3weeks went by and no order and they claim post office lost the order but refused to refund my money. The rep on the phone stated if I do received the order and want to return it will cost me 7.95. Total BS buyer beware they are crooked. Amazon has a no hassle return policy is the way to go. The claim over no bull! Is completely BULL!
Never have I ever had so many issues ordering and I most of my shopping online. Duluth Trading will not cancel orders even if you call 5 minutes after ordering. Will not exchange items even if they have not shipped. You must receive the order then call them for a return lable, ship it back, wait for them to receive, then they will ship the correct item... You know if it hasn't been 10 years and you haven't gained 20lbs by the. To make issues worse they double charge all items as they ship. When calling to ask why I was being double charged the sweet, but simple, customer care agent could not tell me why this was, just that it happens sometimes and the charges fall off. When I asked when they will cancel the charges she did not know this either. So basically unless you have an extra $1000 lying around for them to double charge everything for an unknown time DO NOT ORDER! It's 2020 why can't you perform internet sales properly or train your staff!?!?! I spent 2 days talking to 3 people who new less then my dog. Never will I ever spend my money here again. I haven't even received my items and I am so disgusted I don't want them... But you know they won't refund me... Unless I spend another weekend talking through stupid and hoping for miracles.
There are no "free returns". The company claims to have "free return shipping", but the company charges a $7.99 postage fee, which is deducted from your refund. This means that if your order is under $7.99 or barely above it, there's no point in returning it since you'll just be losing money. Their "No bull" policy is BS. Don't bother shopping at this company when there's plenty of others that actually offer free return shipping without hidden fees.
Especially during this time, this company should be waiving the fee.
I always buy wrangler jeans 38 x 30 relaxed fit. I thought I try the Duluth mens ballroom flex relaxed jeans I can't even button them. They are not true to size. I now have to return them at a cost of $7.99 I will never do business with this company and neither should you!
I ordered my Christmas gifts from Duluth for my boys. 2 pair of the 4 pair I bought needed to be a smaller size. I was told by Heidi that it will take 2 months for me to receive my return. Keep this in mind when ordering. I have been a customer for a few years and I have never had any issues in the past. Heidi ( WEB*******) did let me know the company is fully aware that it takes this long now. Today, they lost my business. 2 months is absurd.
Poor! I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with this company. On their website it stated guarantee delivery before Christmas. They emailed twice stating that my order was expected to arrive by 12/23. Now it will not be arriving until 12/28. The company's solution... print out a photo and wrap it up. What a JOKE. Never again will I be mislead by this company. By the end of my conversation with Duluth I was told,"it's your fault". Are you kidding me? Wow!
I've had three expensive sweaters from them shrink from a large to what I'd call a small(Two were the wool). Followed directions as stated on care tag. I also believe their call center doesn't have a clue what the distribution center is doing. I've gotten the run around a half dozen times. They won't get anymore of my money.
There was a boot being advertised in their new catalog for an incredible price so I called them & spoke to customer service & manager- neither one would honor their own pricing from their own catalog... wow! Very dishonest company. Shop LL Bean or Lands End... they are very honest companies to purchase from!
I ordered 13 identical small non clothing items. I clearly listed a billing address and a different shipping address. They sent three seperate packages to the billing address. No explanation for three seperate packages. Wouldn't have been cheaper to consolidate in one box? Most companies print labels off of the website information. Apparently no so at Duluth Trading company. This is a opportunity to screw up. Since there is no human being at the billing address, it is a postal box out in the country, I had to explain these packages would likely be stolen. Current information is they were trying to recall the packages. I wonder what the delay will be. No more biz with DTC.
In just a few short years it seems as though the companies additional retail site expansions did not bear them fruit. The no bull guarantee has largely gone, well,... bull$&@"! They no longer back their high priced products with a no questions asked life time guarantee. A move which for this consumer, and I'm certain for most others, will accelerate the death of this struggling retailer. Alas another victim of the impending brick and mortar death spiral. Big mistake Duluth trading. You will be gone soon due to your stingy move to not honor your trademark no bull guarantee, a "guarantee" which turned out to be nothing but bull$&@"!
I ordered a winter hat. Instead of the color shown in the catalog that i ordered, they sent me a different color, and the size was completely wrong. When i called for a refund on the expensive shipping and to complain, the woman i talked to was extremely rude and practically called me a liar. Additionally, the fit of the hat was horrible and poorly made. Ripoff!
I placed an order that I needed in a week. Having heard nothing about the shipment date in 3 days, I e-mailed customer service. No one responded, but I received a UPS notification soon after sending my e-mail showing that a UPS label had been created.
