As reported by others, phone I received came in open box, with packaging clearly tampered with. Phone back was scratched, and rubber-hinged cover over micro-usb port was absent on the phone. Clearly, NOT new. George, a company rep with whom I spoke, attempted to explain this all away by saying each phone is opened and connected to their computer to "unlock". I'm willing to accept this might account for the packaging, but not the scratches or damage to usb cover.
Also, delivery was s. L. o. W. Paid for 2nd day delivery, received phone in 9 days. Melvin, another company rep I spoke to on this issue said shipping charges would be refunded. After 10 days, another call and rep said shipping charges HAD been refunded. However, no sign of credit yet applied to my credit card account.
Company delivered used phone, took inordinately long to do so, and has repeatedly employed deceit if not outright lies when I've contacted them seeking resolution to my concerns.
As for the phone, even despite being used, it is so far meeting my needs. It's been less than a month, though, and if I pay for what is advertised as a NEW phone, I expect a NEW phone. And I definitely do not appreciate being lied to. My advice? Pay a little more and shop elsewhere.
WORST COMPANY EVER! I waited 17 days for my phone to come and it turned out to be the wrong phone for the wrong carrier. After THEIR huge mistake they made me pay to send it back and I have been waiting for my replacement for 13 days now. I ordered my phone on June 2 and it is now July 15... What a joke.
Phone was as advertise shipping took longer then expected i paid for ground shipping its should not take 5 days to arrive but customer service was very helpful and i am very happy with the phone i received. I requested shipping refund if it will come thru i will update my review
I wish I would have read these reviews before I purchased. Phones ARE OLD AND DIRTY not new like they falsely advertise. Not sure what to do now as it seems form other reviews here that they will charge a restocking fee to return
Advertised as new but actually sending used phone, missing manual, having calling history before my order date. Return will charge shipping and 15% re-instocking fee. Do whatever to avoid!
"This is a one man operation also known as electronics force. Melvin ( his name this week) sits at his computer and pulls strings. Spends half his time writing 5 star reviews to skew his overall rating on review sites. I ordered a phone and paid for expedited shipping. Called him after not receiving it. Gave me bogus tracking number. Called back. Said that he had shipped usps by mistake but would credit shipping charges to my card. Never happened. 19 days later it shows up at my billing address in another state.
Phone arrived in what appeared to be new packaging; missing the promised usb cable and headset. Turned out to be a used phone. They didn't even bother to clear the memory completely. It still had previous owners info. The guy at metro pointed out that there was dirt between the keys. Quite embarrassing.
Do NOT NOT NOT even think about about ordering a phone from cell2get. They are awful. I ordered a new phone and they sent me a used (has dings on side) phone that was a model down. I spent extra money for 2 day delivery and got it 7 days later. I would never have bought from them had I read the Better Business Bureau reviews. A costly lesson learned. You are better off getting a phone on e-bay - they at least have a policy to deal with unscrupulous people. Stay away!
Sell refurbished phones but tell you they are brand new. Return? No problem. But, 25%--45% restock-fee plus all the mail fee. Do not believe? No problem. Just submit an order and you will know what I mean.
They present themselves as professional company, but it appears there is just one guy there who may or may not answer the phone. MANY BBB complaints and shocking reviews! My phone came open box, no cords, manual, software, headphones... nothing you would expect on a 'new' purchase accept the charger. It seemed the firmware was not correct for the country it was made in, so it had to go back. Cell2Get sent it "back to Nokia" but it was nokia in CHINA! Somonths passed before it was finally returned. Emails and phone calls went unanswered. When I did reach them they repeatedly lied about where the ohone was and when it was being returned. The whole thing was VERY unprofessional, and everyone needs to be aware and check the other reviews around the web. They are BAD.
On January 15th I placed the order with Cell2get paid for 2 day shipping. Expected the package on Thursday. On Thursday I called the company asking where the items were. I was told it shipped Wednesday and should receive it Friday. I asked for the tracking information and was told it would be emailed to me. Friday on cell phone, called only to hear the package will arrive Monday January 21. Thursday they gave me a tracking number but could not find any information about the package. So I emailed the company to complain, they emailed me back a tracking number. Tried tracking the package and no information wa avavilable per USPS. Since January 21st was a holiday I could not reach anyone. January 22nd, I called them back the guy being pompus say stay on the line and he will track it. He tells me he sees its out for delivery. So he asks me to track it while on the phone to my surprise the tracking information shows up. Also it states when the USPS receive the infoprmation to ship. It was received by the USPS on Saturday January 26th. Not on the date given to me by the company. They were not being truthful, I hope the phones work and are new like stated on the site. They cannot be trusted far as I am concerned. I will update further on the quality of the phones. I paid for two day service but like they said its two days from when they decied to ship not 2 days from when I placed the order. Twisiting of words, sad they stoop so low. My money is valuable is my services are not. This is not good business practice.
