I had just lifted my truck and wanted a more aggressive look. Told the salesman what look I was going for and he suggested a list of wheels. I ordered them hoping to be least bigger than stock like I wanted but they came smaller than stock. I put them on and they were completely opposite from what I asked for. After contacting customer support about the situation I was informed that I can't return them due to me putting them on my truck. Now I'm stuck with small wheels/tires than can probably fit my moms Honda civic.
I waited 2 weeks for any updates and got nothing. I then called in and come to find out the wheels hadn't even started to be drilled yet when they were supposed to be delivered that day! Another two weeks goes buy and I finally get the wheels in. They did not come with any valve stems, which the instructions state that they do, and none of the beadlock bolts fit. I reached out for help and never got anything back. Left to go get my own beadlock bolts and valve stems. Will never do business with custom offsets again!
Given a quote at mrwheeldeal so I was ok with that and ordered the rims salesman redirected me to custom offsets, did not know it was the same company either way did not get the price I was quoted in the end I payed 400.00 dollars more than I was quoted, yes I called and nobody new nothing or could help me sent them my original quote in a selfie I took of it still nothing my quote was right in there face to see, not happy and will put it on my Google review
Bill - We're very sorry for any inconvenience as it sounds like there was possibly a listing error or some misunderstanding with our team. We're always happy to price match and considering that this was with a sister company, we're pretty surprised there was an issue. Give us a ring at (920) 221-0110 and we'll be happy to discuss further. Thank you.
Bought wheels and salesman called and upsold tires and tpms. Only to have the wheels ship with no tires and tpms and not mounted and balanced. Had to buy tires locally. Have multiple trucks and cans that I was going to outfit with custom offsets but not now.
Jon - Could you please contact us with a bit more information? This sounds as though there was an issue with your order going through prior to the tires being added. This can happen if the response to our call was a bit late but it does sound like there is a bit more at play. Please reach out to us at sales@customoffsets.com with the subject line "ATTN Customer Service Manager" or give our team a call at (920) 221-0110. Thank you.
I ordered a full set of wheels and tires from Comstom Offsets they used a logistics company called XPO Logistics is located at ******* McLean Rd, Mount Vernon, WA *******, which is about 30 min away from my house. I've been going back and fourth with both XPO logistics as well as Custom Offsets concerning my order *******, tracking number *******, for over a week and cannot gain a day of delivery? I either want my order undamaged and delivered or I want a full refund. Buyer Beware, I will never due business with Custom Offsets again due to their horrible customer service, they are the ones that should be fighting for me their customer to assure that I recive my order undamaged and on time and they are not. Furthermore I'd never recommend them to anyone ever... The above is copy of Wisconsin State BBB filed against Custom Offsets. I also reported Custom Offsets to my Credit Card company as a making a fraudulent transaction. Come to find out Custom Offsets used a logistics company that dosent even deliver to my address. How incompetent is that of Custom Offsets?
Charles - Apologies in our delay in a response but we do show that this had been posted across other platforms and that our team had already been in touch on this matter. When it comes to the matter of shipping, this was a delay directly related to the carrier, which while we recognize can be inconvenient, is something that can occur from time to time. It was confirmed that the order was received with no issues and while we attempted to work towards a resolution but ultimately, were met with the refusal to do so. We again apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you.
Kind of petty. But I spent a lot of money with custom offsets and I didn't receive a sticker for my truck. Besides that experience was great. Would order from them again. If they put a sticker in the box 😂
Glenn - Great to hear everything about your order outside of the stickers was good to go! We've got some coming your way so keep an eye out for them! Thanks!
Viewers please read I went on custom offset website typed in my car. I needed rims and tires for purchase the set up that they require. I guess the tires a month later they will fit my truck huge so I call of course nobody answers leave a voicemail. Finally someone calls me back they said it's my fault I ordered those tires and I can return them and get the right size. I told them it was on their website but they said I could buy anything I want I understand that but I'm not a mechanic so I typed in the car I'm looking for tires and rims for, I made a slice in the packing to check out the rims I like them they gave me a shipping label. I shipped them back to get the right size and even swap. If not, they owe me money cause I'm trading a truck tire for a car tire no I owe them $700. I don't know where this came from besides a $200 restocking fee OK the other $495 I don't even know what it's for and they don't either as I emailed 5000 emails later to find out what it's for and they don't know, so I gotta make an even swap. You guys messed up the size in the first place so there is no even swap even if I went with the cheapest tires I still owe money when the tires I bought $1000. The cheapest ones are 600 but I still owe money, has that make sense they're saying I owe $135 and I bought the $#*!tiest tires they got but guess what I'm something else for my set up I need hub spacers good thing you didn't send it again with the wrong $#*!. This company is a con artist. I recommend anyone that to go through somebody else local. This is my second order through them. My first order one year two days later I found my rims were corroding in my storage unit in the winter because I took them off for the winter guess what one year warranty not covered two days after my warranty over is when I found them all corroded to $#*! junk don't go through them. Tell him to pick up the phone to it's 2024. You don't have to email everything pick up the damn phone.
