Bought 2 Tourmaster armored riding jackets, a "Highlander", and an "ADV Lite Waterproof". Love them both. Fit very well (and I'm 6'5" 220 lbs). Both priced very fairly (bought them during a Black Friday sale)--$320 for the Highlander, $170 for the ADV Lite WP. Haven't ridden in them yet, but will once the riding season starts back up again. The only issue I had was the ADV Lite WP jacket elbow pad pockets are sewn into the sleeves WAY TOO HIGH up the sleeves. Too much of the armored pad is ABOVE my elbow vs. BELOW my elbow, where it belongs. NOT a Cycle Gear issue. A TOURMASTER issue. Gonna try to move it (by wither moving the armor pocket or sewing a new one in. If I didn't love this jacket as much as I do, I would have just returned the jacket. But this jacket is lightweight, waterproof, full of zippered vents (including the zip-off sleeve zippers--can be partially opened up a bit to get some air on my shoulders when needed). I also like the covered open vents on the backs of both jackets. Don't have to stop riding to zip up the (exposed) exhaust vents (how most jackets are designed, with vents on the back of most jackets) when it starts raining.
Quick and easy on line ordering experience
I went to the local Cycle Gear to shop for my first modular helmet, looked at many before finding one that fit. I ended up ordering it online so I could use my PayPal account.Looked at so many I ended up ordering the wrong size. So I ended up going to the store and exchanging it for the next size up to fit my big fat head. The staff at the store were wonderfull and more then helpful.
I had a little bit of an issue trying to get a discount offered for signing up but I had the help of a real.live person who walked me right through it courteously and timely
Very difficult to order. Many attempts to get an order confirmation due to "billing details not matching." Adjusted details multiple times and finally got a confirmation only to get a notice later in the day that the order failed. I asked why and nobody could help or explain why the order didn't go through. I gave up.

The listing on the website said the Stacyc e16 was without a battery. I'm missing the entire side panel assembly and all hardware. I've gone to another online retailer to order the missing parts and hardware since Christmas is so close.

There's a wide variety of gear (mostly for men but that's the industry not the business's shortcoming). They have great sales and the membership has already paid for itself. Returns are quick and convenient. And I like the tutorial videos, although, sometimes the video doesn't match the item. But that's no biggie. Content creation and management is a beast. I used to be a producer so I get there can be incorrect sometimes.
Wanted to get a summer mesh jacket for winter SoCal lol. Really liked the RevIt mesh Eclipse 2 but needed the Blue in XL. Always easy to order on the website and it automatically (!) applied my old RPM credits so lowered my price almost $40.
The jacket and size and looks are perfect. Super happy for another 5 years ha. Team also super friendly and helpful as always!
Overall, ordering on the site is pretty easy, and I had some good prices over Black Friday a d Cyber Monday. I had a little trouble le trying to figure out all of the discounts and didn't get one of the discounts. Cycle Gear helped me out, though; I was hoping to get a promotion item and ended up calling the RPM customer Service, and they helped me get it. Good work, Cycle Gear.
The order process online was very easy. Notification emails of my order was well communicated. Delivery turnaround was quick. Very pleased.
I've got USPS notification as well as cycle gear email saying that my order is delivered to the mailbox. It was not there, 3 days later it showed on my porch. Was it delivered to my neighbor and it put it under my door?
Ordered a new helmet that was on sale from Cycle gear, had it delivered to my local store. Tried it on while at the store fit perfect. Clerk at the store was super helpful and very quick getting it from the back.
My GF wanted a new and better helmet then what she had. I got her the Small and it fits well, has a clear and smoked Shield, Drop Down sun shades and very easy to mount a Cardo Pack Talk Edge to. She hasn't had an opportunity to ride with it yet since any time she's off it rains.

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