Same as everyone else. Arrived late, sent unopened for a refund, they only refunded 70% of what I paid and called the rest restocking charges. Terrible reviews, wish I'd seen them before!
Worst online purchase I have ever had --Frauds all the way they lied about product they lied about shipping location claimed all NEW in original package it was bogus took forever to arrive after paying for 2nd day air service stay away and never use them
"Cell2Get, which now tries to undercover themselves as ElectronicsForce.com, is the worst place you can buy a new phone. First of all, the advertise the phone with a special price, as if it is new, but it is NOT new at all. Mine came with scratches and after market parts. I bought 2 phones, about a month ago. Just received the first one and I am still waiting on the second. Every time you call them they say that you will receive your phone on the next day. Liars! You can get the same used phone 10 times cheaper at Ebay much faster. DONT EVER USE CELL2GET."
Please, and I say it again "PLEASE" do not make business with this company (they don't even deserve being called a company)
Their products are not new at all, they probably get them refurbished from China and re-sell them to customers en the US, that don't know about this fakers.
Dont even think of returning a phone. They will charge an unbelievable restocking fee. Even if the phone was never opened. I am still out 164.00, they said I will get about 98.00 of it back. I still do not have the credit after 7 days! Thieves! Dont ever shop there.
They are putting fraudulent charges on my bank card -- BOA is investigating them--- luckily BOA has software that detects fraudlent charges and only 1 went thru which they are taking care of. But they tried 6 times, $200 each time, to put charges thru to my card. I have never used them and advise people to STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
Boston
Fraud! Took them almost 3 months to ship me a Nokia phone. I complained various times and was given phony tracking numbers. Once the phone arrived, I shipped it back as I had long bought a different phone. Cell2get charged me an entirely arbitrary restocking fee of almost 30%. STAY CLEAR!
Not sure yet how I feel about this company. I received my cell in the wrong packaging with the wrong instruction manual and the screen had a small scratch. I called the company and left a message for them to call me back which they did a few hours later. I spoke with Melvin who was very apologetic. And he assured me that the phone was new but when they unlocked the phones they have to take them out of the package and my phone must have mistakenly been put into the wrong box. I am willing to overlook the scratch (it's very small) and Melvin assured me that they are going to send me the correct manual. Upon receiving the correct manual I will update this review. Also, I think it's important to note that I was given the option to return the phone but chose to keep it because it is a gift for my wife and I don't have time to send it back before her birthday. So all in all not the best online buying experience but as long as they make it right it isn't the worst by far especially considering the price! Still on the fence as to whether I would recommend them to a friend. But after speaking to Melvin I do feel a lot better about the whole situation.
Order#******* placed on march 14th in the amount of $156.39. After an unacceptable amount of time passing awaiting the arrival of the phone I called Melvin on April 11,2011 and asked for a refund, I was told - no problems we'll refund our money. Amazingly enough the phone was shipped the next day (4/12/11). When I called Melvin to ask about the status of the refund he told me to wait until the next day and then call back. In hind sight I realize that he knew it was shipped out but didn't tell me. I also realize that this was done so that Cell2Get would receive their 15% restocking fee. So I feel I was lied to every step of the way. Incidentally, no one answers the phone before 3:30pm (maybe that's when Melvin starts working... I don't know). That in and of itself was frustrating. Back to the phone - the phone was USED and Damaged. The camera and video function didn't work and it had a crack on the front of the phone. So besides being lied to, not able to get a hold of anyone before 3:30 in the afternoon, waiting a month for a phone, asking for a refund and having the phone shipped out the next day, receiving a damaged phone, paying for the shipping that phone back to them, they expect to keep the 15% restocking fee? NOW, that's not all. To my surprise I found out that they credited back only 97.31 which is 37% of 156.39.
I complained to BBB but they can't do nothing, they said that Ican sue them if I want...
NEVER EVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM CELL2GET.COM!
I ordered a "new" HTC pure device and realized that the device has been out of warranty for more than a year. "New" doesn't mean it comes with manufacturers warranty like they claim on their website.

Answer: CDMA and GSM networks are two types of cellular phone networks and generally if you have a device made for one, it can't be used on the other. In the US, Sprint®* and Verizon run on CDMA networks while AT&T and T-Mobile run on GSM networks. Ting runs on both