Still no projected date of delivery, and so I called customer service. I said I need my order delivered either in 7 days or in 20 days, not in between. I never expected that the shipping would take more than a week it's not the holidays or a sale period. I offered to pay for expedited shipping. Customer service said there was nothing they could do "once the label was created." Really? Are we in the Stone Age?! The secret is that Duluth is trying to be cheap by using UPS-to-USPS instead of simply UPS to ship their orders - that's the reason for the delay!
I am not ordering again in the future, because I'm thoroughly frustrated with their inefficient and ineffective customer fulfillment/shipping. Too bad, because their products are of good quality. Even though their prices are high, the quality kinda made up for the prices. But when you add poor unrealistic shipping to it, forget it - it's just not worth it.
I'm a professional advertising human. I believe in it. That being said, I also believe Duluth Trading Company generates good quality merchandise at justifiably elevated prices because it is simply superior stuff in most cases. I am all for fun-blunt radio, TV and jingle productions. So I'm a fan; to a degree. Their productions are memorable and don't stink.
What damages my appreciation is DTC's relentless marketing after the sale. Daily emails are superfluous at best. Here's why I just opted to UNSUBSCRIBE. DTC brought it on by apparently developing a strategy the includes daily assaults as though I am some addled brained dementia shopper who forgets what I need. So they feel I now must shop DTC EVERY SINGLE DAY I SURVIVE my lack of self-awareness.
Do the employees there in Minnesota have similar trouble with their needs?
Like, they wake up thinking: "I must secure another product today or my life is wasted?"
Evidently you believe the Duluthers are like a homeless person who got a morsel from us then just opted to move into my garage. To Duluth ruthless marketing department:
You are welcome when I need you. After that, you are just an irritating mosquito.
I've ordered a liitle of everything from, underwear, to apothecary, to tings for my truck and dog!
I've been happy with just about all of it!
I haven't shopped DTC in years. I cancelled their catalog and emails because not only had I sent most of my purchases back for being too long, too tight or otherwise ill-cut for my body (which wears a size 4-6 typically) but I was tired of the stunts they would pull with shipping, sales and various coupons. If I had a coupon for free shipping and an item happened to be on sale, I had to choose between the sale price and the coupon. More than once I had JUST ordered an item when it went on sale, and when I asked for a price adjustment I was told that this wasn't their policy. All of this was provided that they actually had an advertised item in stock as they were often out of something by the time I received either their catalog or a sale announcement. Apparently this company works for some people but not for me.
Duluth Trading Buck Naked underwear and Long Tail tee shirts are really well made, and if you can get the on sale, they are a great deal.
The warranty and exchange policy look really good until you read the fine print, and it becomes obvious they were designed to discourage use.
Why is this critical? For online shopping, consistency in sizes is important. For example, I wear a large shirt in most brands and styles, yet a purchase of a large from Duluth resulted in a shirt that was way too big. So now I know, at Duluth, I order a medium... and now have a large tent of a shirt hanging in my closet because a return costs me.
Excellent winter wear. Excellant toys for Christmas.
I didn't care for the name brand underwear, weird fit, but their work pants can not be beat. Definitely try out the fire house and fleece lined products. Must have for cold climates.
Great add campaigns. Great returns.
I love these clothes... the Long Tail tees in summer, the Henleys in winter. My only beef and hence the 4 instead of 5 stars, is availability of items, especially on sale. The other is some of their items seem overpriced. However, they are well made, backed by guarantee, and worth the money in the long run. Thanks Duluth, but please stock more... I will buy more!
I placed an order on December 16th with the understanding the purchase would arrive before Christmas. I went online to review my account and it now indicated a December 27th delivery date! There was no notification regarding the delay. Had I known the items would not have arrived by Christmas I would have purchased an alternative gift. Very disappointing!
I bought a pair of jeans from Duluth. I was very impressed with the fit and the extra belt loops. I wore them once or twice a week. Just doing everyday stuff, not working hard in them. Within 6 months the crouch tore. I am now in the process of sending them back. Lets hope their,"no bull" returns claim is true.
Answer: It is a scam. They don't follow their own policies. Buy elsewhere.
Answer: They profess to have a NO BULL guarantee. That's it, no fine print. But there is fine print, well hidden on their site.
Answer: It was not difficult getting Customer Service. My return was denied twice by email, twice by phone and once by a supervisor. It was the 5th effort that finally got me through to a supervisor who gave me the credit.
Answer: My order has taken over SIX WEEKS AND STILL NOT DELIVERED. Most ALL PRODUCTS ARE MADE, STORED AND SHIPPED FROM CHINA. You always get what you pay for!
Answer: You should call them and explain. They should replace them. Last year, they would have replaced them. They are different now so I can't say what they will do. If they refuse, call back over and over again until you get a reasonable agent on the phone. Ask for a supervisor also, if needed.