Jason - Obviously some misunderstanding here as we allow customers to make buying decisions based on their own fitment knowledge. In our FAQs it is very clearly stated that fitment is the responsibility of the customer and if a customer should ever not be knowledgeable about fitment, we ask that they reach out prior to ordering so we can assist in fitment. This, however, we not the case as we were not contacted prior to the order, hence the restocking fees being issued as this fee includes the cost of return shipping, restocking fees with the vendor, and labor fees to dismount product. Our customer service team also works on a callback basis hence the need to leave a voicemail. Please reach out to our team with further questions on this matter. Thank you.
Awesome CS Team and user friendly website. Keep up the great work team. I would definitely recommend this company.
Thanks for working with us Billy!
I place my order and the very next day was shipped, my experience was the best it even arrived 3 days earlier then expected delivery day I was so happy I was able to receive them before my birthday wheels were perfect mounted and balanced no scratches or anything they did and awesome job
Thanks for your support, Yuniel!
I went back and forth through 100+ emails with a representative about a problem, after all that, a new representative took over and started asking me all the same questions and tried to make me do everything all over again. And they still never fixed my problem. Stay away from this company. Shop local.
Jeffery - We apologize for any inconvenience. Please reach out to our management team at sales@customoffsets.com with the subject line "ATTN Customer Service Manager" so that we can assist on this matter. Thank you.
Big disappointment. Been waiting for 2 weeks. Still nothing. I contact custom offsets. No reply..
Rob - There seems to be a bit of misunderstanding regarding our timelines as we have always informed customers that our wheel/tire package delivery timeline is 14-21 business days. This includes shipping time coupled with the time needed to mount/balance/package an order. Please reach out to us at sales@customoffsets.com with any questions. Thank you.
Andrew saw I was looking at multiple sets off wheels and tires, took the time to call me and helped me out by picking, and helping speed the process up to get them mounted/balanced and shipped to me faster. Would recommend him to anyone! I'll also use him on my next purchase
Thanks for your support!
If you buy a set of rims make sure you make sure they are the right size rim just don't think they got it right even if it is the rim you ordered make sure size to correct it was six months after I ordered them that I found out that they were wrong size and they said they couldn't do nothing about it so double check
Tim - We apologize for any inconvenience as we do ask that all customers inspect all products before installation. Feel free to reach back out ot our team with any questions about this matter. Thank you.
Never Again! Once they have your payment method and you get the sorry we are out of stock email all phone calls and emails will go unanswered. Customer service will pull a cease and desist. If you have questions, don't bother calling, it is as if they have caller ID and if your payment has cleared they cant be bothered talking to you. You will get the voice message that they will get back to you before the end of the day. Don't hold your breath waiting for that call. If I can save just one person from this BS company than this post was worth it.
I ordered new cail wheels from this place and when I receive them two wheels were damaged. So that same day I called and did everything they asked me to do and sent it to them that day. It's been two months and I still do not have the wheels that I paid for. They've had the damage Wheels for 2 1/2 weeks now and they said they had to inspect them. If they would've done that in the first place, I would not be in the situation. If you can buy wheels elsewhere, you should. I haven't had a vehicle two months and they don't care. This place is a joke
Caleb - we apologize that you received wheels with any kind of damage, and for any lack of follow up on our part. There are circumstances out of our control (such as the product in question being available) however, it also takes our returns team time to physically inspect those wheels once received. The damage in question is relatively minimal, and if the wheels shipped from one of our distributors, we may have not had a chance to physically inspect those wheels before they were shipped to you. Please reach out to our customer service team should you need any further assistance on this. Thanks!
Had a negative experience but they are making things right. They are bending o er backwards to fix my experience
Josh - thank you for your feedback!
