Just paid $79 to bite squad for a $51 pizza. Seriously? Deleted my brand new bite squad account First/Last order most definitely. Saw the $4.99 fee, but scroll down. There's another $20 in fees that ranged from "other fees" to "tip/extortion" of $9.00 and we're done.
Just created the account and just deleted the account. Thanks, but if I wanted to pay another 50% on top of original order, I'd just give away half my paycheck on my own.
Placed an order with bite squad only for my order to take and excessive amount of time and arrive soggy as it was a sub. When trying to cancel before the driver gets to the store I was told I can't it's too late. When my order arrives I don't get everything I ordered. I'm offered bite squad credit and I refuse but my order can't be refunded. Out of all the inconvenience and poor service this company offers me $3.18 off of a $17.00 order…. This is ridiculous and not the first encounter with this service. I am owed my money back and this service could care less about their customers… I am unable to go get my own food, so I'm out of my money and part of my order…. But they made their money.
I always use Doordarsh and today I decided to use bite squad it was horrible, I placed my order my wait time was 30 to 40min. I waited 1 hour before contacting customer support their answers were the restaurant is too busy and they don't have the chicken you order, if you give us 30 more minutes we'll bring your order. I actually live 5 minutes away from the restaurant I place the order I go there almost every weekend it's always empty and fast service through drivetru today it was rainy and didn't feel like driving. At custome support they offered me bite squad credit for my order or to wait 5 days to receive my money back in my bank account. I'll rather wait 10 days for my money and never again use bite squad again. After waiting and hour I ended up going to the restaurant to get the food myself I was back home in 20 minutes. Bite squad is literally useless.
They constantly keep canceling my orders. Go with DoorDash or Grubhub, at least they don't do so much canceling like Bitesquad does.
I just had a death in the family of a close relative, on the same day that my wife had a biopsy to determine the type of cancer she had. Needless to say my house was full and we didn't feel like cooking. Ordered from several delivery services, including bite squad. All other services delivered what we wanted and it was hot. We only got a few items from bite-squad, it wasn't what we ordered, it was ice cold and it was missing several items. After the hassle of submitting a complaint, then finally being contacted by a rep, I had to explain everything! Then they wanted me to take pictures of everything! I'm in the middle of a family crises, and they want me to jump hurdles to prove it! The driver brought one bag with 2 very small boxes on a $70 ticket with a $10 dollar tip! How did he not know or check! Don't ever use this service! I know I won't again!
I have ordered so many times with bite squad and it is always an issue. The food takes anywhere from 1.5-2 hours to arrive if it even arrives. Sometimes it shows delivered and nothing was delivered. I have given them so many chances. The customer service is of no help. Uber eats and DoorDash are so much better all around. Don't waste your time ordering through Bite Squad.
Bitesquad and their account partner Delivery Logisitics is a poor service all around. Most directly effecting every step from restaurant to customer to driver, this app regularly fails. Resulting in restaurants not getting or making an order, the driver being thrown off schedule with long wait times, and customer getting their delivery very late or not at all. As well, Bitesquad works in tandem with Waitr, and the driver support applies only to Waitr so bitesquad drivers have very little support.
Finally, Delivery Logistics and Bitesquad withhold earnings arbitrarily. The pattern appears to be when a driver earns more than the disrespectful $5 per day they expect, Delivery Logisitics wont pay out entirely. Obviously, this also effects the quality of the courier service, outside of exploiting their drivers's desperation and frauding them.

Being hung up on in a chat because the person can't deal with a legitimate complaint or legitimate criticism?
If Bite Squad has been charging customers for cancelled / undelivered food orders and expecting them to wait 3-5 days for a "refund" during a pandemic, they are engaging in poor business practices. If you have been charged for cancelled orders / undelivered food orders, you might consider the possibility of a class action lawsuit. Bite Squad has indicated that it is their current practice to charge methods of payment on file before food orders are confirmed. Attorneys general in several states where the company operates will be interested in the impact on consumers.

After getting our food minus a major part, I reached out the Bites quad. They said they would put a credit on our account. That ultimately forces me to pay more later to get sub par service. So I made what I thought was a reasonable request. I'd like either the missing parts of our meal or a refund to save me from being forced to deal with this again. They said they couldn't do either and ENDED THE CHAT. The equivalent of hanging up on me. Not like them loosing my future business will kill the company but they sure as hell lost a customer. You're all ready paying out the tush for the convenience of someone else bringing you the food. The least they could do is make it right when they mess it up.
Also, please don't think I am leaving because of this singular incident. We have given BiteSquad MULTIPLE chances and repeated benefits of the doubt. They are trash and inconsiderate.

