I bought pants there and in a half yr the pockets were coming loose at the threads, so i sent them in for the manufacturing defect. They disposed of the pants and wont refund/exchange/ or return my pants. Waste of money!
Update: Finally received my products and they're great, but I stand behind the fact that their customer service is as rude as I've dealt with and not willing to help.
I'd love to review the product, but I never received it. Customer service online is just rude and unprofessional, while giving you the same tired runaround, like they're just copying and pasting what they're supposed to say. Had a rep (shout out to Kim!) use caps lock to explain something to me like I'm a dog or a child. They're just not willing to help and their "No BS" policy must stand for no buyer satisfaction. Wish I would've read reviews before making any purchase there. 1st and last one on my end.
We have been a long term customer for several years with never any complaints. We loved this company and its products. Recently we contacted them to correct the tax rate they charged. All these years they were computing the tax as if we lived in the city limits. When we discovered the mistake, we sent them information to correct their information on our location. Rather than correct a $2.00 overcharge for the order just made, they said they had to do it this way, but would correct the information so it wouldn't happen next time. Since this was a principled disagreement, and they would not change the tax charged, we asked that the order be cancelled. In response they said, since the item had already shipped, we could return it, but that we would be charged a $7.99 restocking fee. You would think their customer service personnel would be more adept at keeping otherwise satisfied customers happy, especially over something as minor as a $2.00 disagreement. Instead they seemed to go out of their way to say they didn't really care that much to keep their loyal customers happy. Oh well, live and learn. We will take our business elsewhere. Pat H.
Bought clothes because of supposed good, American, quality clothes. MADE IN CHINA! Pants shrunk way to much. Im a 6'3" 205" American. They shrunk to a size that would only fit a tiny, slave child, from china that made the pants. To bad you cant give 0 stars
Go to Duluth's website and see if you can put a "clearance" item in your cart. It will show up as the full price because the website deceivingly makes you think that the item colors are "clearance" colors and on sale. Um, how misleading is this
I can't shop there because their smallest clothes are huge on me. I'm 5'10" 145 lbs. I have a 30" waist, they start at 34". I wear a medium shirt most places, their medium fits me like an XL.
Very high quality durable products. Almost every shirt I wear is from them. Have never worn through any thing after many years of constant wearing.
I give credit where it is due. I bought my first pair of Duluth performance long underwear in 2015. I thought at the time they were a little pricey for underwear at $19.99 on sale. I tried everything to find that summer comfort. Other brands wore out in a couple years and didn't fit well. I needed some thing to help with the summer rash in the neatherland. I have worn these at least once a week for the past five years. Over 250 days of rubbing, bending, stretching and I finally got my first sign of wear. Reading the Warrenty it seems they are covered for a replacement pair. I cannot bring myself to file a claim. I now have 6 pair and no more summer rash. They are by far the most comfortable underwear ever. I'm 6'1 280lb and I will not wear anything but Duluth.
This store is an embarrassment. Their customer service is garbage and they try to steal returns from customers. The manager was rude and would rather argue with customer than care. This is hands down the worst customer service experience I've had in a clothing store. I've always been a fan of Duluth Trading and would spend a few hundred dollars a year on them. This store has made me a raving detractor for their business. Oh and I had to go back because their jeans zippers fall down.
I used to work for a Duluth Trading Retail store. It's one of the worst experiences on the planet. Customers are entitled and they don't read any of the signage in the store. There is a clear checkout line but they insisted on just walking up to any old counter. The managers were too busy feuding amongst themselves to get any work done. The clothing is overpriced. While we did inventory the actual cost to make $30 underwear was like $2.50. Ripoff. Also, customers, do not go into that store to pick up your online order if you did not get an email saying it's ready. Regardless of what the website says. Those poor part-timers have enough to deal with.
This is for their online customer service. I have eczema and the fabric of their boxer briefs exacerbates it. Their no bull guarantee states the company will refund it if you are not satisfied with their products if it is associated with the product design or performance. I guess having eczema is my fault and when my eczema flares up wearing these boxer briefs it is also my fault and not related whatsoever to product design or performance.
