. Have their Fibe wires sticking a couple of feet above the ground at the end of the driveway. First told 3-6 months to bury them. Then I said they were a tripping hazard, that they would be cut by my snow blower guy. Had a repair ticket for today between 8-5 pm. Called this morning at 7 am to confirm they were coming cause they have left me waiting all day in the past and not shown up. Only to discover the ticket had been deactivated. The staff person reactivated it. Called at 11 am to make sure they were coming. Talked to two people (2nd when I was hung up on by the first person) and told there was no ticket and suggested they open another one. Nope, not waiting all day ever again for them not to show up.

If i could give negative 5 i would. This company doesn't care about anyone or anything. They take advantage of everyone and their products don't work and when you try to address it they blame you. If you enjoy being used and abused and money thrown down the toilet then use at your own risk.

Wow they suck. Please go bankrupt and make room for better services. No FF on Crave - that's basic functionality you morons. The worst search functions. It's actually easier to grab content from Torrent sites than to use Crave which I'm actually paying for. Canada sucks for protecting horrible leech companies like Bell. Just let the Yanks in to compete and drive these crappy oligarchs bankrupt (Bell + Telus + Rogers).

AVOID MOBILITY SERVICE!
September 22, 2022

Worst experience ever! I have placed my new device order on 27th if August. They failed to deliver it and returned to their warehouse on 8th of September. The new order handling period has started on 14th of September. As of today (22th of September) I still didn't receive a Tracking number! The order has been placed when there was a sale. Apparently, they don't fulfill their orders when you buy them on a sale! Since 29th if August, I have been calling them almost everyday! Everyday, same b. Ll$#*!. "You will get a tracking number tomorrow" This is the last day of their guaranteed handling period. I am taking the case to the customer court tomorrow. I regret so much choosing Bell to get a mobility agreement. NEVER GET YOUR DEVICE FROM BELL!

If there was a 0 rating I would give that. Please get more knowledgeable reps. I was told 3 different things by 3 different people (in store, on chat and on call) and it's cost me $60 because no one seems to know what they are talking about. And my issue still isn't resolved. No one seems to have any record of the previous conversations, just say things you want to hear but don't bother to follow thru. 3 days ago on chat I was told I would be getting a call the next day but I never got a call. I called myself today and was told the request was never put in. I was promised a $15 discount on my plan but I ended up getting only a $5 discount. The solution offered by Eric was to change my plan to a less data plan and still not with the full discount I was promised. Said he had forwarded my request to the "back office " and I "may or may not get a response ". Some customer service. So basically I'm sorry we keep saying things but we can't do them. The way things are handled are a mess. I've been with bell for many years and loyalty definitely means way less to you guys then you pretend. No wonder people hate the customer service. Let's see if "the back office " bothers to call.

Bell customer service
August 31, 2022

To Whom it May Concern,

I went into the Bell store in Mayfair Mall in Victoria, BC today and I reported that I lost my phone. Customer service rep Brittaney helped me and in no time had located my phone on your device. It was in my apartment all along.
Thank-you Brittaney for your quick thinking, being so computer savvy, kind demeanour and for locating my phone!

Thank-you!

Susan Johnston

When I called to cancel a service, their disgusting cancellation dept tried to force me to keep the service plus tried to sell me more services that I said I do not use and kept aggressively pushing the services after I had said "No". Next time I will hang up on the obnoxious employee and call back to deal with someone else. This has left me with a worse experience that I now wish to terminate all my Bell services.

This once respected company has gotten carried away with their longstanding power and behave like dictators. The nerve of them to ask potential customers for identification, such as driver's licence, SIN, passport, residential history, dob, etc, as if we are all closet terrorists, yet they willingly take our money. It seems the policy makers at Bell suffer from paranoia or bigotry.

I do not care for their pure fibre, no one needs such fast speeds, people have other matters in life than to dawdle away time playing antisocial online games and becoming obese from sitting in front of computers. I hope all customers eventually desert Belch Canada.

They lie continuously over the phone to keep their abused clients. Eventually, you'll feel foplish, lied to, and used seeking anywhere but Bell to become your service provider. Ashames they're a Canadian company.