I ordered the food a little after 3pm. After 3 attempts the food arrives 2hrs late. Nothing but lies about the driver being there and verifying the food. They closed the chat when I asked for the 5th time why my order was late. They kept saying they didn't have a driver available 1.5 hours later and two other agents telling me the driver was already there. They don't have a customer service number and only use email for customer service and they call that 'highest level of customer service'. If your customer service mean blatantly lying then I will no longer be a customer.
I ordered at around 8:30 pm food showed up at around 10:30 pm not terrible except the food was wrong and super cold... after a little investigation, my food was picked up at 6:30 pm (confirmed by the restaurant and receipt)... how is this possible? I hadn't even ordered yet. It turns out the receipt was a door dash order that he picked up at 6:30... so the driver drops off 4 hour old food that made me sick and bitesquad thinks 5 dollars will make me go away. I GOT SICK FROM YOUR ERROR AND 5 WHOLE DOLLARS IS YOUR SOLUTION.
I ordered a pizza and wings that said delivered but never was. I tried to contact support for day but it just froze me out. When I finally contacted support on the website demanding a refund, the person on the other line said I needed to complain within 24 hours of the delivery. Even though it was their app which was not allowing me to do do. Their support just ended the chat with me multiple times because I said that's unacceptable and I want a refund. Bite Squad are thieves. They took my money, did not give me my order, and ignored my complaint. Ridiculous service, do not use Bite Squad
I've had 2 orders that were messed up in the past 2 days. The current order was $75 and 50% of the order was missing. I personally contacted the restaurant for the bitesquad customer service representative and got the phone number for contacting them. The bitesquad customer service representative would not contact the restaurant in order to have this issue fixed. Instead I was refunded $25 on an order that was $75. Do not use bitesquad.
I am just AMAZED by the customer service of this company. The delivery was ok but I was not happy with the food from the restaurant and they refunded my money! No questions asked! I have ordered through all the delivery services. Door Dash was 2 hours late on an order and gave me a $5 credit. They were total jerks! I will never order from another delivery service again! I am sticking with BITE SQUAD! They are Awesome!
Bitesquad is by far the biggest scam I have ever come across. I ordered from here once and drove for less than a month. Ever since, I have been charged $10 EVERY MONTH for eight months now. I have TRIED AND TRIED to email support, get on their live chat, email the local bitesquad address regarding these charges and hoping to cancel my account and I never once got a response the several DOZEN times I tried to reach out. That is, besides once, I acted like a new driver and just stated that I had some questions about driving. That was the ONE time I got a response up until my mother started reaching out and then they got real "helpful." They claimed I was signed up for the bitesquad unlimited, however, I never signed up for it and it also did not show so on my account. The guy reaching out to me even said something "shady" could be going on in my area, however it is evidently clear that this entire company is shady. They refuse to refund me the $80 they have stolen and clearly want to drain me dry. The guy even said they canceled this "unlimited membership" that I never signed up for and still proceeded to charge me yet again a week or two later. Do NOT make the same mistake I did driving for this company or putting money in their pockets. This is the biggest scam I have ever encountered and there is no doubt they are doing the same thing to hundreds if not thousands of other people.
We ordered on Sunday and I watched the driver in the tracker. Wasn't going anywhere near my place. I text and called the driver no response. At least 5 miles away and it shows delivered. Support tried calling him and no response. All they did was refund. That driver got my food and tip?!? Refund or not this is horrible and illegal
I used Bite Squad for the very first time because a friend gave me a gift certificate. I ordered MOTHER'S DAY dinner and DID receive a confirmation of the order. I didn't receive any further emails. On Mother's Day, at the time we were supposed to receive delivery, I clicked on Track and saw that the order was CANCELLED! So, here we were, expecting a nice dinner and... NOTHING! What a happy Mother's Day for the 3 mothers at our dinner! Very disappointed and if it weren't for the gift certificate that I STILL have to use because I am NOT going to let them have that money for nothing, I would never order them again! They need to let us know as soon as they cancel an order so we can make other arrangements! I have been telling everyone, today, what happened and not to use this service with the outrageous hidden service fees! They have more hidden fees than my cell phone bill! EXTREMELY unhappy customer!
Absolutely horrible. Ordered food at 6 pm. Nothing until 9 pm. Then got an email that wrong driver picked up the food and delivered to wrong people. Then they said they are remaking the food and will deliver it. By 10 on they said mr order is canceled. Their driver is unresponsive and they hope that I have a great day ….
Order $37 worth of food and total ends up being 63 dollars, 20 of which are fees that don't go to that driver.
So to recap, its a company that screws it customers, restaurants, and its drivers. Don't use.
We ordered 130.00 worth of food and by the time you added all of your fees it came to $192.00. You are the biggest rip-off ever. Doordash should be everyones choice from now one. Ridiculous. Please everyone find another delivery service and check out their fees. Ours came with a mandatory tip, booking fee (what ever the hell that is) and a service charge. I just am stunned.