Your no Bull is guarantee is pure BS. If you are going to buy Duluth products, do it through a third party.
Purchased Duluth's firehose flex pants and have been using them for about 6 months now. Duluth firehose pants are tough as they claim to be, worth the price if you work outside, in rougher conditions, or need flexible pants. The crotch gusset is the best thing to ever happen to me,(not literally) I'll never buy jeans again.
When purchasing a sale item, after checkout the item appeared as different color with full price. They will not cancel the order. They tell you to ship it back after you get the item. The last time I returned an item it took two months to get refund. I will never buy from them again.
Out of state businesses are required to collect and pay CA sale tax at a rate of 8/5%. I recently received my invoice and the sales tax collected was 18.5%. Well above the CA tax rate of 8.5%. I brought this to the attention of Duluth and "Heidi" responded back the tax rate is set by CA. I've purchase lots of out of state items and this is the first time I have ever been charged over 8.5%. They should be audited by CA Board of Equalization, responsible for tax collection. I have reported this to the BOE.
Update to review: Duluth Trading has refunded me the overcharge of the sales tax. Customer service was quick to respond. The first answer was obviously from a low level service rep. I answered back that the response from Duluth was unacceptable. Then results came about after mentioning my contact to BBB in WI and my state sales tax office. To my satisfaction Duluth refunded the overcharge of the sales tax. I hope they fix the algorithm with charging out of state sale tax for CA. I do like their products and will continue purchasing from Duluth.
To process an exchange, you pretty much have to pick up the phone. But the folks I talked to were super helpful and responsive.
I place an order and after 2 weeks called customer service to report, they asked me to wait 7 more days. I did and it did not arrive so I called back. They told me that they would ship out a replacement and advised me that if the first order showed up first to keep it and return the second order by writing Refused-Return to sender! I did this ad they returned it to me. I called customer service and told them I was tired of messing with this and they wanted my permission to charge my credit card and I gave it, they hung up immediately before I could tell them to close my account and that using UPS in conjunction with the post office was a horrible idea and I would rather pay something for shipping to make it reliable.
I followed one of their ads and ordered some of their closeout products and paid via paypal. A week later they cancelled my order. They did not bother to close the authorization at paypal. If they sent an email explaining their actions is was among the two dozen ads they sent in the same week. The 40% discount I had when ordering is now available as a 20% off future orders. Anything you see on their ads should be considered misleading.
Previously, I had been pleased with Duluth Trading. My latest order, however, was shocking. Two of my ordered items were simply cancelled outright. Other items were subsequently placed on back order when that was not the condition when ordered. I think their customer service has taken a steep nose dive.
I have been using Duluth underwear for two years now. My wife bought them for me as a joke because of their funny, witty comerials. I just received two sweaters that I ordered last week. My daughter got me a gift card because she knows I love their products The underwear are the best! They are a bit expensive, but worth every penny. Wives, girlfriends this is the place to shop for the perfect gift for you man.
Placed an order, returned it via their shipping label provided - NEVER RECEIVED MY MONEY BACK! I even received a confirmation email stating 'we received your return.' Spoke with them on 3 different occasions... we have not received your package HUH! Then what is this email saying otherwise, and the UPS confirmation? Never will I order from this company again... HORRIBLE!
Answer: It is a scam. They don't follow their own policies. Buy elsewhere.
Answer: They profess to have a NO BULL guarantee. That's it, no fine print. But there is fine print, well hidden on their site.
Answer: It was not difficult getting Customer Service. My return was denied twice by email, twice by phone and once by a supervisor. It was the 5th effort that finally got me through to a supervisor who gave me the credit.
Answer: My order has taken over SIX WEEKS AND STILL NOT DELIVERED. Most ALL PRODUCTS ARE MADE, STORED AND SHIPPED FROM CHINA. You always get what you pay for!
Answer: You should call them and explain. They should replace them. Last year, they would have replaced them. They are different now so I can't say what they will do. If they refuse, call back over and over again until you get a reasonable agent on the phone. Ask for a supervisor also, if needed.