In early August 2023 I ordered four rims and a few rim related accessories for a 2016 Yukon. Prior to ordering the estimated arrival date was August 14th it was within 2 weeks it seemed fair. I placed the order and as soon as I did the confirmation e-mail changed to August 22nd which that information would have changed my decision on my order but things happen. August 27th 3 rims arrive in great condition, on August 30th the 4th rim arrived extremely damaged. I did not accept the shipment and the currier service returned the order. I made contact with Custom offsets and explained the situation and they basically told me since I didn't accept the shipment they will not send me a new rim until the damaged rim arrives and they agree it's below their standards however they said if I would have accepted the damaged rim the process return/replacement process would somehow be faster that does not make any sense. They tried to upscale me by phone multiple times but trying to get them to provide the product they promised has been exhausting. This will be the last time I use Custom Offsets and I will not recommend them.
Garrett - we understand your frustration and apologize you received a wheel with damage. The reason we recommend receiving the wheel, even with damage, is because it allows us to assess the damage in a quicker manner, which leads to a quicker turnaround on getting that resolved, and likely replacement product in your hands in a quicker manner as well. Regardless, we're happy to help however we can so if you still need assistance on this, please reach back out to our customer service team. Thank you!
Joan, Alyssa, and the team at Custom Offsets have been nothing but amazing.
I changed my order twice, each time I called and spoke to either Joan or Alyssa I got a positive attitude. Thank you for representing your cooperative well, and professional. Five star business, that I will continue to support.
Thanks for the feedback, Logan!
I have waited a long time now for these wheels. Came damaged, ceramic was still wet, 46 ounces of wheel weights on one rim. Customer service reached out and several days later, they still have no resolution. It's pretty simple. You sent me used wheels, with wet ceramic coating, and 46 wheel weights. Replace them. Simple as that right? Wrong. Awful customer service, no one responds within any reasonable amount of time. Check out these pictures. Next time you go to spend a load of money, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. No one has been of any help. If they make it right, I'll take all of my posts down. Until that day, I'll keep them going. I have nothing but time.
Scott - we appreciate your patience with this manner, and apologize again that you had any issues with your order at all. Since this posting this appears to have been resolved, so if you need anything else, please reach back out! Thank you.
This is a buyer-beware post. If you don't care about customer support or warranty support, then don't both reading, but if you do feel this is important, then buyer beware.
I purchased a set of rims for my SUV. I went to my local shop and had a fitment done and found I need to get rings for my rotors so I would not have vibration once they were installed. My shop installed the rims and immediately, I noticed the front vibrating at about 55 mph and above and could feel it severely in the steering wheel. I was concerned and brought it back to my shop. They rebalanced my tires and the issue persisted. My personal mechanic said that the vibration was indicative of the wheels, so that is why I had my other shop rebalance the tires. I had another shop rebalance and the issue persisted. We began the troubleshooting and the original shop moved the front tires to the back - crossing them and the backs to the front. The vibration moved from the steering wheel to the front seats. My guys said that this was definitely a rim issue. The tires were original factory tires and did not have a vibration on the original rims. I proceeded to have an alignment done and the results of alignment were negligible. My guys checked and rechecked my car and all parties said it was the rims. I provided all possible info to Custom Offsets -pics and shop reports...and Custom Offsets wants more. I've spent more than $200 to do rebalancing, alignments, etc. They do not support the customer, nor do they fight for their customers in such a ridiculous instance that should be a no-brainer to fix.
Do not be fooled - they will tell you they are just the middleman, but you are the customer and they should be supporting you not the manufacturer.
Emma - while we understand your frustration, there is more context to what may have been the issue then relayed. Whether it was a balance issue with the wheels or tires, both would be indicative of a warranty related defect, and in a situation like that, we're obligated to work with the manufacturer of the product in question. That in turn means that what the manufacturer asks for in order to submit a warranty claim, we need to provide to them in order to get you replacement product. From what you're referencing, it is more likely there was a manufacturer related issue with the tires and not the wheels, however, if you still need assistance on getting this resolved, please reach back out to our customer service team and we'll help as we can.
Answer: Not very easy and when you finally get through, is like no one knows wtf they're doing. It's sad and pathetic.
Logan - We're very sorry to hear about any issue as this certainly isn't intended. The lapse in communication seems very odd as we prioritize our customers and the resolution of any issues. We'd highly recommend double checking your spam inbox as our emails can, at times, be sent there. We'd love to take a look into this so we also recommend giving our team a call at (920)221-0110. Thank you.
